以弗所書5:6-14

 

5:6 不要讓任何人用空口白話欺騙你們；正是為了這些事，上帝的忿怒要臨到悖逆的人身上。
5:7 所以，不要跟這些人來往。
5:8 你們原是在黑暗中，可是自從成為主的信徒，你們就在光明中。你們的生活必須像光明的人。
5:9 光明結出一切豐盛的果實，就是良善、正義，和真理。
5:10 要明辨甚麼是主所喜悅的事。
5:11 不可做別人在黑暗中所做那些無益的事，反而要把這種事揭發出來。
5:12 他們暗地裏所幹的勾當，連提一提都是很可恥的！
5:13 當一切的事被公開出來的時候，真相就顯露了，
5:14 因為凡顯明出來的就是光。所以詩中這樣說：醒過來吧，睡著的人，從死人中起來！基督要光照你們。

Ephesians 5:6-14 NIV

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’

    基督徒是光明之子，因為我們的上帝是光明的。

    保羅在此說明：『光明結出一切豐盛的果實，就是良善、正義，和真理。』

    所以，『要明辨甚麼是主所喜悅的事。不可做別人在黑暗中所做那些無益的事，反而要把這種事揭發出來。他們暗地裏所幹的勾當，連提一提都是很可恥的！當一切的事被公開出來的時候，真相就顯露了，因為凡顯明出來的就是光。』

    故我們不要害怕認罪，因為上帝不要我們陷於罪中，所以必須光照我們，使我們真認識自己的景況。所以保羅引用詩人的話：『醒過來吧，睡著的人，從死人中起來！基督要光照你們。』

    我們唯有在聖靈的光照下，才能真正認識自己的本像。只有認清楚自己，才會渴慕上帝的救恩，才會有真正的悔改。也為如此，才能真正得救，成為屬於上帝的兒女。

   

以弗所書4:17-23

 

4:17 我現在奉主的名鄭重地勸告你們：不要再過著像外邦人那樣的生活。他們的思想虛妄，
4:18 心地黑暗，跟上帝所賜的生命隔絕了；因為他們全然無知，剛愎自用。
4:19 他們喪盡了羞恥之心，縱情恣慾，無拘束地做各種敗德的事。
4:20 但是，你們從基督所學的卻不是這樣！
4:21 你們無疑聽見過他的事，作了他的門徒，學到在耶穌裏才有的真理。
4:22 那麼，你們要脫下那一向使你們生活在腐敗中的「舊我」；那舊我是由於私慾的誘惑而腐化了的。
4:23 你們的心思意念要更新，

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

    基督信仰的中心就是靠著基督的力量改變生命。而改變生命的第一步驟，就是：心思意念之更新。

    正如保羅所說：『那麼，你們要脫下那一向使你們生活在腐敗中的「舊我」；那舊我是由於私慾的誘惑而腐化了的，你們的心思意念要更新。』

    而信徒第一步就是，要將心中的寶座歸給耶穌基督，讓祂成為生命的主。也唯有高舉耶穌基督，上帝的大能才會張顯。

    所以，求主幫助，讓我們的心思意念要更新。

 

以弗所書4:1-6

 

4:1 所以，我勸你們─我是因事奉主而成為囚徒的─你們行事為人都應該符合上帝呼召你們時所立的標準。
4:2 你們要謙遜、溫柔、忍耐，以愛心互相寬容，
4:3 以和平彼此聯繫，盡力保持聖靈所賜合一的心。
4:4 惟有一個身體，惟有一位聖靈，正如上帝呼召你們來享有同一個盼望。
4:5 惟有一位主，一個信仰，一個洗禮。
4:6 惟有一位上帝，就是人類的父親；他在萬有之中，統御萬有，貫徹萬有。

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit–just as you were called to one hope when you were called–one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

    保羅勸告以弗所教會的弟兄姊妹：『你們行事為人都應該符合上帝呼召你們時所立的標準。』

    這不僅是當時的基督徒要注意的，也是今日基督徒要注意的。保羅在此也說明如何過符合上帝要求之基督徒的標準：『你們要謙遜、溫柔、忍耐，以愛心互相寬容，以和平彼此聯繫，盡力保持聖靈所賜合一的心。』 

    在此我們也看到上帝三位一體之展現：『惟有一位上帝，就是人類的父親；他在萬有之中，統御萬有，貫徹萬有。』

以弗所書5:1-4

5:1 既然你們是上帝所愛的兒女，你們必須效法他。
5:2 你們的生活要處處表現愛心，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨命，作為馨香的供物和祭品獻給上帝。
5:3 至於那些淫亂、污穢，和貪婪的事，在你們當中連提都不可提，因為你們是上帝的子民。
5:4 你們也不可以說淫猥、愚妄，或下流的話；倒要說感謝上帝的話。

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

    基督徒之所以為基督徒，是因為是基督的門徒，所以要效法基督。

    而基督徒不光是基督之門徒，更是上帝所愛之兒女。既然有這樣的身份，我們的生活表現不得不注意，所以『那些淫亂、污穢，和貪婪的事，在你們當中連提都不可提，因為你們是上帝的子民。你們也不可以說淫猥、愚妄，或下流的話；倒要說感謝上帝的話。』

    除了消極的遠離惡行，更要積極行善，『你們的生活要處處表現愛心，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨命，作為馨香的供物和祭品獻給上帝。』

    因此，我們要以歡喜快樂的心，來過上帝兒女之生活，來見證上帝之救恩！

 

 

以弗所書6:14-18

 

6:14 所以，你們要準備好。要以真理作腰帶，以正義作護胸甲，
6:15 以隨時宣揚和平的福音作鞋子穿上。
6:16 要常常拿著信心的盾牌，好使你們能夠抵禦那邪惡者所射出的一切火箭。
6:17 你們要以救恩作頭盔，以上帝的話作聖靈所賜的寶劍。
6:18 你們要在禱告中祈求上帝的幫助，常常隨從聖靈的帶領禱告。要事事警醒，不可放鬆；要不斷地為信徒們禱告。

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

    這段經文讓我們認識到基督徒要為基督的緣故，成為「福音」之戰士。的確，教會在地上是充滿「爭戰」。要與「肉體—世界—魔鬼」，三合一之敵人戰鬥，將屬乎主的羊，帶入羊圈。

    「以真理作腰帶」表示我們願意以「真理」來約束自己；「以正義作護胸甲」表示用「正義」來保護我們的心；「以隨時宣揚和平的福音作鞋子穿上」表示「宣揚和平的福音」是我們當行之路；「拿著信心的盾牌」表示用「信心」可以抵擋魔鬼之攻擊；「以救恩作頭盔」表示以「救恩」來保護思想；「以上帝的話作聖靈所賜的寶劍」表示要用「上帝的話」來做攻擊仇敵之武器。

    當然，我們不僅要「守」，也要「攻」，要攻克仇敵之營壘，使主的名得到榮耀！

 

以弗所書1章13-17節

 

1:13 你們也是這樣：當你們聽見了真理的信息，就是聽見那使你們得救的福音時，你們信了基督，上帝就把他所應許的聖靈賜給你們，作為你們歸屬於他的印記。
1:14 聖靈保證我們要承受上帝的應許，把完全的自由賜給屬他的人。我們要頌讚他的榮耀！
1:15 因此，自從我聽到了你們對主耶穌有信心，以及對信徒們有愛心，
1:16 我就不斷地為你們感謝上帝。我在禱告中提到你們，
1:17 求我們主耶穌基督的上帝，榮耀的天父，把聖靈賜給你們。這聖靈會給你們智慧，啟示你們認識上帝。

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession–to the praise of his glory. For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

    這裡很清楚告訴我們：『你們信了基督，上帝就把他所應許的聖靈賜給你們，作為你們歸屬於他的印記。』

    所以聖靈不是我們求來的，是我們信了基督，上帝就把聖靈賜給我們，並且以此為「印記」，向世人與魔鬼宣告：我們是屬於基督的。

    保羅在此也教導我們：『聖靈保證我們要承受上帝的應許，把完全的自由賜給屬他的人。我們要頌讚他的榮耀！』

    所以，我們心中有聖靈內住，我們就是真正的基督徒。而聖靈同在的人會認識上帝，在生活上的表現是『對主耶穌有信心，以及對信徒們有愛心。』

    我們可以由這樣的表現來要求自己，使基督的榮美由我們彰顯！

 

以弗所書1:7

 

由於基督的死，我們得到自由，我們的罪蒙赦免。這是出於上帝豐富的恩典。

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

    基督耶穌在十字架上，流出寶血，捨了性命，讓我們得著自由，我們的眾罪得赦免。這樣的拯救，是上帝白白賜給我們的，因為這是出於上帝豐富的恩典。這是何等的愛！

    雖然上帝沒有強迫我們一定要信靠祂，但是這樣的愛真是讓人不可抗拒。我們面對這樣的愛，仍然拒絕，是我們的錯，不是上帝的錯。

    所以，不信靠耶穌基督的人，自己必須承擔自己所選擇之後果，不可以怪上帝。
