出埃及記30:22-38

30:22 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
30:23 「你要取上品的香料，就是流質的沒藥五百舍客勒，香肉桂一半，就是二百五十舍客勒，菖蒲二百五十舍客勒，
30:24 桂皮五百舍客勒，都按著聖所的平，又取橄欖油一欣，
30:25 按做香之法調和做成聖膏油。
30:26 要用這膏油抹會幕和法櫃，
30:27 桌子與桌子的一切器具，燈臺和燈臺的器具，並香壇、
30:28 燔祭壇，和壇的一切器具，洗濯盆和盆座。
30:29 要使這些物成為聖，好成為至聖；凡挨著的都成為聖。
30:30 要膏亞倫和他的兒子，使他們成為聖，可以給我供祭司的職分。
30:31 你要對以色列人說：『這油，我要世世代代以為聖膏油。
30:32 不可倒在別人的身上，也不可按這調和之法做與此相似的。這膏油是聖的，你們也要以為聖。
30:33 凡調和與此相似的，或將這膏膏在別人身上的，這人要從民中剪除。』」
30:34 耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你要取馨香的香料，就是拿他弗、施喜列、喜利比拿；這馨香的香料和淨乳香各樣要一般大的分量。
30:35 你要用這些加上鹽，按做香之法做成清淨聖潔的香。
30:36 這香要取點搗得極細，放在會幕內、法櫃前，我要在那裡與你相會。你們要以這香為至聖。
30:37 你們不可按這調和之法為自己做香；要以這香為聖，歸耶和華。
30:38 凡做香和這香一樣，為要聞香味的，這人要從民中剪除。」

²² Then the Lord said to Moses, ²³ “Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels^[d] of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels^[e] of fragrant calamus, ²⁴ 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin^[f] of olive oil. ²⁵ Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. ²⁶ Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, ²⁷ the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, ²⁸ the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. ²⁹ You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.

³⁰ “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests. ³¹ Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. ³² Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred. ³³ Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.’”

³⁴ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Take fragrant spices—gum resin, onycha and galbanum—and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts, ³⁵ and make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer. It is to be salted and pure and sacred. ³⁶ Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you. ³⁷ Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy to the Lord. ³⁸ Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off from their people.”

    這裡說到的聖香和膏油，是要人藉由嗅覺知道何為歸於上帝為聖的，好讓人藉由馨香之氣感受到上帝的同在。而這樣的「馨香之氣」專屬於上帝，而且上帝只能接受這個香氣。

    然而說到香氣，就想到保羅所說的：「感謝上帝！常率領我們在基督裡誇勝，並藉著我們在各處顯揚那因認識基督而有的香氣。因為我們在上帝面前，無論在得救的人身上或滅亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之氣。」（哥林多後書2:14-15）

    也因為如此，惟有屬基督的人才有「馨香之氣」，更是惟有這樣的香氣，才可以展現我們是屬基督的，為上帝所喜悅的，正如當年的祭司，是有上帝所規定的馨香之氣！
