2:1 他對我說：「人子啊，你站起來，我要和你說話。」
2:2 他對我說話的時候，靈就進入我裡面，使我站起來，我便聽見那位對我說話的聲音。
2:3 他對我說：「人子啊，我差你往悖逆的國民以色列人那裡去。他們是悖逆我的，他們和他們的列祖違背我，直到今日。
2:4 這眾子面無羞恥，心裡剛硬。我差你往他們那裡去，你要對他們說：主耶和華如此說。
2:5 他們或聽，或不聽，（他們是悖逆之家），必知道在他們中間有了先知。
2:6 人子啊，雖有荊棘和蒺藜在你那裡，你又住在蠍子中間，總不要怕他們，也不要怕他們的話；他們雖是悖逆之家，還不要怕他們的話，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶。
2:7 他們或聽，或不聽，你只管將我的話告訴他們；他們是極其悖逆的。
And he said to me, “Son of man, stand on
your feet, and I will speak with you.” And
as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I
heard him speaking to me. And he said to
me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to nations of rebels, who
have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me
to this very day. The descendants also
are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus
says the Lord God.’ And whether they
hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that a
prophet has been among them. And you,
son of man, be not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers
and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions. Be not afraid of their words,
nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And you shall speak my words to them, whether
they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.

以西結被上帝差遣往被擄的猶太人中間宣講信息，但是上帝一再告訴他，這些人的特質就是：「悖逆」！
但是上帝也一再告訴他，不管他們「或聽，或不聽」，就是要他將上帝的話向他們宣告，甚至「還不要怕他們的話，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶」。
其實今日在教會中的傳道人，也要像以西結一樣，不管他們「或聽，或不聽」，就是要他將上帝的話向他們宣告，甚至「還不要怕他們的話，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶」。
