19:19 「你們要守我的律例。不可叫你的牲畜與異類配合；不可用兩樣攙雜的種種你的地，也不可用兩樣攙雜的料做衣服穿在身上。
19:20 「婢女許配了丈夫，還沒有被贖、得釋放，人若與她行淫，二人要受刑罰，卻不把他們治死，因為婢女還沒有得自由。
19:21 那人要把贖愆祭，就是一隻公綿羊牽到會幕門口、耶和華面前。
19:22 祭司要用贖愆祭的羊在耶和華面前贖他所犯的罪，他的罪就必蒙赦免。
19:23 「你們到了迦南地，栽種各樣結果子的樹木，就要以所結的果子如未受割禮的一樣。三年之久，你們要以這些果子，如未受割禮的，是不可吃的。
19:24 但第四年所結的果子全要成為聖，用以讚美耶和華。
19:25 第五年，你們要吃那樹上的果子，好叫樹給你們結果子更多。我是耶和華─你們的上帝。
19:26 「你們不可吃帶血的物；不可用法術，也不可觀兆。
19:27 頭的周圍（或譯：兩鬢）不可剃，鬍鬚的周圍也不可損壞。
19:28 不可為死人用刀劃身，也不可在身上刺花紋。我是耶和華。
19:29 「不可辱沒你的女兒，使她為娼妓，恐怕地上的人專向淫亂，地就滿了大惡。
19:30 你們要守我的安息日，敬我的聖所。我是耶和華。
19:31 「不可偏向那些交鬼的和行巫術的；不可求問他們，以致被他們玷污了。我是耶和華─你們的上帝。

my decrees.

not mate different kinds of animals.

not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
20 “‘If
a man sleeps with a female slave who is promised to another man but who has not
been ransomed or given her freedom, there must be due punishment.[a] Yet they
are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed. 21 The
man, however, must bring a ram to the entrance to the tent of meeting for a
guilt offering to the Lord. 22 With
the ram of the guilt offering the priest is to make atonement for him before
the Lord for the sin he has
committed, and his sin will be forgiven.
23 “‘When
you enter the land and plant any kind of fruit tree, regard its fruit as
forbidden.[b] For three
years you are to consider it forbidden[c]; it must
not be eaten. 24 In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy,
an offering of praise to the Lord.
25 But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way
your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord
your God.
26 “‘Do
not eat any meat with the blood still in it.
“‘Do
not practice divination or seek omens.
27 “‘Do
not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.
28 “‘Do
not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.
29 “‘Do
not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to
prostitution and be filled with wickedness.
30 “‘Observe
my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
31 “‘Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be
defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.

上帝不僅要以色列人歸向祂，也為他們立生活的規矩，不僅是道德上，還包括倫理和宗教上，甚至是飲食，也就是要他們在各樣的事上，來榮耀主的名。正如保羅說：「所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做甚麼，都要為榮耀上帝而行。」（哥林多前書10:31）
這不禁讓人想起《韋斯敏斯德小要理問答》中的第一問：「人的主要目的是什麼？」答是：「人的主要目的就是榮耀上帝，永遠以祂為樂。」
所以，我們活著就是要榮耀上帝，連生活各樣的小細節都不例外！但是，這樣的能力從哪裡來的？正如第二問說到：「上帝曾賜什麼準則，指教我們怎樣榮耀祂，以祂為樂？」答是：「上帝的道，載於新舊兩約聖經，就是唯一的準則，指教我們怎樣榮耀上帝，以他為樂。」
也因此，我們要用上帝的真道來造就我們自己，就能活出上帝要我們活的生命樣式！
