希伯來書12:18-29


12:18 你們原不是來到那能摸的山;此山有火焰、密雲、黑暗、暴風、
12:19 角聲與說話的聲音。那些聽見這聲音的,都求不要再向他們說話;
12:20 因為他們當不起所命他們的話,說:「靠近這山的,即便是走獸,也要用石頭打死。」
12:21 所見的極其可怕,甚至摩西說:「我甚是恐懼戰兢。」
12:22 你們乃是來到錫安山,永生上帝的城邑,就是天上的耶路撒冷。那裡有千萬的天使,
12:23 有名錄在天上諸長子之會所共聚的總會,有審判眾人的上帝和被成全之義人的靈魂,
12:24 並新約的中保耶穌,以及所灑的血;這血所說的比亞伯的血所說的更美。
12:25 你們總要謹慎,不可棄絕那向你們說話的。因為,那些棄絕在地上警戒他們的尚且不能逃罪,何況我們違背那從天上警戒我們的呢?
12:26 當時他的聲音震動了地,但如今他應許說:「再一次我不單要震動地,還要震動天。」
12:27 這再一次的話,是指明被震動的,就是受造之物都要挪去,使那不被震動的常存。
12:28 所以我們既得了不能震動的國,就當感恩,照上帝所喜悅的,用虔誠、敬畏的心事奉上帝。
12:29 因為我們的上帝乃是烈火。

18 You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; 19 to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, 20 because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death." 21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

    一個人信靠主耶穌,成為上帝的兒女之後,是要承受「不能震動的國」,就是說這個國是永恆的,因為天和地都有震動的狀態,都會過去的,惟有上帝國是不會過去,是永遠穩固!

    既然如此,我們對上帝的態度是:「就當感恩,照上帝所喜悅的,用虔誠、敬畏的心事奉上帝」!作者還警告我們說:「因為我們的上帝乃是烈火」!而我們之所以在上帝面前站地得住,就是因為耶穌基督的寶血,「這血所說的比亞伯的血所說的更美」!因為耶穌基督是上帝的兒子,祂的寶血是有永遠的功效的!

    也因為靠著耶穌基督的寶血,我們才可以「來到錫安山,永生上帝的城邑,就是天上的耶路撒冷。那裡有千萬的天使,有名錄在天上諸長子之會所共聚的總會,有審判眾人的上帝和被成全之義人的靈魂」!

    因此,我們更要成為順命的兒女,遵行上帝的命令,永遠保守自己在上帝的國中!

希伯來書12:14-17


12:14 你們要追求與眾人和睦,並要追求聖潔;非聖潔沒有人能見主。
12:15 又要謹慎,恐怕有人失了上帝的恩;恐怕有毒根生出來擾亂你們,因此叫眾人沾染污穢;
12:16 恐怕有淫亂的,有貪戀世俗如以掃的,他因一點食物把自己長子的名分賣了。
12:17 後來想要承受父所祝的福,竟被棄絕,雖然號哭切求,卻得不著門路使他父親的心意回轉。這是你們知道的。

14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.

    以掃不看重自己的身分,以至於失去從父親以撒來的祝福,被弟弟雅各所奪去!這樣的福份本是長子所應得的,卻落到弟弟的身上。雖然弟弟是用詭詐的方式得到,也一再表示歉意。但是,失去的再怎樣要都要不回來了,已經歸給自己的弟弟。

    同樣,今日我們不看重上帝給我們的身分,存著驕傲的心,以為自己是天之驕子,上帝絕對不會丟棄我們,照著己意任意而為,就像以色列第一為君王掃羅,憑著己意行事,不照上帝所吩咐的去行,最後每況愈下,失去了為王該有的尊嚴,以至於非常不光彩的離開世間!

    殷證歷歷,豈可任意而為,不理上帝所賜的恩典呢?就是以自己的心願勝過上帝的旨意!忘記上帝今日給我們的身分,就是要引導人悔改,不是要定人的罪,更不是無所不用其極,就是不給人留悔改歸向上帝的路,就是要將人堵死死,這豈是上帝兒女該有的表現呢?

希伯來書12:7-13


12:7 你們所忍受的,是上帝管教你們,待你們如同待兒子。焉有兒子不被父親管教的呢?
12:8 管教原是眾子所共受的。你們若不受管教,就是私子,不是兒子了。
12:9 再者,我們曾有生身的父管教我們,我們尚且敬重他,何況萬靈的父,我們豈不更當順服他得生嗎?
12:10 生身的父都是暫隨己意管教我們;惟有萬靈的父管教我們,是要我們得益處,使我們在他的聖潔上有分。
12:11 凡管教的事,當時不覺得快樂,反覺得愁苦;後來卻為那經練過的人結出平安的果子,就是義。
12:12 所以,你們要把下垂的手、發酸的腿挺起來;
12:13 也要為自己的腳,把道路修直了,使瘸子不致歪腳(或譯:差路),反得痊癒。

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. 13 “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

    管教是父親對孩子愛的表現父親越疼愛孩子就更多的教導與訓練希望孩子可以成才可以擔負重責大任完成父親心中所期盼的所以受管教的是父親所疼愛的也因此受管教的孩子是父親所看重不被管教的是父親所不看重的,如同司生子一般。

    同樣上帝既然像父親一般,祂也必然會管教我們,祂也必然會訓練與教導我們。這也就是說,上帝對我們的生命必然有做為,不會對我們不裡不採。既然如此,上帝必定在我們的生命之中塑造的工作,要打我們模造成他兒子耶穌基督的樣式。

    我們都期盼被上帝所重用,我們就必須有上帝兒女的樣式。所以,我們要勇敢接受上帝在我們身上的工作,放下自以為是的努力,也放下抗拒的心理,就是要配合上帝的樣式來生活與行事,與我們所蒙的恩相稱!
