2:6 至於那些有名望的，不論他是何等人，都與我無干。上帝不以外貌取人。那些有名望的，並沒有加增我甚麼，
2:7 反倒看見了主託我傳福音給那未受割禮的人，正如託彼得傳福音給那受割禮的人。
2:8 （那感動彼得、叫他為受割禮之人作使徒的，也感動我，叫我為外邦人作使徒；）
2:9 又知道所賜給我的恩典，那稱為教會柱石的雅各、磯法、約翰，就向我和巴拿巴用右手行相交之禮，叫我們往外邦人那裡去，他們往受割禮的人那裡去。
2:10 只是願意我們記念窮人；這也是我本來熱心去行的。
And the leaders of the church had nothing
to add to what I was preaching. (By the way, their reputation as great leaders
made no difference to me, for God has no favorites.) Instead, they saw that God
had given me the responsibility of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just
as he had given Peter the responsibility of preaching to the Jews. For the same
God who worked through Peter as the apostle to the Jews also worked through me
as the apostle to the Gentiles. In fact, James, Peter, and John, who were known
as pillars of the church, recognized the gift God had given me, and they
accepted Barnabas and me as their co-workers. They encouraged us to keep preaching
to the Gentiles, while they continued their work with the Jews. Their only
suggestion was that we keep on helping the poor, which I have always been eager
to do.

傳福音要靠聖靈，不是靠有名望的人。有名望的人並不會使福音加分，反而有名望的人要維持名望，要靠福音加分！
