38:1 他用皂莢木做燔祭壇，是四方的，長五肘，寬五肘，高三肘，
38:2 在壇的四拐角上做四個角，與壇接連一塊，用銅把壇包裹。
38:3 他做壇上的盆、鏟子、盤子、肉鍤子、火鼎；這一切器具都是用銅做的。
38:4 又為壇做一個銅網，安在壇四面的圍腰板以下，從下達到壇的半腰。
38:5 為銅網的四角鑄四個環子，作為穿槓的用處。
38:6 用皂莢木做槓，用銅包裹，
38:7 把槓穿在壇兩旁的環子內，用以抬壇，並用板做壇；壇是空的。
38:8 他用銅做洗濯盆和盆座，是用會幕門前伺候的婦人之鏡子做的。
38:9 他做帳幕的院子。院子的南面用撚的細麻做帷子，寬一百肘。
38:10 帷子的柱子二十根，帶卯的銅座二十個；柱子上的鉤子和杆子都是用銀子做的。
38:11 北面也有帷子，寬一百肘。帷子的柱子二十根，帶卯的銅座二十個；柱子上的鉤子和杆子都是用銀子做的。
38:12 院子的西面有帷子，寬五十肘。帷子的柱子十根，帶卯的座十個；柱子的鉤子和杆子都是用銀子做的。
38:13 院子的東面，寬五十肘。
38:14 門這邊的帷子十五肘，那邊也是一樣。帷子的柱子三根，帶卯的座三個。在門的左右各有帷子十五肘，帷子的柱子三根，帶卯的座三個。

38:16 院子四面的帷子都是用撚的細麻做的。
38:17 柱子帶卯的座是銅的，柱子上的鉤子和杆子是銀的，柱頂是用銀子包的。院子一切的柱子都是用銀杆連絡的。
38:18 院子的門簾是以繡花的手工，用藍色、紫色、朱紅色線，和撚的細麻織的，寬二十肘，高五肘，與院子的帷子相配。

38:25 會中被數的人所出的銀子，按聖所的平，有一百他連得並一千七百七十五舍客勒。
38:26 凡過去歸那些被數之人的，從二十歲以外，有六十萬零三千五百五十人。按聖所的平，每人出銀半舍客勒，就是一比加。
38:27 用那一百他連得銀子鑄造聖所帶卯的座和幔子柱子帶卯的座；一百他連得共一百帶卯的座，每帶卯的座用一他連得。
38:28 用那一千七百七十五舍客勒銀子做柱子上的鉤子，包裹柱頂並柱子上的杆子。
38:29 所獻的銅有七十他連得並二千四百舍客勒。
38:30 用這銅做會幕門帶卯的座和銅壇，並壇上的銅網和壇的一切器具，
38:31 並院子四圍帶卯的座和院門帶卯的座，與帳幕一切的橛子和院子四圍所有的橛子。

They^[a] built the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood, three cubits^[b] high; it was square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.^{[c] 2} They made a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar were of one piece, and they overlaid the altar with bronze. ³ They made all its utensils of bronze—its pots, shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans. ⁴ They made a grating for the altar, a bronze network, to be under its ledge, halfway up the altar. ⁵ They cast bronze rings to hold the poles for the four corners of the bronze grating. ⁶ They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with bronze. ⁷ They inserted the poles into the rings so they would be on the sides of the altar for carrying it. They made it hollow, out of boards.

⁸ They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

⁹ Next they made the courtyard. The south side was a hundred cubits^[d] long and had curtains of finely twisted linen, ¹⁰ with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, and with silver hooks and bands on the posts. ¹¹ The north side was also a hundred cubits long and had twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, with silver hooks and bands on the posts.

¹² The west end was fifty cubits^[e] wide and had curtains, with ten posts and ten bases, with silver hooks and bands on the posts. ¹³ The east end, toward the sunrise, was also fifty cubits wide. ¹⁴ Curtains fifteen cubits^[f] long were on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases, ¹⁵ and curtains fifteen cubits long were on the other side of the entrance to the courtyard, with three posts and three bases. ¹⁶ All the curtains around the courtyard were of finely twisted linen. ¹⁷ The bases for the posts were bronze. The hooks and bands on the posts were silver, and their tops were overlaid with silver; so all the posts of the courtyard had silver bands.

¹⁸ The curtain for the entrance to the courtyard was made of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer. It was twenty cubits^[g] long and, like the curtains of the courtyard, five cubits^[h] high, ¹⁹ with four posts and four bronze bases. Their hooks and bands were silver, and their tops were overlaid with silver. ²⁰ All the tent pegs of the tabernacle and of the surrounding courtyard were bronze.

²¹ These are the amounts of the materials used for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the covenant law, which were recorded at Moses’ command by the Levites under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest. ²² (Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything the Lord commanded Moses; ²³ with him was Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan—an engraver and designer, and an embroiderer in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen.) ²⁴ The total amount of the gold from the wave offering used for all the work on the sanctuary was 29 talents and 730 shekels,^[i] according to the sanctuary shekel.

²⁵ The silver obtained from those of the community who were counted in the census was 100 talents^[j] and 1,775 shekels,^[k] according to the sanctuary shekel— ²⁶ one beka per person, that is, half a shekel,^[l] according to the sanctuary shekel, from everyone who had crossed over to those counted, twenty years old or more, a total of 603,550 men. ²⁷ The 100 talents of silver were used to cast the bases for the sanctuary and for the curtain—100 bases from the 100 talents, one talent for each base. ²⁸ They used the 1,775 shekels to make the hooks for the posts, to overlay the tops of the posts, and to make their bands.

²⁹ The bronze from the wave offering was 70 talents and 2,400 shekels.^{[m] 30} They used it to make the bases for the entrance to the tent of meeting, the bronze altar with its bronze grating and all its utensils, ³¹ the bases for the surrounding courtyard and those for its entrance and all the tent pegs for the tabernacle and those for the surrounding courtyard.
