耶利米書18:18-23

18:18 他們就說：「來吧！我們可以設計謀害耶利米；因為我們有祭司講律法，智慧人設謀略，先知說預言，都不能斷絕。來吧！我們可以用舌頭擊打他，不要理會他的一切話。」

18:19 耶和華啊，求你理會我，且聽那些與我爭競之人的話。

18:20 豈可以惡報善呢？他們竟挖坑要害我的性命！求你記念我怎樣站在你面前為他們代求，要使你的忿怒向他們轉消。

18:21 故此，願你將他們的兒女交與饑荒和刀劍；願他們的妻無子，且作寡婦；又願他們的男人被死亡所滅，他們的少年人在陣上被刀擊殺。

18:22 你使敵軍忽然臨到他們的時候，願人聽見哀聲從他們的屋內發出；因他們挖坑要捉拿我，暗設網羅要絆我的腳。

18:23 耶和華啊，他們要殺我的那一切計謀，你都知道。不要赦免他們的罪孽，也不要從你面前塗抹他們的罪惡，要叫他們在你面前跌倒；願你發怒的時候罰辦他們。

​NThen they said, “Come, let us make plots against Jeremiah, for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, let us strike him with the tongue, and let us not pay attention to any of his words.”

  Hear me, O Lord,

and listen to the voice of my adversaries.

  Should good be repaid with evil?

Yet they have dug a pit for my life.

Remember how I stood before you

to speak good for them,

to turn away your wrath from them.

  Therefore deliver up their children to famine;

give them over to the power of the sword;

let their wives become childless and widowed.

May their men meet death by pestilence,

their youths be struck down by the sword in battle.

  May a cry be heard from their houses,

when you bring the plunderer suddenly upon them!

For they have dug a pit to take me

and laid snares for my feet.

  Yet you, O Lord, know

all their plotting to kill me.

Forgive not their iniquity,

nor blot out their sin from your sight.

Let them be overthrown before you;

deal with them in the time of your anger.

    由這一段耶利米要求的報應可以看出耶利米真的是氣到極點。我們是不需要過度指責先知沒有愛心，有時候我們很生氣時也會一樣的失去理性，況且遇到恩將仇報的事情，任誰都會憤怒不已的。

    由先知耶利米的反應，也可以感受到許多牧者在事奉中遇到的衝突，使他們的心靈同樣受到極大的傷害，以至於不願意再繼續牧會，寧可放棄在他們身上的呼召！這對教會和牧者本身是鐸模大的損失啊！

     懇求上帝醫治他的僕人們，也讓這些傷兵在受傷之後，得著上帝的醫治，可以繼續回到牧會的工場，使上帝的子民不至於斷糧！就像今日到台中某教會時，讓我感覺到教會設立了60年，應該是年輕的，但是卻感受到那教會是多麼衰老的感覺，之所以如此，就是沒有牧者在他們中間！求主保守，讓我能在他們中間，將上帝的活水泉帶給他們！

耶利米書18:11-17

18:11 現在你要對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說：『耶和華如此說：我造出災禍攻擊你們，定意刑罰你們。你們各人當回頭離開所行的惡道，改正你們的行動作為。』

18:12 「他們卻說：『這是枉然。我們要照自己的計謀去行。』各人隨自己頑梗的惡心做事。」

18:13 所以，耶和華如此說：你們且往各國訪問，有誰聽見這樣的事？以色列民（原文是處女）行了一件極可憎惡的事。

18:14 黎巴嫩的雪從田野的磐石上豈能斷絕呢？從遠處流下的涼水豈能乾涸呢？

18:15 我的百姓竟忘記我，向假神燒香，使他們在所行的路上，在古道上絆跌，使他們行沒有修築的斜路，

18:16 以致他們的地令人驚駭，常常嗤笑；凡經過這地的必驚駭搖頭。

18:17 我必在仇敵面前分散他們，好像用東風吹散一樣。遭難的日子，我必以背向他們，不以面向他們。

​Now, therefore, say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: ‘Thus says the Lord, Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Return, every one from his evil way, and amend your ways and your deeds.’

  “But they say, That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.’

  “Therefore thus says the Lord:

Ask among the nations,

Who has heard the like of this?

The virgin Israel

has done a very horrible thing.

  Does the snow of Lebanon leave

the crags of Sirion?

Do the mountain waters run dry,

the cold flowing streams?

  But my people have forgotten me;

they make offerings to false gods;

they made them stumble in their ways,

in the ancient roads,

and to walk into side roads,

not the highway,

  making their land a horror,

a thing to be hissed at forever.

Everyone who passes by it is horrified

and shakes his head.

  Like the east wind I will scatter them

before the enemy.

I will show them my back, not my face,

in the day of their calamity.”

    先知耶利米在此宣告猶大人若不願意悔改，將遭受到耶和華上帝大大懲罰，並且受到世人的唾棄，上帝也一定會讓他們在敵人面前敗亡，使他們受到大大的羞辱！

    上帝透過猶大百姓的失敗，來警戒我們，若是要享受上帝在基督裡的救恩，我們也必須悔改，離棄過去的罪惡，透過主耶穌的救贖大功來親近上帝，聖靈也必將這樣的拯救實踐在我們這些願意悔改的人身上的！

    親愛的弟兄姊妹，我們若是感受到上帝這樣的慈愛與拯救，就讓我們順從聖靈的工作，快快悔改親近主！使我們真正活出上帝兒女該有的樣式，這更是上帝在我們身上動工的展現！你願意放下自己，讓上帝做成在你身上嗎？

耶利米書18:1-10

18:1 耶和華的話臨到耶利米說：

18:2 「你起來，下到窯匠的家裡去，我在那裡要使你聽我的話。」

18:3 我就下到窯匠的家裡去，正遇他轉輪做器皿。

18:4 窯匠用泥做的器皿，在他手中做壞了，他又用這泥另做別的器皿；窯匠看怎樣好，就怎樣做。

18:5 耶和華的話就臨到我說：

18:6 耶和華說：「以色列家啊，我待你們，豈不能照這窯匠弄泥嗎？以色列家啊，泥在窯匠的手中怎樣，你們在我的手中也怎樣。

18:7 我何時論到一邦或一國說，要拔出、拆毀、毀壞；

18:8 我所說的那一邦，若是轉意離開他們的惡，我就必後悔，不將我想要施行的災禍降與他們。

18:9 我何時論到一邦或一國說，要建立、栽植；

18:10 他們若行我眼中看為惡的事，不聽從我的話，我就必後悔，不將我所說的福氣賜給他們。

​The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:  “Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will let you hear my words.”  So I went down to the potter's house, and there he was working at his wheel.  And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.

  Then the word of the Lord came to me:  “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.  If at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom, that I will pluck up and break down and destroy it,  and if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I intended to do to it.  And if at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will build and plant it,  and if it does evil in my sight, not listening to my voice, then I will relent of the good that I had intended to do to it.

    上帝要先知耶利米藉由窯匠來說明，在上帝的手中有主權，祂可以如同窯匠隨己意來製作陶器，正如在這裡所說：「窯匠用泥做的器皿，在他手中做壞了，他又用這泥另做別的器皿；窯匠看怎樣好，就怎樣做。」

    雖然如此，上帝仍然給人一條路走，這個路就是：悔改－聽從上帝的話！這是人改變命運的契機，正如7-10節所說的。本是要面臨「拔出、拆毀、毀壞」的，卻改變成脫離災禍；面臨「建立、栽植」的，反倒失去上帝所要賜予的福氣！

    這樣的差異在於人願不願意悔改－聽從上帝的話！而這樣的悔改契機，就是願不願意以靠耶穌基督的拯救，與上帝建立正確合宜的關係！這就是整本聖經信息中心，我們就是在這樣的恩典中。
