馬太福音20:29-34

20:29 他們出耶利哥的時候，有極多的人跟隨他。

20:30 有兩個瞎子坐在路旁，聽說是耶穌經過，就喊著說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我們吧！」

20:31 眾人責備他們，不許他們作聲；他們卻越發喊著說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我們吧！」

20:32 耶穌就站住，叫他們來，說：「要我為你們做甚麼？」

20:33 他們說：「主啊，要我們的眼睛能看見！」

20:34 耶穌就動了慈心，把他們的眼睛一摸，他們立刻看見，就跟從了耶穌。

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.

30 And behold, two blind men were sitting by the wayside when they heard that Jesus was passing by, and they cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Thou Son of David!”

31 And the multitude rebuked them, that they should hold their peace; but they cried out the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Thou Son of David!”

32 And Jesus stood still, and called them and said, “What will ye that I shall do unto you?”

33 They said unto Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”

34 So Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

    耶利哥的兩個瞎子讓我們想到窮苦人的呼聲，然而他們的呼聲常常被壓抑，正如經文當中的描述。

    然而主耶穌仍然聽見，仍然注意他們的需要。所以，停下來問他們：「要我為你們做甚麼？」

    這也讓許多認為我們的生命是要付出給主的人十分震撼，主竟然反過來問人：「要我為你們做甚麼？」

    是的，換了是你，主向你說：「要我為你們做甚麼？」

    你要對主說什麼呢？

約翰福音6:29

耶穌回答說：「信上帝所差來的，這就是做上帝的工。」

Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

    主耶穌這段話給我們很大的提醒，尤其是我們以結果來論斷服事的好壞和成效之時，更是對我們當頭棒喝。因為做主的工，事只要信祂就算了！

    然而怎樣叫信耶穌呢？就是願意接受耶穌為救主、為生命的主，學習一生跟隨祂，為祂而活，好好讀聖經和禱告，參加聚會或禮拜，這樣就是信祂了，就是做主的工了。

    記得禮拜的英文是「worship」，就是服事的意思。所以，單單參加禮拜也是服是，因為我們在禮拜中都是祭司，都是服事者。

箴言27:9

膏油與香料使人心喜悅；朋友誠實的勸教也是如此甘美。

Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart,

    and the pleasantness of a friend

    springs from their heartfelt advice.

    箴言的作者用「膏油與香料」來比對「朋友誠實的勸教」，這是文學的筆法，但是事實上還是有些差距。只是用這樣的筆法鼓勵人聽朋友的忠告，雖然忠言逆耳，但是經過這樣的提醒，就不會排斥了！

    的確，我們若不能聽別人的勸告，對我們而言，那是十分可憐且可怕，因為我們可能會遭受到超過我們想像的危險。

    所以能聽朋友勸告是很重要的！

傳道書4:12

有人攻勝孤身一人，若有二人便能敵擋他；三股合成的繩子不容易折斷。

Though one may be overpowered,

    two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

    有另一版本的中文聖經將此句翻成：「遭遇攻擊，一人獨自不能抵擋，二人並肩就能對付。三股擰成的繩子不容易斷。」

    這讓我們看見團結是力量，所以在教會裡，弟兄姊妹要同心努力，要顧及別人，不可以單顧自己。上帝也希望大家，在基督裡彼此相愛。彼此同心合意建造主身體。

馬太福音6:19-21

6:19 「不要為自己積攢財寶在地上；地上有蟲子咬，能銹壞，也有賊挖窟窿來偷。

6:20 只要積攢財寶在天上；天上沒有蟲子咬，不能銹壞，也沒有賊挖窟窿來偷。

6:21 因為你的財寶在哪裡，你的心也在那裡。」

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

    主耶穌這段話的重點不在「財寶」，而是在於「心」。只是人心通常是被財寶吸引而忘記要將心在天上，就是上帝那裏。所以，主耶穌用幽默的語法說，要把財寶積在天上。其實，還是要打心放在天上，歸給上帝。

    你的心是不是歸給上帝？唯有將心歸給上帝的才能安穩度日，才有真正的平安與滿足。
