4:8 我的新婦，求你與我一同離開黎巴嫩，與我一同離開黎巴嫩。從亞瑪拿頂，從示尼珥與黑門頂，從有獅子的洞，從有豹子的山往下觀看。
4:9 我妹子，我新婦，你奪了我的心。你用眼一看，用你項上的一條金鍊，奪了我的心！
4:10 我妹子，我新婦，你的愛情何其美！你的愛情比酒更美！你膏油的香氣勝過一切香品！

4:14 有哪噠和番紅花，菖蒲和桂樹，並各樣乳香木、沒藥、沉香，與一切上等的果品。
4:15 你是園中的泉，活水的井，從黎巴嫩流下來的溪水。

男人通常會受到女子的體態和容貌所吸引，因為男人是視覺動物，喜歡好身材的美女，這是無可諱言的！所以，新郎在這裡描繪他的新婦是何等的美麗動人，多麽吸引人！讚嘆的說出：「我的佳偶，你全然美麗，毫無瑕疵！」
在啟示錄的最後幾章描述到：基督是新郎，教會是新婦。而新婦就是指教會，以弗所說到：「願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父上帝！他在基督裡曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣：就如上帝從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵！」（1:3-4）「你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。」（5:25-27）
上帝盼望教會是「毫無瑕疵」，這如以弗所書所說的，然而人無法有自己的聖潔，人的聖潔是從上帝那裡領受來的！也因此，人必須要謙卑，尊主為大，離了主，我們甚麼都不是！
