歷代志下4:1-22
4:1 他又製造一座銅壇，長二十肘，寬二十肘，高十肘；
4:2 又鑄一個銅海，樣式是圓的，高五肘，徑十肘，圍三十肘；
4:3 海周圍有野瓜（野瓜：原文是牛）的樣式，每肘十瓜，共有兩行，是鑄海的時候鑄上的；
4:4 有十二隻銅牛馱海：三隻向北，三隻向西，三隻向南，三隻向東；海在牛上，牛尾向內；
4:5 海厚一掌，邊如杯邊，又如百合花，可容三千罷特；
4:6 又製造十個盆：五個放在右邊，五個放在左邊，獻燔祭所用之物都洗在其內；但海是為祭司沐浴的。
4:7 他又照所定的樣式造十個金燈臺，放在殿裡：五個在右邊，五個在左邊；
4:8 又造十張桌子放在殿裡：五張在右邊，五張在左邊；又造一百個金碗；
4:9 又建立祭司院和大院，並院門，用銅包裹門扇；
4:10 將海安在殿門的右邊，就是南邊。
4:11 戶蘭又造了盆、鏟、碗。這樣，他為所羅門王做完了上帝殿的工。
4:12 所造的就是：兩根柱子和柱上兩個如球的頂，並兩個蓋柱頂的網子
4:13 和四百石榴，安在兩個網子上〈每網兩行蓋著兩個柱上如球的頂〉。
4:14 盆座和其上的盆，
4:15 海和海下的十二隻牛，
4:16 盆、鏟子、肉鍤子，與耶和華殿裡的一切器皿，都是巧匠戶蘭用光亮的銅為所羅門王造成的，
4:17 是在約旦平原疏割和撒利但中間藉膠泥鑄成的。
4:18 所羅門製造的這一切甚多，銅的輕重無法可查。
4:19 所羅門又造上帝殿裡的金壇和陳設餅的桌子，
4:20 並精金的燈臺和燈盞，可以照例點在內殿前。
4:21 燈臺上的花和燈盞，並蠟剪都是金的，且是純金的；
4:22 又用精金製造鑷子、盤子、調羹、火鼎。至於殿門和至聖所的門扇，並殿的門扇，都是金子妝飾的。
He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.[a] 2 He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits[b] high. It took a line of thirty cubits[c] to measure around it. 3 Below the rim, figures of bulls encircled it—ten to a cubit.[d] The bulls were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea.
4 The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center. 5 It was a handbreadth[e] in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.[f]
6 He then made ten basins for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.
7 He made ten gold lampstands according to the specifications for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
8 He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. He also made a hundred gold sprinkling bowls.
9 He made the courtyard of the priests, and the large court and the doors for the court, and overlaid the doors with bronze. 10 He placed the Sea on the south side, at the southeast corner.
11 And Huram also made the pots and shovels and sprinkling bowls.
So Huram finished the work he had undertaken for King Solomon in the temple of God:
12 the two pillars;
the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars;
the two sets of network decorating the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars;
13 the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of pomegranates for each network, decorating the bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars);
14 the stands with their basins;
15 the Sea and the twelve bulls under it;
16 the pots, shovels, meat forks and all related articles.
All the objects that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for the temple of the Lord were of polished bronze. 17 The king had them cast in clay molds in the plain of the Jordan between Sukkoth and Zarethan.[g] 18 All these things that Solomon made amounted to so much that the weight of the bronze could not be calculated.
19 Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in God’s temple:
the golden altar;
the tables on which was the bread of the Presence;
20 the lampstands of pure gold with their lamps, to burn in front of the inner sanctuary as prescribed;
21 the gold floral work and lamps and tongs (they were solid gold);
22 the pure gold wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, dishes and censers; and the gold doors of the temple: the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and the doors of the main hall.

金和銅的色澤相似，但是銅會生鏽產生銅綠，金子則不會。不過兩個金屬若勤擦拭，則都會有光亮的輝澤，十分華麗！聖殿佣金和銅做為陳設的目的也是如此，讓人因眼前的榮華，思想上帝在天上殿宇的榮美，而產生敬畏的心！
基督徒的生命是要彰顯上帝的榮華在世上，使人因此看見上帝的榮華！也因為這樣，基督徒的形體被稱為上帝的殿，要藉所言所行來榮耀上帝！也因此，我們也要常常來親近上帝，如同金和銅的器皿需要勤擦拭，來顯現光輝！
求主幫助我們能承擔此生命的使命，好讓我們在地上短暫的生命，能彰顯上帝永遠榮耀的光輝！也因此，我們要活出基督榮美形象，天天效法主耶穌而生活！而上帝也在天上為我們備安宅，讓我們在走完人生路途，有永恆的居所繼續讚美上帝、敬拜祂！

路加福音18:35-43
18:35 耶穌將近耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎子坐在路旁討飯。
18:36 聽見許多人經過，就問是甚麼事。
18:37 他們告訴他，是拿撒勒人耶穌經過。
18:38 他就呼叫說：「大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！」
18:39 在前頭走的人就責備他，不許他作聲；他卻越發喊叫說：「大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！」
18:40 耶穌站住，吩咐把他領過來，到了跟前，就問他說：
18:41 「你要我為你做甚麼？」他說：「主啊，我要能看見。」
18:42 耶穌說：「你可以看見！你的信救了你了。」
18:43 瞎子立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，一路歸榮耀與上帝。眾人看見這事，也讚美上帝。
35 As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. 36 When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”
38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?”
“Lord, I want to see,” he replied.
42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.

主耶穌醫治在耶利哥城之瞎眼的乞丐！
路加福音18:31-34
18:31 耶穌帶著十二個門徒，對他們說：「看哪，我們上耶路撒冷去，先知所寫的一切事都要成就在人子身上。
18:32 他將要被交給外邦人；他們要戲弄他，凌辱他，吐唾沫在他臉上，
18:33 並要鞭打他，殺害他；第三日他要復活。」
18:34 這些事門徒一樣也不懂得，意思乃是隱藏的；他們不曉得所說的是甚麼。
31 Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. 32 He will be delivered over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him and spit on him; 33 they will flog him and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”
34 The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.

主耶穌沒有忘記，也沒有逃避要成為「上帝羔羊」的使命，祂也不斷向門徒宣告，雖然門徒不明白！
路加福音18:18-30
18:18 有一個官問耶穌說：「良善的夫子，我該做甚麼事才可以承受永生？」
18:19 耶穌對他說：「你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了上帝一位之外，再沒有良善的。
18:20 誡命你是曉得的：『不可姦淫；不可殺人；不可偷盜；不可作假見證；當孝敬父母。』」
18:21 那人說：「這一切我從小都遵守了。」
18:22 耶穌聽見了，就說：「你還缺少一件：要變賣你一切所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；你還要來跟從我。」
18:23 他聽見這話，就甚憂愁，因為他很富足。
18:24 耶穌看見他，就說：「有錢財的人進上帝的國是何等的難哪！
18:25 駱駝穿過針的眼比財主進上帝的國還容易呢！」
18:26 聽見的人說：「這樣，誰能得救呢？」
18:27 耶穌說：「在人所不能的事，在上帝卻能。」
18:28 彼得說：「看哪，我們已經撇下自己所有的跟從你了。」
18:29 耶穌說：「我實在告訴你們，人為上帝的國撇下房屋，或是妻子、弟兄、父母、兒女，
18:30 沒有在今世不得百倍，在來世不得永生的。」
18 A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. 20 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’[a]”
21 “All these I have kept since I was a boy,” he said.
22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
23 When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy. 24 Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! 25 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”
27 Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
28 Peter said to him, “We have left all we had to follow you!”
29 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30 will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life.”

人常常想要用自己的作為來換去一些成果，然後將榮耀歸給自己，以為這樣心裡就會滿足！其實這是讓自己落入更大的失望，正如這一個少年官，一開始問：「良善的夫子，我該做甚麼事才可以承受永生？」
但是，主耶穌也一劈頭就告訴他：「你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了上帝一位之外，再沒有良善的。」
這也告訴我們，人是乏善可陳，無法自己成為善，是需要靠上帝才能成為善！也因此，人不能靠自己做什麼來承受永生！那人要如何得永生呢？
或許你會朗朗上口的說：「上帝愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的，不致滅亡，反得永生。」(約翰福音3:16)
是的，就是這麼簡單，只要信耶穌就有永生！但是，這簡單的背後是不簡單，是上帝主動的拯救，是三一上帝的三位格都有行動，人就是配合上帝的作為，用信心來領受，不是用行為來換取，不是我們有甚麼資格，而是上帝自己願意，只要我們願意信靠與跟隨主耶穌，甚至放棄一切所有，來得著主耶穌就可以！
而我們之所以可以放棄一切，是因為聖靈讓我們看見，使我們如保羅一般宣告：「只是我先前以為與我有益的，我現在因基督都當作有損的。不但如此，我也將萬事當作有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要得著基督！」(腓立比書3:7-8)
