30:20 十一年正月初七日，耶和華的話臨到我說：
30:21 「人子啊，我已打折埃及王法老的膀臂；沒有敷藥，也沒有用布纏好，使他有力持刀。
30:22 所以主耶和華如此說：看哪，我與埃及王法老為敵，必將他有力的膀臂和已打折的膀臂全行打斷，使刀從他手中墜落。
30:23 我必將埃及人分散在列國，四散在列邦。
30:24 我必使巴比倫王的膀臂有力，將我的刀交在他手中；卻要打斷法老的膀臂，他就在巴比倫王面前唉哼，如同受死傷的人一樣。
30:25 我必扶持巴比倫王的膀臂，法老的膀臂卻要下垂；我將我的刀交在巴比倫王手中，他必舉刀攻擊埃及地，他們就知道我是耶和華。
30:26 我必將埃及人分散在列國，四散在列邦；他們就知道我是耶和華。」
In the eleventh year, in the first month,
on the seventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh
king of Egypt, and behold, it has not been bound up, to heal it by binding it
with a bandage, so that it may become strong to wield the sword. Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I
am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong arm
and the one that was broken, and I will make the sword fall from his hand. I will scatter the Egyptians among the
nations and disperse them through the countries. And I will strengthen the arms of the king of
Babylon and put my sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and
he will groan before him like a man mortally wounded. I will strengthen the arms of the king of
Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall. Then they shall know that I am the
Lord, when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he stretches
it out against the land of Egypt. And I
will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them throughout the
countries. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

上帝執意要埃及敗亡，讓巴比倫取代埃及成為世界的霸主！
在這裡讓我們看見歷史是在上帝的手中，上帝是歷史的主，是上帝在寫歷史，不是我們在寫歷史，人不可以高傲的說：我們在寫歷史！這是與上帝主權相衝突的，有一天必受上帝的擊打，如同埃及王一般，人士無法勝過上帝的！
讓我們與上帝的關係是信而順服，如此我們才會有安息，若是遇上地相抗相爭，就沒有安息，只有敗亡！要靠耶穌與上帝和好，才是真平安！
