希伯來書5:1-10


5:1 凡從人間挑選的大祭司,是奉派替人辦理屬上帝的事,為要獻上禮物和贖罪祭(或譯:要為罪獻上禮物和祭物)。
5:2
他能體諒那愚蒙的和失迷的人,因為他自己也是被軟弱所困。
5:3
故此,他理當為百姓和自己獻祭贖罪。
5:4
這大祭司的尊榮,沒有人自取。惟要蒙上帝所召,像亞倫一樣。
5:5
如此,基督也不是自取榮耀作大祭司,乃是在乎向他說「你是我的兒子,我今日生你」的那一位;
5:6
就如經上又有一處說:「你是照著麥基洗德的等次永遠為祭司。」
5:7
基督在肉體的時候,既大聲哀哭,流淚禱告,懇求那能救他免死的主,就因他的虔誠蒙了應允。
5:8
他雖然為兒子,還是因所受的苦難學了順從。
5:9
他既得以完全,就為凡順從他的人成了永遠得救的根源,
5:10
並蒙上帝照著麥基洗德的等次稱他為大祭司。

 Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was.
In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,
“You are my Son;
    today I have become your Father.”
And he says in another place,
“You are a priest forever,
    in the order of Melchizedek.”
During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

    在上帝面前服事的不是憑著自己的意願,是來自於上帝的選召,若不是上帝選召的就不能蒙上帝喜悅,就沒有權柄成為上帝的僕人!也就是說,在上帝的國裡沒有自願軍,都是被徵召的!不是看你喜不喜歡,而是要看上帝的做為!

    正如保羅,他本是逼迫基督徒,破壞教會的法利賽人。本是不可能成為耶穌基督的使徒,但是耶穌基督親自召選他成為使徒,並將福音傳到外邦人當中,成為耶穌基督第一位海外宣教士。

    而《希伯來書》作者,也是要告訴我們耶穌基督在祭司的職分上,也是出於上帝,也是上帝讓祂超越支派上的限制。照猶太人來說,只有利未支派,才可以成為祭司。而耶穌基督按肉身說本是猶大支派,是不可能成為祭司的。所以,上帝用更高等級的職分來越過血統。

    而這一切乃是要表明上帝有主權,他可以越過各樣的法則、各樣的律例,因為祂本身就是有創意的上帝,但是祂的創意又不會違背自己,是使已有的事情,轉化成為新的意義!讓我們讚嘆連連!
