馬太福音8:28-34

 

8:28 耶穌既渡到那邊去，來到加大拉人的地方，就有兩個被鬼附的人從墳塋裡出來迎著他，極其凶猛，甚至沒有人能從那條路上經過。
8:29 他們喊著說：「上帝的兒子，我們與你有甚麼相干？時候還沒有到，你就上這裡來叫我們受苦嗎？」
8:30 離他們很遠，有一大群豬吃食。
8:31 鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬群吧！」
8:32 耶穌說：「去吧！」鬼就出來，進入豬群。全群忽然闖下山崖，投在海裡淹死了。
8:33 放豬的就逃跑進城，將這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴人。
8:34 合城的人都出來迎見耶穌，既見了就央求他離開他們的境界。

 

²⁸ When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,^[c] two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. ²⁹ “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”

³⁰ Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. ³¹ The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

³² He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. ³³ Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. ³⁴ Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.

    主耶穌和人的看法大大不同，人看重的是財物，而主耶穌看重的是人的價值。為何如此說呢？因為主耶穌情願用一大群豬來使兩個被鬼附的人可以得著正常，所以他允許鬼就出來，然後進入豬群！當然鬼入豬群，豬就抓狂而投入海裡淹死。

 

    或許人會說這樣做值得嗎？那一群豬可是可以賣很多錢呢！但是人有上帝所賜永遠的靈魂，是照上帝的形像造的，不應被邪靈來折磨，這不僅對人不好，對上帝是不公平的！因為上帝造人本來是要成為愛的對象，要彰顯上帝榮耀，不是給魔鬼當僕役！

 

    也因為這個緣故主耶穌道成肉身來到世界，讓我們透過信靠祂，接受祂為救主，祂就賜給我們權柄成為上帝的兒女，使我們得著聖靈為憑據，可以稱呼上帝為阿爸父！而上帝也在基督裡，賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣！而這一切，上帝從創立世界以前藉由在基督裡揀選了我們，為我們預備好了！

 

    讓我們為此來讚美上帝，將父上帝當得的榮耀歸給祂！

 

 

馬太福音8:23-27

 

8:23 耶穌上了船，門徒跟著他。
8:24 海裡忽然起了暴風，甚至船被波浪掩蓋；耶穌卻睡著了。
8:25 門徒來叫醒了他，說：「主啊，救我們，我們喪命啦！」
8:26 耶穌說：「你們這小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大地平靜了。
8:27 眾人希奇，說：「這是怎樣的人？連風和海也聽從他了！」

 

²³ Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. ²⁴ Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. ²⁵ The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

²⁶ He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

²⁷ The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

    遇到事情害怕並不是沒有信心，只是信心比較小，但是小信心並不是不好，主耶穌向門徒說：「你們這小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」是要他們轉眼仰望主自己，不要靠自己！要他們清楚一切都在上帝掌管，上帝必定保守！

 

    主耶穌也趁這個機會讓門徒感受到祂是有權柄的，因為風和浪都是天使的作為，正如希伯來書1章7節說：「論到使者，又說：上帝以風為使者，以火焰為僕役。」也因為這樣，主耶穌斥責風和海，風和海就大大地平靜了！

 

    而聖靈也透過門徒的反應來說明主耶穌的身分特殊：「這是怎樣的人？連風和海也聽從他了！」

 

    也因為這樣，讓人認識到：主耶穌的道成肉身，是讓人重新尋為人該有的尊榮，也就是說上帝要藉由人彰顯他的榮耀！

 

馬太福音8:18-22

 

8:18 耶穌見許多人圍著他，就吩咐渡到那邊去。
8:19 有一個文士來，對他說：「夫子，你無論往哪裡去，我要跟從你。」
8:20 耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」
8:21 又有一個門徒對耶穌說：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」
8:22 耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人；你跟從我吧！」

 

¹⁸ When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. ¹⁹ Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

²⁰ Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

²¹ Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

²² But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

    文士和門徒代表兩種不同的身分：一個是已經有充分的信仰知識，另一卻是還是一個學習者。但是主耶穌看重的是那個在學習中的門徒，卻不看中那個知識豐富的文士！

 

    雖然為文士的口中說：「夫子，你無論往哪裡去，我要跟從你。」有一顆願意跟隨的心，該是多好啊！可是主耶穌卻反過來為難他：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

 

    這位門徒，雖然稱為門徒表示被主耶穌呼召來跟隨的人，卻反而對主說：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」就是以處理父親後事為藉口拒絕主的呼召，主卻對他說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人；你跟從我吧！」

 

    這也告訴我們：成為主的門徒，不是在人心裡的願意不願意，而是要有主的呼召！

 

    正如要成為牧者，不在乎是否有許多裝備，而是在乎主的呼召！就如使徒保羅，他本是抗拒煮耶穌的，卻是因為主耶穌主動的呼召，他的生命才有180度的大改變！

 

    這是信仰中非常弔詭也讓人不解的事！

馬太福音8:14-17

 

8:14 耶穌到了彼得家裡，見彼得的岳母害熱病躺著。
8:15 耶穌把她的手一摸，熱就退了；她就起來服事耶穌。
8:16 到了晚上，有人帶著許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前，他只用一句話就把鬼都趕出去，並且治好了一切有病的人。
8:17 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：他代替我們的軟弱，擔當我們的疾病。

 

¹⁴ When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. ¹⁵ He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.

¹⁶ When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. ¹⁷ This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

“He took up our infirmities
    and bore our diseases.”

    以賽亞書53章4節說：「他誠然擔當我們的憂患，背負我們的痛苦；我們卻以為他受責罰，被上帝擊打苦待了。」

 

    主耶穌的受苦是為了承擔我們的憂患和痛苦；但是在為信主的時候，我們真的以為「他受責罰是被上帝擊打苦待了！」

 

    但是信主了以後，知道祂真為上帝的兒子，本不必受這樣的苦，只是因為上帝要透過祂的受罰來承擔我們該受的，因為祂要拯救我們脫離罪和死的轄制，要敗壞那掌死權的魔鬼！

 

    這雖然是我們的理智無法明白的事，但是卻要讓我們從敗壞之中拯救出來，並且要奪回我們悖逆的心，使我們的舊人和祂在十字架上同死，新人和主耶穌從死裡一同復活！

 

    而上帝所賜的聖靈，就讓主耶穌得勝的成果實踐在我們生命中，使我們知道我們事與主耶穌同死與同復活，而得上帝兒女的身分與承受上帝國為產業！我們要為此，將榮耀歸給主到永遠！
