歷代志上18:1-17
18:1 此後，大衛攻打非利士人，把他們治服，從他們手下奪取了迦特和屬迦特的村莊；
18:2 又攻打摩押，摩押人就歸服大衛，給他進貢。
18:3 瑣巴王哈大利謝（在撒母耳下八章三節是哈大底謝）往幼發拉底河去，要堅定自己的國權，大衛就攻打他，直到哈馬，
18:4 奪了他的戰車一千，馬兵七千，步兵二萬，將拉戰車的馬砍斷蹄筋，但留下一百輛車的馬。
18:5 大馬士革的亞蘭人來幫助瑣巴王哈大利謝，大衛就殺了亞蘭人二萬二千。
18:6 於是大衛在大馬士革的亞蘭地設立防營，亞蘭人就歸服他，給他進貢。大衛無論往哪裡去，耶和華都使他得勝。
18:7 他奪了哈大利謝臣僕所拿的金盾牌帶到耶路撒冷。
18:8 大衛又從屬哈大利謝的提巴（或譯：比他）和均二城中奪取了許多的銅。後來所羅門用此製造銅海、銅柱，和一切的銅器。
18:9 哈馬王陀烏聽見大衛殺敗瑣巴王哈大利謝的全軍，
18:10 就打發他兒子哈多蘭去見大衛王，問他的安，為他祝福，因為他殺敗了哈大利謝〈原來陀烏與哈大利謝常常爭戰〉。哈多蘭帶了金銀銅的各樣器皿來。
18:11 大衛王將這些器皿，並從各國奪來的金銀，就是從以東、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞瑪力人所奪來的，都分別為聖獻給耶和華。
18:12 洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩在鹽谷擊殺了以東一萬八千人。
18:13 大衛在以東地設立防營，以東人就都歸服他。大衛無論往哪裡去，耶和華都使他得勝。
18:14 大衛作以色列眾人的王，又向眾民秉公行義。
18:15 洗魯雅的兒子約押作元帥；亞希律的兒子約沙法作史官；
18:16 亞希突的兒子撒督和亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒作祭司長；沙威沙作書記；
18:17 耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統轄基利提人和比利提人。大衛的眾子都在王的左右作領袖。
In the course of time, David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and he took Gath and its surrounding villages from the control of the Philistines.
2 David also defeated the Moabites, and they became subject to him and brought him tribute.
3 Moreover, David defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah, in the vicinity of Hamath, when he went to set up his monument at[a] the Euphrates River. 4 David captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers and twenty thousand foot soldiers. He hamstrung all but a hundred of the chariot horses.
5 When the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of them. 6 He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought him tribute. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.
7 David took the gold shields carried by the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem. 8 From Tebah[b] and Kun, towns that belonged to Hadadezer, David took a great quantity of bronze, which Solomon used to make the bronze Sea, the pillars and various bronze articles.
9 When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer king of Zobah, 10 he sent his son Hadoram to King David to greet him and congratulate him on his victory in battle over Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Hadoram brought all kinds of articles of gold, of silver and of bronze.
11 King David dedicated these articles to the Lord, as he had done with the silver and gold he had taken from all these nations: Edom and Moab, the Ammonites and the Philistines, and Amalek.
12 Abishai son of Zeruiah struck down eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt. 13 He put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became subject to David. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.
14 David reigned over all Israel, doing what was just and right for all his people. 15 Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was recorder; 16 Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelek[c] son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was secretary; 17 Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Kerethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief officials at the king’s side.

在這裡我們看見「大衛無論往哪裡去，耶和華都使他得勝。」出現兩次！就想到《基督精兵》這首詩歌。

元帥就是耶穌 領祂兵攻敵

直前忠勇門徒 將群敵圍困
戰勝魔鬼權力 令地獄震動

惟有天國恆興 到萬年振作
惡魔盡其權能 終不勝教會
皆因大帥忠誠 施恩力兼備
是的，我們有主的同在也要成為常勝軍，因為基督已經得勝了！
歷代志上16:1-43
16:1 眾人將上帝的約櫃請進去，安放在大衛所搭的帳幕裡，就在上帝面前獻燔祭和平安祭。
16:2 大衛獻完了燔祭和平安祭，就奉耶和華的名給民祝福，
16:3 並且分給以色列人，無論男女，每人一個餅，一塊肉，一個葡萄餅。
16:4 大衛派幾個利未人在耶和華的約櫃前事奉，頌揚，稱謝，讚美耶和華─以色列的上帝：
16:5 為首的是亞薩，其次是撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別‧以東、耶利，鼓瑟彈琴；惟有亞薩敲鈸，大發響聲；
16:6 祭司比拿雅和雅哈悉常在上帝的約櫃前吹號。
16:7 那日，大衛初次藉亞薩和他的弟兄以詩歌稱頌耶和華，說：
16:8 你們要稱謝耶和華，求告他的名，在萬民中傳揚他的作為！
16:9 要向他唱詩、歌頌，談論他一切奇妙的作為。
16:10 要以他的聖名誇耀；尋求耶和華的人，心中應當歡喜。
16:11 要尋求耶和華與他的能力，時常尋求他的面。
16:12 他僕人以色列的後裔，他所揀選雅各的子孫哪，你們要記念他奇妙的作為和他的奇事，並他口中的判語。
16:13 【併於上節】
16:14 他是耶和華─我們的上帝，全地都有他的判斷。
16:15 你們要記念他的約，直到永遠；他所吩咐的話，直到千代，
16:16 就是與亞伯拉罕所立的約，向以撒所起的誓。
16:17 他又將這約向雅各定為律例，向以色列定為永遠的約，
16:18 說：我必將迦南地賜給你，作你產業的分。
16:19 當時你們人丁有限，數目稀少，並且在那地為寄居的；
16:20 他們從這邦游到那邦，從這國行到那國。
16:21 耶和華不容甚麼人欺負他們，為他們的緣故責備君王，
16:22 說：不可難為我受膏的人，也不可惡待我的先知！
16:23 全地都要向耶和華歌唱！天天傳揚他的救恩，
16:24 在列邦中述說他的榮耀，在萬民中述說他的奇事。
16:25 因耶和華為大，當受極大的讚美；他在萬上帝之上，當受敬畏。
16:26 外邦的神都屬虛無，惟獨耶和華創造諸天。
16:27 有尊榮和威嚴在他面前，有能力和喜樂在他聖所。
16:28 民中的萬族啊，你們要將榮耀能力歸給耶和華，都歸給耶和華！
16:29 要將耶和華的名所當得的榮耀歸給他，拿供物來奉到他面前；當以聖潔的（的：或譯為）妝飾敬拜耶和華。
16:30 全地要在他面前戰抖，世界也堅定不得動搖。
16:31 願天歡喜，願地快樂；願人在列邦中說：耶和華作王了！
16:32 願海和其中所充滿的澎湃；願田和其中所有的都歡樂。
16:33 那時，林中的樹木都要在耶和華面前歡呼，因為他來要審判全地。
16:34 應當稱謝耶和華；因他本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！
16:35 要說：拯救我們的上帝啊，求你救我們，聚集我們，使我們脫離外邦，我們好稱讚你的聖名，以讚美你為誇勝。
16:36 耶和華─以色列的上帝，從亙古直到永遠，是應當稱頌的！眾民都說：「阿們！」並且讚美耶和華。
16:37 大衛派亞薩和他的弟兄在約櫃前常常事奉耶和華，一日盡一日的職分；
16:38 又派俄別‧以東和他的弟兄六十八人，與耶杜頓的兒子俄別‧以東，並何薩作守門的；
16:39 且派祭司撒督和他弟兄眾祭司在基遍的邱壇、耶和華的帳幕前燔祭壇上，每日早晚，照著耶和華律法書上所吩咐以色列人的，常給耶和華獻燔祭。
16:40 【併於上節】
16:41 與他們一同被派的有希幔、耶杜頓，和其餘被選名字錄在冊上的，稱謝耶和華，因他的慈愛永遠長存。
16:42 希幔、耶杜頓同著他們吹號、敲鈸，大發響聲，並用別的樂器隨著歌頌上帝。耶杜頓的子孫作守門的。
16:43 於是眾民各歸各家；大衛也回去為家眷祝福。
They brought the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and they presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God. 2 After David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord. 3 Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each Israelite man and woman.
4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to extol,[a] thank, and praise the Lord, the God of Israel: 5 Asaph was the chief, and next to him in rank were Zechariah, then Jaaziel,[b] Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They were to play the lyres and harps, Asaph was to sound the cymbals, 6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 That day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise to the Lord in this manner:
8 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make
known among the nations what he has done.
9 Sing to him, sing
praise to him;
tell
of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy
name;
let
the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
11 Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek
his face always.
12 Remember the wonders he has done,
his
miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
13 you his servants, the
descendants of Israel,
his
chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
14 He is the Lord our God;
his
judgments are in all the earth.
15 He remembers[c] his covenant forever,
the
promise he made, for a thousand generations,
16 the covenant he made
with Abraham,
the
oath he swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to
Jacob as a decree,
to
Israel as an everlasting covenant:
18 “To you I will give
the land of Canaan
as
the portion you will inherit.”
19 When they were but few in number,
few
indeed, and strangers in it,
20 they[d] wandered from nation to nation,
from
one kingdom to another.
21 He allowed no one to
oppress them;
for
their sake he rebuked kings:
22 “Do not touch my
anointed ones;
do
my prophets no harm.”
23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
proclaim
his salvation day after day.
24 Declare his glory
among the nations,
his
marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
he
is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of
the nations are idols,
but
the Lord made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty
are before him;
strength
and joy are in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe
to the Lord glory and strength.
29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
bring
an offering and come before him.
Worship the Lord in the
splendor of his[e] holiness.
30 Tremble
before him, all the earth!
The
world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let
them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
32 Let the sea resound,
and all that is in it;
let
the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
33 Let the trees of the
forest sing,
let
them sing for joy before the Lord,
for
he comes to judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his
love endures forever.
35 Cry out, “Save us,
God our Savior;
gather
us and deliver us from the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name,
and
glory in your praise.”
36 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
from
everlasting to everlasting.
Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the Lord.”
37 David left Asaph and his associates before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister there regularly, according to each day’s requirements. 38 He also left Obed-Edom and his sixty-eight associates to minister with them. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and also Hosah, were gatekeepers.
39 David left Zadok the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon 40 to present burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law of the Lord, which he had given Israel. 41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord, “for his love endures forever.” 42 Heman and Jeduthun were responsible for the sounding of the trumpets and cymbals and for the playing of the other instruments for sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were stationed at the gate.
43 Then all the people left, each for their own home, and David returned home to bless his family.

大衛將約櫃安置好，大家唱詩讚美上帝！
然而會幕的事則按照摩西律法的要求，讓利未之派來處理，建立起敬拜的事奉！
歷代志上15:1-29
15:1 大衛在大衛城為自己建造宮殿，又為上帝的約櫃預備地方，支搭帳幕。
15:2 那時大衛說：「除了利未人之外，無人可抬上帝的約櫃；因為耶和華揀選他們抬上帝的約櫃，且永遠事奉他。」
15:3 大衛招聚以色列眾人到耶路撒冷，要將耶和華的約櫃抬到他所預備的地方。
15:4 大衛又聚集亞倫的子孫和利未人。
15:5 哥轄子孫中有族長烏列和他的弟兄一百二十人。
15:6 米拉利子孫中有族長亞帥雅和他的弟兄二百二十人。
15:7 革順子孫中有族長約珥和他的弟兄一百三十人。
15:8 以利撒反子孫中有族長示瑪雅和他的弟兄二百人。
15:9 希伯崙子孫中有族長以列和他的弟兄八十人。
15:10 烏薛子孫中有族長亞米拿達和他的弟兄一百一十二人。
15:11 大衛將祭司撒督和亞比亞他，並利未人烏列、亞帥雅、約珥、示瑪雅、以列、亞米拿達召來，
15:12 對他們說：「你們是利未人的族長，你們和你們的弟兄應當自潔，好將耶和華─以色列上帝的約櫃抬到我所預備的地方。
15:13 因你們先前沒有抬這約櫃，按定例求問耶和華─我們的上帝，所以他刑罰（原文是闖殺）我們。」
15:14 於是祭司利未人自潔，好將耶和華─以色列上帝的約櫃抬上來。
15:15 利未子孫就用槓，肩抬上帝的約櫃，是照耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的。
15:16 大衛吩咐利未人的族長，派他們歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和鈸作樂，歡歡喜喜地大聲歌頌。
15:17 於是利未人派約珥的兒子希幔和他弟兄中比利家的兒子亞薩，並他們族弟兄米拉利子孫裡古沙雅的兒子以探。
15:18 其次還有他們的弟兄撒迦利雅、便‧雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅，並守門的俄別‧以東和耶利。
15:19 這樣，派歌唱的希幔、亞薩、以探敲銅鈸，大發響聲；
15:20 派撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、瑪西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，調用女音；
15:21 又派瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、俄別‧以東、耶利、亞撒西雅領首彈琴，調用第八。
15:22 利未人的族長基拿尼雅是歌唱人的首領，又教訓人歌唱，因為他精通此事。
15:23 比利家、以利加拿是約櫃前守門的。
15:24 祭司示巴尼、約沙法、拿坦業、亞瑪賽、撒迦利雅、比拿亞、以利以謝在上帝的約櫃前吹號。俄別‧以東和耶希亞也是約櫃前守門的。
15:25 於是，大衛和以色列的長老，並千夫長都去從俄別‧以東的家歡歡喜喜地將耶和華的約櫃抬上來。
15:26 上帝賜恩與抬耶和華約櫃的利未人，他們就獻上七隻公牛，七隻公羊。
15:27 大衛和抬約櫃的利未人，並歌唱人的首領基拿尼雅，以及歌唱的人，都穿著細麻布的外袍；大衛另外穿著細麻布的以弗得。
15:28 這樣，以色列眾人歡呼吹角、吹號、敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，大發響聲，將耶和華的約櫃抬上來。
15:29 耶和華的約櫃進了大衛城的時候，掃羅的女兒米甲從窗戶裡觀看，見大衛王踴躍跳舞，心裡就輕視他。
After David had constructed buildings for himself in the City of David, he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it. 2 Then David said, “No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the Lord chose them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister before him forever.”
3 David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord to the place he had prepared for it. 4 He called together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:
5 From the descendants of Kohath,
Uriel the leader and 120 relatives;
6 from the descendants of Merari,
Asaiah the leader and 220 relatives;
7 from the descendants of Gershon,[a]
Joel the leader and 130 relatives;
8 from the descendants of Elizaphan,
Shemaiah the leader and 200 relatives;
9 from the descendants of Hebron,
Eliel the leader and 80 relatives;
10 from the descendants of Uzziel,
Amminadab the leader and 112 relatives.
11 Then David summoned Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel and Amminadab the Levites. 12 He said to them, “You are the heads of the Levitical families; you and your fellow Levites are to consecrate yourselves and bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it. 13 It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way.” 14 So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves in order to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel. 15 And the Levites carried the ark of God with the poles on their shoulders, as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of the Lord.
16 David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their fellow Levites as musicians to make a joyful sound with musical instruments: lyres, harps and cymbals.
17 So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel; from his relatives, Asaph son of Berekiah; and from their relatives the Merarites, Ethan son of Kushaiah; 18 and with them their relatives next in rank: Zechariah,[b] Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel,[c] the gatekeepers.
19 The musicians Heman, Asaph and Ethan were to sound the bronze cymbals; 20 Zechariah, Jaaziel,[d] Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah and Benaiah were to play the lyres according to alamoth,[e] 21 and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel and Azaziah were to play the harps, directing according to sheminith.[f] 22 Kenaniah the head Levite was in charge of the singing; that was his responsibility because he was skillful at it.
23 Berekiah and Elkanah were to be doorkeepers for the ark. 24 Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah and Eliezer the priests were to blow trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-Edom and Jehiah were also to be doorkeepers for the ark.
25 So David and the elders of Israel and the commanders of units of a thousand went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obed-Edom, with rejoicing. 26 Because God had helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, seven bulls and seven rams were sacrificed. 27 Now David was clothed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and as were the musicians, and Kenaniah, who was in charge of the singing of the choirs. David also wore a linen ephod. 28 So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouts, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and of cymbals, and the playing of lyres and harps.
29 As the ark of the covenant of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in her heart.

大衛用正確的方式將約櫃接回耶路撒冷。
這也提醒我們，事奉上帝是照上帝的方式，不是照我們熱心的想像方式！
不照上帝的心意，即使再熱心事奉，也不蒙上帝賜福，有時反而帶來災禍！
