14:1 過兩天是逾越節，又是除酵節，祭司長和文士想法子怎麼用詭計捉拿耶穌，殺他。
14:2 只是說：「當節的日子不可，恐怕百姓生亂。」
14:3 耶穌在伯大尼長大痲瘋的西門家裡坐席的時候，有一個女人拿著一玉瓶至貴的真哪噠香膏來，打破玉瓶，把膏澆在耶穌的頭上。
14:4 有幾個人心中很不喜悅，說：「何用這樣枉費香膏呢？
14:5 這香膏可以賣三十多兩銀子賙濟窮人。」他們就向那女人生氣。
14:6 耶穌說：「由她吧！為甚麼難為她呢？她在我身上做的是一件美事。
14:7 因為常有窮人和你們同在，要向他們行善隨時都可以；只是你們不常有我。
14:8 她所做的，是盡她所能的；她是為我安葬的事把香膏預先澆在我身上。
14:9 我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在甚麼地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所做的，以為記念。」
14:10 十二門徒之中，有一個加略人猶大去見祭司長，要把耶穌交給他們。
14:11 他們聽見就歡喜，又應許給他銀子；他就尋思如何得便把耶穌交給他們。
Now the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread were only two days away, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were scheming to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him. 2 “But not during the festival,” they said, “or the people may riot.”
3 While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.
4 Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, “Why this waste of perfume? 5 It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages[a] and the money given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly.
6 “Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 The poor you will always have with you,[b] and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. 8 She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. 9 Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”
10 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them. 11 They were delighted to hear this and promised to give him money. So he watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

主耶穌不僅面對文士、法利賽人和祭司這股外在的抵抗勢力，還要面對門徒中的反對力量！可怕的是在最後這兩股力量竟然聯合起來，一同要謀害主耶穌！因為他們都有自己的野心，主耶穌就是阻擋他們野心發展的絆腳石！因為他們不能也不可承認耶穌基督是主，他們唯有除去主耶穌，他們的野心才能實現！
也因為這樣，耶穌在伯大尼長大痲瘋的西門家裡坐席的時候，有一個女人拿著一玉瓶至貴的真哪噠香膏來，打破玉瓶，把膏澆在耶穌的頭上。有幾個人心中很不喜悅，說：「何用這樣枉費香膏呢？這香膏可以賣三十多兩銀子賙濟窮人。」他們就向那女人生氣！
他們不把主耶穌看為寶貴，才會有這樣的反應！想想我們跟隨主耶穌成為基督徒，是不是有看耶穌基督為至寶，還是別有所求呢？這些別有所求，就是前面所說的「野心」！我們蒙上帝恩典得救成為基督徒、上帝的兒女，就是要「與基督聯合」，要得著基督，正如保羅所說：「只是我先前以為與我有益的，我現在因基督都當作有損的。不但如此，我也將萬事當作有損的，因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事，看作糞土，為要得著基督！」(腓立比書3:7-8)
主耶穌面對有野心的門徒，勸他們說：「由她吧！為甚麼難為她呢？她在我身上做的是一件美事。因為常有窮人和你們同在，要向他們行善隨時都可以；只是你們不常有我。」
不僅如此，主耶穌也說到：「她所做的，是盡她所能的；她是為我安葬的事把香膏預先澆在我身上。我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在甚麼地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所做的，以為記念。」
讓我們效法這位婦人，將主耶穌看為我們一生的至寶，甚至付上一切都是為主耶穌！我們這樣做是不會浪費的，我們看重主耶穌，主耶穌也看我們為寶貝！能夠讓萬王之王看為寶貝，是多麼有福的人啊！
