箴言22:7

富戶管轄窮人;欠債的是債主的僕人。

 

The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.

    十幾年前在高榮禮拜堂時,有位弟兄是中央大學之教授,那時他剛歸國任教,在高級住宅區租屋費用很高,問他怎麼不買棟房子呢?他回答︰「先存夠錢再購屋。」

 

    再進一步詢問他為何如此,他回答︰「欠債的是債主的僕人。」

 

    現在想起,真的是如此,向銀行貸款,時間到了未入款,會被催繳。欠信用卡之債務,最後變“卡奴”,所有之努力全拿去還債。

 

    欠地下錢莊錢更是恐怖,除了利息高,還遭黑道討債,聽說是為達目的,甚麼手段都會使用出來,更是成了奴隸還不如!

 

    所以,不要借貸來的好,凡事量入為出為宜。

 

約翰福音12:20-33

12:20 那時上來過節禮拜的人中,有幾個希利尼人,

12:21 他們來見加利利伯賽大的腓力,求他說:「先生,我們願意見耶穌。」

12:22 腓力去告訴安得烈,安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。

12:23 耶穌說:「人子得榮耀的時候到了。

12:24 我實實在在地告訴你們,一粒麥子不落在地裏死了,仍舊是一粒,若是死了,就結出許多子粒來;

12:25 愛惜自己生命的,就失喪生命,在這世上恨惡自己生命的,就要保守生命到永生。

12:26 若有人服事我,就當跟從我,我在哪裏,服事我的人也要在那裏;若有人服事我,我父必尊重他。

12:27 我現在心裏憂愁,我說甚麼才好呢?父啊,救我脫離這時候,但我原是為這時候來的。

12:28 父啊,願你榮耀了你的名!」當時,就有聲音從天上來,說:「我已經榮耀了我的名,還要再榮耀。」

12:29 站在旁邊的眾人聽見,就說:「打雷了!」還有人說:「有天使對他說話。」

12:30 耶穌說:「這聲音不是為我,是為你們來的,

12:31 現在這世界受審判,這世界的王要被趕出去;

12:32 我若從地上被舉起來,就要吸引萬人來歸我。」

12:33 耶穌這話原是指著自己將要怎樣死說的。

    耶穌這時明白自己將要怎樣死,但是祂的死卻要帶來生命,正如一粒麥子不落在地裏死了,仍舊是一粒,若是死了,就結出許多子粒來。

 

    耶穌在此鼓勵門徒要為真理、為福音擺上自己︰「愛惜自己生命的,就失喪生命,在這世上恨惡自己生命的,就要保守生命到永生。若有人服事我,就當跟從我,我在哪裏,服事我的人也要在那裏;若有人服事我,我父必尊重他。」

 

    我們要像保羅所說︰『我已經與基督同釘十字架,現在活著的不再是我,乃是基督在我裏面活著,並且我如今在肉身活著,是因信上帝的兒子而活;他是愛我,為我捨己。』(加拉太書220節)

 

『但我斷不以別的誇口,只誇我們主耶穌基督的十字架,因這十字架,就我而論,世界已經釘在十字架上;就世界而論,我已經釘在十字架上。』(加拉太書614節)

 

所以基督徒要天天思考“十字架”的意義,是對罪、世界和自己“死”,而對聖父、聖子和聖靈——三位一體之上帝“活”!

 

 

約翰福音7:20-24

7:20 眾人回答說:「你是被鬼附著了!誰想要殺你?」

7:21 耶穌說:「我作了一件事,你們都以為希奇,

7:22 摩西傳割禮給你們(其實不是從摩西起的,乃是從祖先起的),因此你們也在安息日給人行割禮;

7:23 人若在安息日受割禮,免得違背摩西的律法,我在安息日叫一個人全然好了,你們就向我生氣嗎?

7:24 不可按外貌斷定是非,總要按公平斷定是非。」

    “安息日”之爭議不僅在耶穌的那個時代,今日有些偏激教派(包括異端者)用此話題恐嚇和欺騙基督徒,相信主耶穌這段話對我們有幫助。

 

榮興於2008/08/20 02:47:29來留言︰『弟兄您好: 我是長老會的會友,因我對聖經不夠了解, 可是我很想反駁教會有個弟兄他說安息日改在禮拜天,我個人認為我們是在主日聚會敬拜神,而不是在守安息日吧! 現在的主日禮拜不等於守安息日吧! 這個問題困擾了我很久,我很多次都沒去主日,不過我都有參加青契(每個禮拜都有聚會) 之前他還翻舊約沒守安息日的人的下場給我看,害我覺得好難過喔……』

 

我的回覆︰『主耶穌已經將守安息日"之意義昇華為: 信靠祂的人才有真正的安息! 所以守安息日, 倒不如靠真理與聖靈來敬拜主, 得真正之安息, 而且上帝已藉由耶穌基督釘十字架, 使人與上帝之冤仇得消除, 所以在主耶穌裡有平安–永遠的安息! 是故, 不再受"安息日"之律法所限制, 而是以 聖靈之新樣敬拜主!』

 

希望我們可以靠主勝過這困擾!

111:1 你們要讚美耶和華!我要在正直人的大會中,並公會中,一心稱謝耶和華。
111:2
耶和華的作為本為大;凡喜愛的都必考察。
111:3
他所行的是尊榮和威嚴;他的公義存到永遠。
111:4
他行了奇事,使人記念;耶和華有恩惠,有憐憫。
111:5
他賜糧食給敬畏他的人;他必永遠記念他的約。
111:6
他向百姓顯出大能的作為,把外邦的地賜給他們為業。
111:7
他手所行的是誠實公平;他的訓詞都是確實的,
111:8
是永永遠遠堅定的,是按誠實正直設立的。
111:9
他向百姓施行救贖,命定他的約,直到永遠;他的名聖而可畏。
111:10
敬畏耶和華是智慧的開端;凡遵行他命令的是聰明人。耶和華是永遠當讚美的!

 

Praise the Lord.

I will extol the Lord with all my heart
    in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

Great are the works of the Lord;
    they are pondered by all who delight in them.
Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
    and his righteousness endures forever.
He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
    the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
He provides food for those who fear him;
    he remembers his covenant forever.

He has shown his people the power of his works,
    giving them the lands of other nations.
The works of his hands are faithful and just;
    all his precepts are trustworthy.
They are established for ever and ever,
    enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
He provided redemption for his people;
    he ordained his covenant forever—
    holy and awesome is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
    all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
    To him belongs eternal praise.

    敬畏上帝的表現就是「讚美耶和華」,因為讚美耶和華才會尊上帝為大,才會高舉上帝,知道一切的權柄是屬乎耶和華上帝的,會紀念上帝不僅是創造主,更是救贖主!

 

    許多時候,人都想靠自己有一番作為,這是因為我們受到無神主義的影響,以為一切都是人自己的作為。甚至信主之後,要靠自己的義行來的上帝的喜歡,以為這樣才是完成上帝的拯救在我們身上!

 

    然而真正的得救,不是靠我們努力所得得功勞,也不是自己改變自己,而是要將自己交在上帝的手中,上帝會透過環境來磨練與考驗我們,使我們真正體會自己是軟弱無能,要不是耶穌基督在十字架上所完成的拯救,我們是沒有資格的,是沒有辦法得上帝的喜悅和獎賞!

 

    所以,真正敬畏上帝的人,是願意謙卑自己,不再靠自己的義,而是要靠基督在十字架上所完成的義!我們要承認自己是無用的僕人,一切的善行只不過是本分,得救完全是基督的作為!

士師記3章

士師記3:1-31

3:1 耶和華留下這幾族,為要試驗那不曾知道與迦南爭戰之事的以色列人,
3:2
好叫以色列的後代又知道又學習未曾曉得的戰事。
3:3
所留下的就是非利士的五個首領和一切迦南人、西頓人,並住黎巴嫩山的希未人,從巴力黑們山直到哈馬口。
3:4
留下這幾族,為要試驗以色列人,知道他們肯聽從耶和華藉摩西吩咐他們列祖的誡命不肯。
3:5
以色列人竟住在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中間,
3:6
娶他們的女兒為妻,將自己的女兒嫁給他們的兒子,並事奉他們的神。
3:7
以色列人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事,忘記耶和華他們的上帝,去事奉諸巴力和亞舍拉,
3:8
所以耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作,就把他們交在美索不達米亞王古珊利薩田的手中。以色列人服事古珊利薩田八年。
3:9
以色列人呼求耶和華的時候,耶和華就為他們興起一位拯救者救他們,就是迦勒兄弟基納斯的兒子俄陀聶。
3:10
耶和華的靈降在他身上,他就作了以色列的士師,出去爭戰。耶和華將美索不達米亞王古珊利薩田交在他手中,他便勝了古珊利薩田。
3:11
於是國中太平四十年。基納斯的兒子俄陀聶死了。
3:12
以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事,耶和華就使摩押王伊磯倫強盛,攻擊以色列人。
3:13
伊磯倫招聚亞捫人和亞瑪力人,去攻打以色列人,佔據棕樹城。
3:14
於是以色列人服事摩押王伊磯倫十八年。
3:15
以色列人呼求耶和華的時候,耶和華就為他們興起一位拯救者,就是便雅憫人基拉的兒子以笏;他是左手便利的。以色列人託他送禮物給摩押王伊磯倫。
3:16
以笏打了一把兩刃的劍,長一肘,帶在右腿上衣服裡面。
3:17
他將禮物獻給摩押王伊磯倫(原來伊磯倫極其肥胖);
3:18
以笏獻完禮物,便將抬禮物的人打發走了,
3:19
自己卻從靠近吉甲鑿石之地回來,說:「王啊,我有一件機密事奏告你。」王說:「迴避吧!」於是左右侍立的人都退去了。
3:20
以笏來到王面前;王獨自一人坐在涼樓上。以笏說:「我奉上帝的命報告你一件事。」王就從座位上站起來。

以笏便伸左手,從右腿上拔出劍來,刺入王的肚腹,
3:22
連劍把都刺進去了。劍被肥肉夾住,他沒有從王的肚腹拔出來,且穿通了後身。
3:23
以笏就出到遊廊,將樓門盡都關鎖。
3:24
以笏出來之後,王的僕人到了,看見樓門關鎖,就說:「他必是在樓上大解。」
3:25
他們等煩了,見仍不開樓門,就拿鑰匙開了,不料,他們的主人已死,倒在地上。
3:26
他們耽延的時候,以笏就逃跑了,經過鑿石之地,逃到西伊拉;
3:27
到了,就在以法蓮山地吹角。以色列人隨著他下了山地,他在前頭引路,
3:28
對他們說:「你們隨我來,因為耶和華已經把你們的仇敵摩押人交在你們手中。」於是他們跟著他下去,把守約旦河的渡口,不容摩押一人過去。
3:29
那時擊殺了摩押人約有一萬,都是強壯的勇士,沒有一人逃脫。
3:30
這樣,摩押就被以色列人制伏了。國中太平八十年。
3:31
以笏之後,有亞拿的兒子珊迦,他用趕牛的棍子打死六百非利士人。他也救了以色列人。

 

These are the nations the Lord left to test all those Israelites who had not experienced any of the wars in Canaan (he did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience): the five rulers of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites living in the Lebanon mountains from Mount Baal Hermon to Lebo Hamath. They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord’s commands, which he had given their ancestors through Moses.

The Israelites lived among the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. They took their daughters in marriage and gave their own daughters to their sons, and served their gods.

Othniel

The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord; they forgot the Lord their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs. The anger of the Lord burned against Israel so that he sold them into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram Naharaim,[a] to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years. But when they cried out to the Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, who saved them. 10 The Spirit of the Lord came on him, so that he became Israel’s judge[b] and went to war. The Lord gave Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram into the hands of Othniel, who overpowered him. 11 So the land had peace for forty years, until Othniel son of Kenaz died.

Ehud

12 Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and because they did this evil the Lord gave Eglon king of Moab power over Israel. 13 Getting the Ammonites and Amalekites to join him, Eglon came and attacked Israel, and they took possession of the City of Palms.[c] 14 The Israelites were subject to Eglon king of Moab for eighteen years.

15 Again the Israelites cried out to the Lord, and he gave them a deliverer—Ehud, a left-handed man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. The Israelites sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab. 16 Now Ehud had made a double-edged sword about a cubit[d] long, which he strapped to his right thigh under his clothing. 17 He presented the tribute to Eglon king of Moab, who was a very fat man. 18 After Ehud had presented the tribute, he sent on their way those who had carried it. 19 But on reaching the stone images near Gilgal he himself went back to Eglon and said, “Your Majesty, I have a secret message for you.”

The king said to his attendants, “Leave us!” And they all left.

20 Ehud then approached him while he was sitting alone in the upper room of his palace[e] and said, “I have a message from God for you.” As the king rose from his seat, 21 Ehud reached with his left hand, drew the sword from his right thigh and plunged it into the king’s belly. 22 Even the handle sank in after the blade, and his bowels discharged. Ehud did not pull the sword out, and the fat closed in over it. 23 Then Ehud went out to the porch[f]; he shut the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them.

24 After he had gone, the servants came and found the doors of the upper room locked. They said, “He must be relieving himself in the inner room of the palace.” 25 They waited to the point of embarrassment, but when he did not open the doors of the room, they took a key and unlocked them. There they saw their lord fallen to the floor, dead.

26 While they waited, Ehud got away. He passed by the stone images and escaped to Seirah. 27 When he arrived there, he blew a trumpet in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went down with him from the hills, with him leading them.

28 “Follow me,” he ordered, “for the Lord has given Moab, your enemy, into your hands.” So they followed him down and took possession of the fords of the Jordan that led to Moab; they allowed no one to cross over. 29 At that time they struck down about ten thousand Moabites, all vigorous and strong; not one escaped. 30 That day Moab was made subject to Israel, and the land had peace for eighty years.

Shamgar

31 After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath, who struck down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel.

    在這一章的經文中我們看見三位士師:俄陀聶、以笏和珊迦,各自對抗不同的敵人,這些敵人都是因為以色列人遠離上帝,上帝興起這些外邦的王來管教以色列人。

 

    上帝這樣做是有原因的正如1-4節所說:「耶和華留下這幾族,為要試驗那不曾知道與迦南爭戰之事的以色列人,好叫以色列的後代又知道又學習未曾曉得的戰事。所留下的就是非利士的五個首領和一切迦南人、西頓人,並住黎巴嫩山的希未人,從巴力‧黑們山直到哈馬口。留下這幾族,為要試驗以色列人,知道他們肯聽從耶和華藉摩西吩咐他們列祖的誡命不肯。」

 

    這也就是說上帝藉由這些迦南人來考驗以色列人,有如老師出考題一般,或是長官要操練下屬,讓他們經過一些磨練之後,增強他們的信心和能力,使他們可以強壯起來!

 

    其實上帝何嘗不是如此鍛鍊祂的兒女,使祂的兒女們經過憂患的鍛鍊,去蕪存菁,鍛鍊出屬於上帝兒女的品格!因此,我們要成為貴重的器皿,就要勇於承受這樣的考驗,好能真正越來越有上帝兒女的樣式!
