阿摩司書1:6-15

1:6 耶和華如此說：迦薩三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她擄掠眾民交給以東。
1:7 我卻要降火在迦薩的城內，燒滅其中的宮殿。
1:8 我必剪除亞實突的居民和亞實基倫掌權的，也必反手攻擊以革倫。非利士人所餘剩的必都滅亡。這是主耶和華說的。
1:9 耶和華如此說：泰爾三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她將眾民交給以東，並不記念弟兄的盟約。
1:10 我卻要降火在泰爾的城內，燒滅其中的宮殿。
1:11 耶和華如此說：以東三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她拿刀追趕兄弟，毫無憐憫，發怒撕裂，永懷忿怒。
1:12 我卻要降火在提幔，燒滅波斯拉的宮殿。
1:13 耶和華如此說：亞捫人三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去他們的刑罰；因為他們剖開基列的孕婦，擴張自己的境界。
1:14 我卻要在爭戰吶喊的日子，旋風狂暴的時候，點火在拉巴的城內，燒滅其中的宮殿。
1:15 他們的王和首領必一同被擄去。這是耶和華說的。

This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Gaza,
    even for four, I will not relent.
Because she took captive whole communities
    and sold them to Edom,
⁷ I will send fire on the walls of Gaza
    that will consume her fortresses.
⁸ I will destroy the king^[a] of Ashdod
    and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon.
I will turn my hand against Ekron,
    till the last of the Philistines are dead,”
says the Sovereign Lord.

⁹ This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Tyre,
    even for four, I will not relent.
Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom,
    disregarding a treaty of brotherhood,
¹⁰ I will send fire on the walls of Tyre
    that will consume her fortresses.”

¹¹ This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Edom,
    even for four, I will not relent.
Because he pursued his brother with a sword
    and slaughtered the women of the land,
because his anger raged continually
    and his fury flamed unchecked,
¹² I will send fire on Teman
    that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah.”

¹³ This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Ammon,
    even for four, I will not relent.
Because he ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead
    in order to extend his borders,
¹⁴ I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah
    that will consume her fortresses
amid war cries on the day of battle,
    amid violent winds on a stormy day.
¹⁵ Her king^[b] will go into exile,
    he and his officials together,”
says the Lord.

    從這段經文看見罪的影響力是充滿在列邦中，這也是人真實的狀況，所以人無法與上帝有正確和合宜的關係。

    也因此上帝主動解決自己與他所愛的人的關係，透過他的愛子耶穌基督的作為，與人建立正確和合宜的關係，並且收納在基督裡的人成為她的兒女，並且要與基督同享勝利的榮耀。

    因此，上帝既然讓我們透過耶穌基督，得以進入上帝的家，我們理當單單倚靠祂的大能作為，不要再嘗試用自己的方法。我們若不倚靠主耶穌，就是藐視祂，這更是得罪上帝。

阿摩司書1:3-4

1:3 耶和華如此說：大馬士革三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她以打糧食的鐵器打過基列。
1:4 我卻要降火在哈薛的家中，燒滅便哈達的宮殿。
1:5 我必折斷大馬士革的門閂，剪除亞文平原的居民和伯•伊甸掌權的。亞蘭人必被擄到吉珥。這是耶和華說的。

 This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Damascus,
    even for four, I will not relent.
Because she threshed Gilead
    with sledges having iron teeth,
I will send fire on the house of Hazael
    that will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.
 I will break down the gate of Damascus;
    I will destroy the king who is in^[b] the Valley of Aven^[c]
and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden.
    The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,”
says the Lord.

    阿摩斯先知發預言攻擊亞蘭國，尤其是對她的首都大馬士革。因為大馬士革大馬士革三番四次地犯罪，所以上帝一定會懲罰他們。

    而這樣的預言也是提醒我們是犯罪的族類，上帝一定會追討的！

阿摩司書1:1-2

1:1 當猶大王烏西雅，以色列王約阿施的兒子耶羅波安在位的時候，大地震前二年，提哥亞牧人中的阿摩司得默示論以色列。
1:2 他說：耶和華必從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷發聲；牧人的草場要悲哀；迦密的山頂要枯乾。

The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa—the vision he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash^[a] was king of Israel.

He said:

“The Lord roars from Zion
    and thunders from Jerusalem;
the pastures of the shepherds dry up,
    and the top of Carmel withers.”

    在這裡有一個重要的字眼「枯乾」！為何會枯乾呢？就是遠離上帝導致沒有活水的供應，以至於枯乾。

    詩篇第一篇2-3節：「惟喜愛耶和華的律法，晝夜思想，這人便為有福！他要像一棵樹栽在溪水旁，按時候結果子，葉子也不枯乾。凡他所做的盡都順利。」

    這告訴我們不枯乾的秘訣，就是要有上帝的話語。也因此，我們要好好地讀聖經，讓我們靠上帝的話不枯乾。

俄巴底亞書15-21

1:15 耶和華降罰的日子臨近萬國。你怎樣行，他也必照樣向你行；你的報應必歸到你頭上。
1:16 你們猶大人在我聖山怎樣喝了苦杯，萬國也必照樣常常地喝；且喝且咽，他們就歸於無有。
1:17 在錫安山必有逃脫的人，那山也必成聖；雅各家必得原有的產業。
1:18 雅各家必成為大火；約瑟家必為火焰；以掃家必如碎秸；火必將他燒著吞滅。以掃家必無餘剩的。這是耶和華說的。
1:19 南地的人必得以掃山；高原的人必得非利士地，也得以法蓮地和撒馬利亞地；便雅憫人必得基列。
1:20 在迦南人中被擄的以色列眾人必得地直到撒勒法；在西法拉中被擄的耶路撒冷人必得南地的城邑。
1:21 必有拯救者上到錫安山，審判以掃山；國度就歸耶和華了。

“The day of the Lord is near
    for all nations.
As you have done, it will be done to you;
    your deeds will return upon your own head.
Just as you drank on my holy hill,
    so all the nations will drink continually;
they will drink and drink
    and be as if they had never been.
But on Mount Zion will be deliverance;
    it will be holy,
    and Jacob will possess his inheritance.
Jacob will be a fire
    and Joseph a flame;
Esau will be stubble,
    and they will set him on fire and destroy him.
There will be no survivors
    from Esau.”
The Lord has spoken.

People from the Negev will occupy
    the mountains of Esau,
and people from the foothills will possess
    the land of the Philistines.
They will occupy the fields of Ephraim and Samaria,
    and Benjamin will possess Gilead.
This company of Israelite exiles who are in Canaan
    will possess the land as far as Zarephath;
the exiles from Jerusalem who are in Sepharad
    will possess the towns of the Negev.
Deliverers will go up on^[c] Mount Zion
    to govern the mountains of Esau.
    And the kingdom will be the Lord’s.

    上帝要藉由以東的受審判，使萬國萬民認識上帝要求是要大家彼此相愛，以信實互相扶持。因為以東沒有善待自己的兄弟以色列。
