出埃及記23:10-13

23:10 「六年你要耕種田地，收藏土產，
23:11 只是第七年要叫地歇息，不耕不種，使你民中的窮人有吃的；他們所剩下的，野獸可以吃。你的葡萄園和橄欖園也要照樣辦理。
23:12 「六日你要做工，第七日要安息，使牛、驢可以歇息，並使你婢女的兒子和寄居的都可以舒暢。
23:13 「凡我對你們說的話，你們要謹守。別神的名，你不可提，也不可從你口中傳說。」

¹⁰ “For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, ¹¹ but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what is left. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.
¹² “Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed.
¹³ “Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.

    「安息」是上帝要以色列人享受源源不竭的資源的秘訣，大自然的事物都要讓他們休養生息，不可以一直消耗，最後會枯竭無法使用！正如這裡所說：「六年你要耕種田地，收藏土產，只是第七年要叫地歇息，不耕不種，使你民中的窮人有吃的；他們所剩下的，野獸可以吃。你的葡萄園和橄欖園也要照樣辦理。」「六日你要做工，第七日要安息，使牛、驢可以歇息，並使你婢女的兒子和寄居的都可以舒暢」。

    人要休息，大自然也要休息，家裡的牲畜要休息，土地也要休息！而這休息藉是安息的意思，要安息才能夠長長久久！正如俗話說：「休息是為了走更遠的路」，沒有休息就沒有動力延續下去！

    而安息更是對上帝的敬畏，正如詩篇46篇10節說：「你們要休息，要知道我是上帝！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。」

出埃及記23:1-9

23:1 「不可隨夥佈散謠言；不可與惡人連手妄作見證。
23:2 不可隨眾行惡；不可在爭訟的事上隨眾偏行，作見證屈枉正直；
23:3 也不可在爭訟的事上偏護窮人。
23:4 「若遇見你仇敵的牛或驢失迷了路，總要牽回來交給他。
23:5 若看見恨你人的驢壓臥在重馱之下，不可走開，務要和驢主一同抬開重馱。
23:6 「不可在窮人爭訟的事上屈枉正直。
23:7 當遠離虛假的事。不可殺無辜和有義的人，因我必不以惡人為義。
23:8 不可受賄賂；因為賄賂能叫明眼人變瞎了，又能顛倒義人的話。
23:9 「不可欺壓寄居的；因為你們在埃及地作過寄居的，知道寄居的心。」

“Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness.

² “Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, ³ and do not show favoritism to a poor person in a lawsuit.
⁴ “If you come across your enemy’s ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it. ⁵ If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it.
⁶ “Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits. ⁷ Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.
⁸ “Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent.
⁹ “Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt.

    「法律」是要人人平等，除了為了正義的緣故，更是要展現憐憫！正如這裡的律例在字裡行間充滿著憐憫，不可以讓仇恨和多數暴力來操控，才能夠保護到應該保護的人！

     所已一個處理人民事務的判官不是要以使入罪為目的，而是要保護那些受欺壓的人為目的。讓百姓是在法律的保護下，能夠得著生活和生命的延續，讓上帝的榮耀永遠遍滿全地！

    親愛的弟兄姐妹，在這個講求民主與自由的時代，更是要盼望更多人受到保護與照顧，讓每個人都能夠發揮所長，安居樂業，來榮耀上帝並且使人得益處，這也是上帝的兒女扮演公民的角色要完成的！

箴言28:1

惡人雖無人追趕也逃跑；義人卻膽壯像獅子。

The wicked flee though no one pursues,
    but the righteous are as bold as a lion..

    惡人和義人的差別在哪裡呢？就是在於心中有沒有上帝，是不是以上帝為心中的主宰！這是很重要的，因為上帝在造人之初是用自己的形象和樣式造人，就是以人為祂愛的對象，並且要人以祂為永遠的倚靠！

    然而人類的祖先亞當與夏娃犯罪之後，罪就轄制人，以致於使人成為沒有上帝的惡人，所以隨時生活在恐懼之中，正如創世記3章8 節所說：「天起了涼風，耶和華上帝在園中行走。那人和他妻子聽見上帝的聲音，就藏在園裡的樹木中，躲避耶和華上帝的面。」

    可見人犯罪之後，一直在躲避上帝。可是上帝卻在尋找人，正如創世記3章9-10節中說到上帝與人的對話：「耶和華上帝呼喚那人，對他說：『你在哪裡？』他說：『我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我便藏了。』」

    親愛的弟兄姐妹，雖然如此，上帝早在創世以前就設立救恩，使我們靠耶穌基督成為義人。正如以弗所書1章4-6節說：「就如上帝從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；又因愛我們，就按著自己的意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裡所賜給我們的。」

    主耶穌也輕柔對我們說：「看哪，我站在門外叩門，若有聽見我聲音就開門的，我要進到他那裡去，我與他，他與我一同坐席。得勝的，我要賜他在我寶座上與我同坐，就如我得了勝，在我父的寶座上與他同坐一般。」（啟示錄3:20-21）

出埃及記22:16-31

22:16 「人若引誘沒有受聘的處女，與她行淫，他總要交出聘禮，娶她為妻。
22:17 若女子的父親決不肯將女子給他，他就要按處女的聘禮，交出錢來。
22:18 「行邪術的女人，不可容她存活。
22:19 「凡與獸淫合的，總要把他治死。
22:20 「祭祀別神，不單單祭祀耶和華的，那人必要滅絕。
22:21 「不可虧負寄居的，也不可欺壓他，因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的。
22:22 不可苦待寡婦和孤兒；
22:23 若是苦待他們一點，他們向我一哀求，我總要聽他們的哀聲，
22:24 並要發烈怒，用刀殺你們，使你們的妻子為寡婦，兒女為孤兒。
22:25 「我民中有貧窮人與你同住，你若借錢給他，不可如放債的向他取利。
22:26 你即或拿鄰舍的衣服作當頭，必在日落以先歸還他；
22:27 因他只有這一件當蓋頭，是他蓋身的衣服，若是沒有，他拿甚麼睡覺呢？他哀求我，我就應允，因為我是有恩惠的。
22:28 「不可毀謗上帝；也不可毀謗你百姓的官長。
22:29 「你要從你莊稼中的穀和酒醡中滴出來的酒拿來獻上，不可遲延。「你要將頭生的兒子歸給我。
22:30 你牛羊頭生的，也要這樣；七天當跟著母，第八天要歸給我。
22:31 「你們要在我面前為聖潔的人。因此，田間被野獸撕裂牲畜的肉，你們不可吃，要丟給狗吃。」

 ¹⁶ “If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. ¹⁷ If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgins.
¹⁸ “Do not allow a sorceress to live.
¹⁹ “Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal is to be put to death.
²⁰ “Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the Lord must be destroyed.^[e]
21 “Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt.
²² “Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. ²³ If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. ²⁴ My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.
²⁵ “If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest. ²⁶ If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge, return it by sunset, ²⁷ because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in? When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.
²⁸ “Do not blaspheme God^[f] or curse the ruler of your people.
²⁹ “Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats.^[g]
“You must give me the firstborn of your sons. ³⁰ Do the same with your cattle and your sheep. Let them stay with their mothers for seven days, but give them to me on the eighth day.
³¹ “You are to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of an animal torn by wild beasts; throw it to the dogs.

    「你們要在我面前為聖潔的人」，這是上帝對以色列人的要求，而且是很種要的命令！因為上帝從萬民中拯救以色列人的目的，就是要讓他們成為聖潔的國度，與其他的民族有所分別！

    同樣上帝在末世，透過耶穌基督拯救我們，也是要成為聖潔，屬乎上帝的子民！正如彼得前書2章9節所說：「惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬上帝的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。」

    然而我們是怎樣成為聖潔的呢？是上帝在基督裡賜給我們的，正如以弗所書1章4節所說：「就如上帝從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；」又如5章26-27節所說：「要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。」

    也因此，我們要用上帝的道讓自己成為聖潔，也就是說我們要常常讓上帝的話作工在我們的心中，讓我們越來越有上帝兒子的榮形，如此我們就聖潔了！
