希伯來書3:12-19

3:12 弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得你們中間或有人存著不信的惡心，把永生上帝離棄了。
3:13 總要趁著還有今日，天天彼此相勸，免得你們中間有人被罪迷惑，心裡就剛硬了。
3:14 我們若將起初確實的信心堅持到底，就在基督裡有分了。
3:15 經上說：「你們今日若聽他的話，就不可硬著心，像惹他發怒的日子一樣。」
3:16 那時，聽見他話惹他發怒的是誰呢？豈不是跟著摩西從埃及出來的眾人嗎？
3:17 上帝四十年之久，又厭煩誰呢？豈不是那些犯罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？
3:18 又向誰起誓，不容他們進入他的安息呢？豈不是向那些不信從的人嗎？
3:19 這樣看來，他們不能進入安息是因為不信的緣故了。

¹² See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. ¹³ But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. ¹⁴ We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. ¹⁵ As has just been said:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
    do not harden your hearts
    as you did in the rebellion.”^[c]

¹⁶ Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? ¹⁷ And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? ¹⁸ And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? ¹⁹ So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

    《希伯來書》之段教訓是來自《詩篇》95篇7-11節，《詩篇》在這當中引用了兩個地名：「米利巴」（原意是「紛爭」）和「瑪撒」（原意是「試驗」）。這正是當年以色列在曠野的寫照。

    然而為什麼會「紛爭」和「試驗」是出於「不信」，也就是悖逆上帝，必以上帝為心中的首位，而是以自己做心中的首位。自以為是、自以為義、自意為有，而不知其實是：一無所是、一無所有、一無可誇！

    也因此，人要信靠與敬畏上帝；並且承認意一切的財富和才能，都是上帝所賜的，都是從上帝而來的！要接受聖靈的光照，知道自己是有罪的，是不義的，永遠需要靠耶穌基督的寶血，不是靠自己或聖徒有什麼善行，那些是無法讓自己得救的！

希伯來書3:7-11

3:7 聖靈有話說：你們今日若聽他的話，
3:8 就不可硬著心，像在曠野惹他發怒、試探他的時候一樣。
3:9 在那裡，你們的祖宗試我探我，並且觀看我的作為有四十年之久。
3:10 所以，我厭煩那世代的人，說：他們心裡常常迷糊，竟不曉得我的作為！
3:11 我就在怒中起誓說：他們斷不可進入我的安息。

⁷ So, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
⁸     do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
    during the time of testing in the wilderness,
⁹ where your ancestors tested and tried me,
    though for forty years they saw what I did.
¹⁰ That is why I was angry with that generation;
    I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
    and they have not known my ways.’
¹¹ So I declared on oath in my anger,
    ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”

    聖靈在此警告：「你們今日若聽他的話，就不可硬著心，像在曠野惹他發怒、試探他的時候一樣。在那裡，你們的祖宗試我探我，並且觀看我的作為有四十年之久。」

    其實在這裡說的「惹他發怒」，其實應該翻譯成「像在背逆中」，也就是不願意順服上帝的旨意的意思。而悖逆最明顯的表現就是「自我中心」，認為自己最好、最棒，永遠是對的！所以，人要脫離這樣的狀況，必須要承認自己不是永遠是對的，要聽聽別人的意見，要傾聽上帝的聲音。

    除了不要自我中心之外，更不可以存不信的心，也就是說不認真遵行上帝的話，只把上帝的話當成參考用，認為上帝的命令是眾選項中的一項，不是必要尊守的，常常自做主張、自以為有智慧，不需要上帝的引導！

    也因為這樣，上帝厭惡那世代的人，所以上帝宣告：「他們心裡常常迷糊，竟不曉得我的作為！我就在怒中起誓說，他們斷不可進入我的安息。」

    可見人要得真正的安息，就必須要對主有信靠與敬畏的心，要自我否定，讓上帝的心意為我們的心意，不是上帝或別人要順我們的心意，這樣我們才能與上帝、和人之間都有何好的關係，才能享安息！

希伯來書3:1-6

3:1 同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，你們應當思想我們所認為使者、為大祭司的耶穌。
3:2 他為那設立他的盡忠，如同摩西在上帝的全家盡忠一樣。
3:3 他比摩西算是更配多得榮耀，好像建造房屋的比房屋更尊榮；
3:4 因為房屋都必有人建造，但建造萬物的就是上帝。
3:5 摩西為僕人，在上帝的全家誠然盡忠，為要證明將來必傳說的事。
3:6 但基督為兒子，治理上帝的家；我們若將可誇的盼望和膽量堅持到底，便是他的家了。

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. ² He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house. ³ Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. ⁴ For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. ⁵ “Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house,” bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. ⁶ But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

    摩西在以色列人的心目中，是將他們的祖先從埃及為奴之地帶出來的偉人。不僅如此，也是將上帝的律例和法則傳給他們祖先的人，正如經文在這裡所敘述的，「摩西為僕人，在上帝的全家誠然盡忠，為要證明將來必傳說的事」。

    然而主耶穌和摩西卻有很大的差別，正如經文所說：「他比摩西算是更配多得榮耀，好像建造房屋的比房屋更尊榮；因為房屋都必有人建造，但建造萬物的就是上帝」。這也就是說摩西是被造的，耶穌基督卻是創造主！所以，耶穌基督比摩西更尊貴，「但基督為兒子，治理上帝的家」。

    既然如此，我們要尊敬耶穌基督超越過摩西。因為摩西只不過是人；而耶穌基督是完全的上帝，也是完全的人！這是希伯來書的作者要宣告的事實，我們的主耶穌也真的是比一切的偉人都高超！
