1:15 我正觀看活物的時候，見活物的臉旁各有一輪在地上。
1:16 輪的形狀和顏色（原文是作法）好像水蒼玉。四輪都是一個樣式，形狀和作法好像輪中套輪。
1:17 輪行走的時候，向四方都能直行，並不掉轉。
1:18 至於輪輞，高而可畏；四個輪輞周圍滿有眼睛。
1:19 活物行走，輪也在旁邊行走；活物從地上升，輪也都上升。
1:20 靈往哪裡去，活物就往那裡去；活物上升，輪也在活物旁邊上升，因為活物的靈在輪中。
1:21 那些行走，這些也行走；那些站住，這些也站住；那些從地上升，輪也在旁邊上升，因為活物的靈在輪中。
1:22 活物的頭以上有穹蒼的形像，看著像可畏的水晶，鋪張在活物的頭以上。
1:23 穹蒼以下，活物的翅膀直張，彼此相對；每活物有兩個翅膀遮體。
1:24 活物行走的時候，我聽見翅膀的響聲，像大水的聲音，像全能者的聲音，也像軍隊鬨嚷的聲音。活物站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。
1:25 在他們頭以上的穹蒼之上有聲音。他們站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。
1:26 在他們頭以上的穹蒼之上有寶座的形像，彷彿藍寶石；在寶座形像以上有彷彿人的形狀。
1:27 我見從他腰以上有彷彿光耀的精金，周圍都有火的形狀，又見從他腰以下有彷彿火的形狀，周圍也有光輝。
1:28 下雨的日子，雲中虹的形狀怎樣，周圍光輝的形狀也是怎樣。這就是耶和華榮耀的形像。我一看見就俯伏在地，又聽見一位說話的聲音。
15 Now as I looked at the living creatures,
I saw a wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, one for each of the
four of them. 16 As for the appearance of the wheels and their
construction:their appearance was like the gleaming of beryl. And the four had
the same likeness, their appearance and construction being as it were a wheel
within a wheel. 17 When they went, they went in any of their four directions
without turning as they went. 18 And their rims were tall and awesome, and the
rims of all four were full of eyes all around. 19 And when the living creatures
went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures rose from the
earth, the wheels rose. 20 Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the
wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the
wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and
when those rose from the earth, the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit
of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 Over the heads of the living creatures
there was the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe- inspiring crystal,
spread out above their heads. 23 And under the expanse their wings were
stretched out straight, one toward another. And each creature had two wings
covering its body. 24 And when they went, I heard the sound of their wings like
the sound of many waters, like the sound of the Almighty, a sound of tumult
like the sound of an army. When they stood still, they let down their wings. 25
And there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads. When they stood
still, they let down their wings.
26 And above the expanse over their heads
there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated
above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance. 27 And
upward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were gleaming
metal, like the appearance of fire enclosed all around. And downward from what
had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and
there was brightness around him. 28 Like the appearance of the bow that is in
the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all
around.
Such was the appearance of the likeness of
the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the
voice of one speaking.

以西結先知在這裡看見上帝的榮美，將祂的形像記錄下來，也讓我們一同來感受祂的奇妙！雖然上帝是無法用文字完全形容，但是祂的榮美是讓人顫驚不已，人都要為祂的榮美所折服！
然而上帝為了讓我們可以親近祂，大多時候祂將祂的榮光遮掩起來，讓我們用心靈與祂相親，讓我們透過聖靈在我們心中，也用聖經向我們宣告自己，俯就卑微的我們，無法在祂的榮光下站立。
因此，在與人建立關係之時，就成為一個卑微的人，不張揚不顯明，甚至還未人死在十字架上，並且第三日復活，後升天，在上帝面前的右邊為我們代求，作後還要再來領我們回天家，並更新「舊的天地」，成為「新天新地」！舊事都要過去，一切都變成新！
