在基督徒的生命中尋求上帝是一件非常重要得事情，因為我們清楚靠自己是沒有利益的，甚至是沒有功效的！因為我們是軟弱的，甚至是無力抵魔鬼的，尤其是在這個世界之中，充滿著魔鬼的詭計，更是要時時刻刻仰望上帝，使我們不受各樣的影響，以至於喪膽失去信心！
在信主之前，生活在異教世界之中，人用各樣的符咒、象徵物、…來讓自己消災解厄，而這些東西在過去的傳說中有許多副作用。在自己感覺心靈強壯的時候，是不受影響。在心靈軟弱的時候，想起來心中毛毛的，總是覺得不對勁！這時候怎麼辦﹖當然要不斷的提醒自己: 上帝是全能的，祂必保守到底！
當然這樣的提醒還是不夠，為了更真實的進入上帝的同在，我們必定要禱告，經由禱告感受到上帝的介入，使我們在禱告中感受到上帝大能的作為！也因為如此，我們感受基督信仰不只是知識或觀念，更是感受到上帝真真時時的拯救！願您常常藉由禱告尋求上帝，朝見祂的面，必定感受上帝的同在之平安！
