14:14 我又觀看，見有一片白雲，雲上坐著一位好像人子，頭上戴著金冠冕，手裡拿著快鐮刀。
14:15 又有一位天使從殿中出來，向那坐在雲上的大聲喊著說：「伸出你的鐮刀來收割；因為收割的時候已經到了，地上的莊稼已經熟透了。」
14:16 那坐在雲上的，就把鐮刀扔在地上，地上的莊稼就被收割了。
14:17 又有一位天使從天上的殿中出來，他也拿著快鐮刀。
14:18 又有一位天使從祭壇中出來，是有權柄管火的，向拿著快鐮刀的大聲喊著說：「伸出快鐮刀來，收取地上葡萄樹的果子，因為葡萄熟透了！」
14:19 那天使就把鐮刀扔在地上，收取了地上的葡萄，丟在上帝忿怒的大酒醡中。
14:20 那酒醡踹在城外，就有血從酒醡裡流出來，高到馬的嚼環，遠有六百里。
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud,
and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head,
and a sharp sickle in his hand. And another angel came out of the temple,
calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Put in your
sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth
is fully ripe." So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the
earth, and the earth was reaped.
Then another angel came out of the temple
in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the
altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud
voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, "Put in your sickle and gather
the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe." So the
angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the
earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the
winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as
high as a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.

這裡看見上帝的憤怒，也看見那不信的人不僅是靈魂的死亡，更是身體的死亡與流血，用葡萄的酒醡來形容他們將要受到的摧殘與刑罰，他們必須流血來還清基督的血債，因為基督本是上帝的兒子，他們經然將祂釘十字架，流出寶血！所以上帝展現大怒氣，這事上帝的報仇！也因此基督徒要為世人禱告，求主不要將這怒氣歸於世人，願世人都靠基督而悔改得救！
