4:5 你們當傳揚在猶大，宣告在耶路撒冷說：你們當在國中吹角，高聲呼叫說：你們當聚集！我們好進入堅固城！
4:6 應當向錫安豎立大旗。要逃避，不要遲延，因我必使災禍與大毀滅從北方來到。
4:7 有獅子從密林中上來，是毀壞列國的。牠已經動身出離本處，要使你的地荒涼，使你的城邑變為荒場無人居住。
4:8 因此，你們當腰束麻布，大聲哀號，因為耶和華的烈怒沒有向我們轉消。
4:9 耶和華說：「到那時，君王和首領的心都要消滅；祭司都要驚奇，先知都要詫異。」
4:10 我說：「哀哉！主耶和華啊，你真是大大地欺哄這百姓和耶路撒冷，說：『你們必得平安』。其實刀劍害及性命了。」
5 Declare in Judah, and proclaim in
Jerusalem, and say,
"Blow the trumpet through the land;
cry aloud and say,
'Assemble, and let us go
into the fortified cities! '
6 Raise a standard toward Zion,
flee for safety, stay not,
for I bring disaster from the north,
and
great destruction.
7 A lion has gone up from his thicket,
a destroyer of nations has set out;
he has gone out from his place
to make your land a waste;
your cities will be ruins
without inhabitant.
8 For this put on sackcloth,
lament and wail,
for the fierce anger of the Lord
has not turned back from us."
9 "In that day, declares the Lord,
courage shall fail both king and officials. The priests shall be appalled and
the prophets astounded." 10 Then I said, "Ah, Lord God, surely you
have utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, 'It shall be well with
you,' whereas the sword has reached their very life."

先知在這裡宣告這事，事要猶大國的上上下下都要真心悔改，不可聽信假先知的話！人若沒有離棄罪惡，歸向上帝，是無法獲得真正的平安，必定會遭受到災害，因為罪惡使上帝不保護與賜福！
同樣，今日我們唯有透過耶穌基督與上帝，重新建立正確合宜的關係，我們才會享受到永生之福！才可以稱為上帝的兒女，才能在今生享受上帝同在，在永生進入上帝的國！
讓我們從一切的謊言和欺騙出來，唯有耶穌基督是道路、真理和生命，唯有藉由耶穌基督才能到父家中，享受上帝要賜給我們的永生之福！這一切，只有在基督裡才可以得著！
