詩篇98:1-9
98:1 （一篇詩。）你們要向耶和華唱新歌！因為他行過奇妙的事；他的右手和聖臂施行救恩。
98:2 耶和華發明了他的救恩，在列邦人眼前顯出公義；
98:3 記念他向以色列家所發的慈愛，所憑的信實。地的四極都看見我們上帝的救恩。
98:4 全地都要向耶和華歡樂；要發起大聲，歡呼歌頌！
98:5 要用琴歌頌耶和華，用琴和詩歌的聲音歌頌他！
98:6 用號和角聲，在大君王耶和華面前歡呼！
98:7 願海和其中所充滿的澎湃；世界和住在其間的也要發聲。
98:8 願大水拍手；願諸山在耶和華面前一同歡呼；
98:9 因為他來要審判遍地。他要按公義審判世界，按公正審判萬民。

「救恩」和「公義」其實在上帝的眼中是同義的，因為「救恩」是出於上帝「公義」的屬性！若是上帝沒有設立「救恩」，就無法滿足上帝的「公義」！這怎麼說呢？
因為上帝造人的時候是按著祂的形象，是祂最珍貴和美好的創造，本當彰顯上帝的榮耀，使上帝的名得著稱讚！然而事與願違，人竟然聽從魔鬼的誘惑，違背上帝的命令，不遵守上帝的律法而犯罪，於是人被罪所轄制，似乎與上帝造人的目的相左！於是乎人和魔鬼的下場相同，就是永遠沉淪！
但是上帝的原本旨意，就是要我們可耶穌基督得著兒子的名份！正如以弗所書1章4-6節所說：「就如上帝從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；又因愛我們，就按著自己的意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裡所賜給我們的。」
然而這要的旨意如何實現呢？如何突破魔鬼的破壞呢？就是透過上帝公義的作為，設立救恩，讓耶穌基督為我們及我們祖先的罪惡，死在十字架上，滿足上帝的心意，使祂所揀選、所預定的人，可以得著上帝兒女的身分，完成上帝的旨意！

約書亞記14:1-15
14:1 以色列人在迦南地所得的產業，就是祭司以利亞撒和嫩的兒子約書亞，並以色列各支派的族長所分給他們的，都記在下面，
14:2 是照耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的，把產業拈鬮分給九個半支派。
14:3 原來，摩西在約旦河東已經把產業分給那兩個半支派，只是在他們中間沒有把產業分給利未人。
14:4 因為約瑟的子孫是兩個支派，就是瑪拿西和以法蓮，所以沒有把地分給利未人，但給他們城邑居住，並城邑的郊野，可以牧養他們的牲畜，安置他們的財物。
14:5 耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西，以色列人就照樣行，把地分了。
14:6 那時，猶大人來到吉甲見約書亞，有基尼洗族耶孚尼的兒子迦勒對約書亞說：「耶和華在加低斯‧巴尼亞指著我與你對神人摩西所說的話，你都知道了。
14:7 耶和華的僕人摩西從加低斯‧巴尼亞打發我窺探這地，那時我正四十歲；我按著心意回報他。
14:8 然而，同我上去的眾弟兄使百姓的心消化；但我專心跟從耶和華─我的上帝。
14:9 當日摩西起誓說：『你腳所踏之地定要歸你和你的子孫永遠為業，因為你專心跟從耶和華─我的上帝。』
14:10 自從耶和華對摩西說這話的時候，耶和華照他所應許的使我存活這四十五年；其間以色列人在曠野行走。看哪，現今我八十五歲了，
14:11 我還是強壯，像摩西打發我去的那天一樣；無論是爭戰，是出入，我的力量那時如何，現在還是如何。
14:12 求你將耶和華那日應許我的這山地給我；那裡有亞衲族人，並寬大堅固的城，你也曾聽見了。或者耶和華照他所應許的與我同在，我就把他們趕出去。」
14:13 於是約書亞為耶孚尼的兒子迦勒祝福，將希伯崙給他為業。
14:14 所以希伯崙作了基尼洗族耶孚尼的兒子迦勒的產業，直到今日，因為他專心跟從耶和華─以色列的上帝。
14:15 希伯崙從前名叫基列‧亞巴；亞巴是亞衲族中最尊大的人。於是國中太平，沒有爭戰了。
Now these are the areas the Israelites received as an inheritance in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel allotted to them. 2 Their inheritances were assigned by lot to the nine and a half tribes, as the Lord had commanded through Moses. 3 Moses had granted the two and a half tribes their inheritance east of the Jordan but had not granted the Levites an inheritance among the rest, 4 for Joseph’s descendants had become two tribes—Manasseh and Ephraim. The Levites received no share of the land but only towns to live in, with pasturelands for their flocks and herds. 5 So the Israelites divided the land, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
6 Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me. 7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions, 8 but my fellow Israelites who went up with me made the hearts of the people melt in fear. I, however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly. 9 So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.’[a]
10 “Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! 11 I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. 12 Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.”
13 Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance. 14 So Hebron has belonged to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite ever since, because he followed the Lord, the God of Israel, wholeheartedly. 15 (Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba after Arba, who was the greatest man among the Anakites.)
Then the land had rest from war.

約書亞把約旦河以西之地分配給9個半支派，因為兩個半支派是得約旦河東之地。但是，約瑟的子孫是兩個支派，就是瑪拿西和以法蓮。所以利未支派不算的話，仍然是12支派。只是利未之派的產業是上帝，河東和河西都沒有土地。
然而分完土地之後，又出現了一個插曲，就是沉寂很久的迦勒先生又上台了！因為他們那一代的以色列人，只有他和約書亞兩人進入迦南地！為甚麼有這樣的特權呢？就要回溯到《民數記》13:1-14:10這段記載，在大家對禁入迦南地感到失望之時，只有迦勒和約書亞大力鼓吹百姓，要相信上帝的應許！
也因為這樣上帝讚許迦勒：「惟獨我的僕人迦勒，因他另有一個心志，專一跟從我，我就把他領進他所去過的那地；他的後裔也必得那地為業。」(民數記14:24）
所以，迦勒一直將這樣的話放在心中，所以他在大家分完土地之後，再次將往事說出來，因為這樣的應許是上帝透過摩西宣告的，所以他會說摩西宣告說：「你腳所踏之地定要歸你和你的子孫永遠為業，因為你專心跟從耶和華─我的上帝。」
也因為這樣的話，使迦勒在後來的45年中，不隨從那些作惡的人，不爭權、不奪利！不僅無此，老當益壯，正如他所說：「看哪，現今我八十五歲了，
14:11 我還是強壯，像摩西打發我去的那天一樣；無論是爭戰，是出入，我的力量那時如何，現在還是如何。」
也因為這樣，他就得了希伯崙給他為業！而這希伯崙將來還成為他的子孫大衛王的根據地呢！可見心中有上帝的話很重要！你心中有沒有上帝的話，如同迦勒？

哥林多前書 1:26-31
1:26 弟兄們哪，可見你們蒙召的，按著肉體有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊貴的也不多。
1:27 神卻揀選了世上愚拙的，叫有智慧的羞愧；又揀選了世上軟弱的，叫那強壯的羞愧；
1:28 神也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那無有的，為要廢掉那有的，
1:29 使一切有血氣的，在神面前一個也不能自誇。
1:30 但你們得在基督耶穌裏，是本乎神；神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖，
1:31 如經上所記：「誇口的，當指著主誇口。」

保羅在此表明我們得救，不是我們比別人優秀，完全本乎上帝。不僅如此，上帝更讓耶穌基督成為我們的的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖，所以我們的一切都是來自耶穌基督，我們是毫無可誇的，我們只能存感謝的心來領受！
主耶穌藉著在十字架上的死為我們的罪受刑罰，祂主動順服天父的旨意，所成全的義就歸到我們。所以，我們從主耶穌領受雙重的恩惠。既是如此，我們更要努力行善，我們不要怕行不夠，不足之處，主早已為我們補足了！
這一切都是主耶穌完成了，我們要以歡喜快樂的心來讚美祂！

97:3 有烈火在他前頭行，燒滅他四圍的敵人。
97:4 他的閃電光照世界，大地看見便震動。
97:5 諸山見耶和華的面，就是全地之主的面，便消化如蠟。
97:6 諸天表明他的公義；萬民看見他的榮耀。
97:7 願一切事奉雕刻的偶像、靠虛無之神自誇的，都蒙羞愧。萬神哪，你們都當拜他。
97:8 耶和華啊，錫安聽見你的判斷就歡喜；猶大的城邑（原文是女子）也都快樂。

詩人宣告上帝的威嚴和大能，更宣告上帝的子民該有的特質：「你們愛耶和華的，都當恨惡罪惡；他保護聖民的性命，搭救他們脫離惡人的手。散布亮光是為義人；預備喜樂是為正直人。你們義人當靠耶和華歡喜，稱謝他可記念的聖名。」
因此，我們要成為上帝真正的兒女就是要「恨惡罪惡」！自從亞當夏娃犯罪以來，罪惡就進入了人的生命，所以不管事我們的靈魂或身體，都是被罪惡所污染了！也因為這樣人就會讓自己沉溺在罪中之樂，沒有一顆追求認識真理的心！就像詩篇14篇1-2節所說：「耶和華從天上垂看世人，要看有明白的沒有，有尋求上帝的沒有。他們都偏離正路，一同變為污穢；並沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。」
也因為這樣，我們都需要上帝透過耶穌基督來拯救我們！而要得到拯救之先，必須要有一顆悔改的心，這個悔改的心是因為明白上帝是聖潔的，要除去罪惡才能與上帝和好，所以會恨惡罪惡！正如先知以賽亞，在聖殿遇見上帝時，恨惡罪惡，所以說：「禍哉！我滅亡了！因為我是嘴唇不潔的人，又住在嘴唇不潔的民中，又因我眼見大君王─萬軍之耶和華。」(6:5)所以需要天使透過祭壇上來的火炭來除罪，也就是罪惡要對付清楚，才能被上帝所使用！
今天上帝透過耶穌基督的十字架，將罪惡對付清楚，我們才能與上帝和好，被上帝接納為兒女、為後嗣！所以，我們不是指是外表自稱是基督徒，去教會聚會就好，更要真真實實已靠耶穌基督的拯救，與上帝有和好的關係，才是真正得拯救的人！因此，我們要恨惡罪惡，在聖靈裡靠耶穌基督的恩典悔改歸向上帝！
