2:21 地土啊，不要懼怕；要歡喜快樂，因為耶和華行了大事。
2:22 田野的走獸啊，不要懼怕；因為，曠野的草發生，樹木結果，無花果樹、葡萄樹也都效力。
2:23 錫安的民哪，你們要快樂，為耶和華─你們的上帝歡喜；因他賜給你們合宜的秋雨，為你們降下甘霖，就是秋雨、春雨，和先前一樣。
2:24 禾場必滿了麥子；酒醡與油醡必有新酒和油盈溢。
2:25 我打發到你們中間的大軍隊，就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲，那些年所吃的，我要補還你們。
2:26 你們必多吃而得飽足，就讚美為你們行奇妙事之耶和華─你們上帝的名。我的百姓必永遠不致羞愧。
2:27 你們必知道我是在以色列中間，又知道我是耶和華─你們的上帝；在我以外並無別神。我的百姓必永遠不致羞愧。
21 "Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice,
for the Lord has done great things!
22 Fear not, you beasts of the field,
for the pastures of the wilderness are
green;
the
tree bears its fruit;
the fig tree and vine give their full
yield.
23 "Be glad, O children of Zion,
and rejoice in the Lord your God,
for he has given the early rain for your
vindication;
he has poured down for you abundant rain,
the
early and the latter rain, as before.
24 "The threshing floors shall be full
of grain;
the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 I will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the
hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my
great army, which I sent among you.
26 "You shall eat in plenty and be
satisfied,
and praise the name of the Lord your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
And my people shall never again be put to
shame.
27 You shall know that I am in the midst of
Israel,
and that I am the Lord your God and there
is none else.
And my people shall never again be put to
shame.

先知約珥在此說明上帝審判後的恩典，雖然經過審判，若是願意悔改，上帝就以新天新地之福來賜給願意歸向祂的人！
我們常常抱怨上帝好像驕縱惡人，讓惡人亨通，好像不懲罰惡人！殊不知惡人就是我們自己，殊不知我們也是常常悖逆上帝，行不公義的事，心中毫無憐憫。上帝透過審判讓我們知道，我們要悔改，祂不是樂意懲罰人，祂也不希望按自己形像造的人，受到地獄火湖的永遠之苦！
上帝盼望人悔改而得救，讓我們快快認罪，進而悔罪，最後離罪歸向上帝，祂已經為我們設立永遠的贖罪祭，就是耶穌基督將自己獻上，為我們死在十字架上，使我們從罪中被釋放，這是永遠的「新事」！從沒有哪一位神是如此行的！唯有真神上帝！
