36:8 「以色列山哪，你必發枝條，為我的民以色列結果子，因為他們快要來到。
36:9 看哪，我是幫助你的，也必向你轉意，使你得以耕種。
36:10 我必使以色列全家的人數在你上面增多，城邑有人居住，荒場再被建造。
36:11 我必使人和牲畜在你上面加增；他們必生養眾多。我要使你照舊有人居住，並要賜福與你比先前更多，你就知道我是耶和華。
36:12 我必使人，就是我的民以色列，行在你上面。他們必得你為業；你也不再使他們喪子。
36:13 主耶和華如此說：因為人對你說：『你是吞吃人的，又使國民喪子』，
36:14 所以主耶和華說：你必不再吞吃人，也不再使國民喪子。
36:15 我使你不再聽見各國的羞辱，不再受萬民的辱罵，也不再使國民絆跌。這是主耶和華說的。」
“But you, O mountains of Israel, shall
shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel, for they
will soon come home. For behold, I am
for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. And I will multiply people on you, the whole
house of Israel, all of it. The cities shall be inhabited and the waste places
rebuilt. And I will multiply on you man
and beast, and they shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be
inhabited as in your former times, and will do more good to you than ever before.
Then you will know that I am the Lord. I
will let people walk on you, even my people Israel. And they shall possess you,
and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no longer bereave them of
children. Thus says the Lord God:
Because they say to you, You devour people, and you bereave your nation of
children,’ therefore you shall no longer
devour people and no longer bereave your nation of children, declares the Lord
God. And I will not let you hear anymore
the reproach of the nations, and you shall no longer bear the disgrace of the
peoples and no longer cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord God.”

這裡告訴我們上帝必定會破除「邱壇」的異教崇拜。因為邱壇是敬拜迦南的神—巴力、亞斯他錄等，除了充滿姦淫的狂歡之外，就是用嬰孩獻祭，所以才會有『你是吞吃人的，又使國民喪子』的情形！
上帝雖然使以色列和猶大被滅，但事上帝仍留餘種，讓被擄的猶大人可以回歸耶路撒冷，重新敬拜耶和華，建立聖殿和編纂聖卷，並建立會堂式的禮拜，由文士帶領大家宣讀摩西律法，並且遵行和嚴守安息日，回歸上帝的面前！
因為有這樣的回歸，才有耶穌基督時代的猶太宗教，也因為如此，耶穌基督的福音才有明確的基礎，可見上帝是一步一步的預備救恩，為耶穌基督的降臨來鋪路，使人可以藉由耶穌基督而歸回上帝面前，享受一切恩惠！
