歷代志下7:11-22

 

7:11 所羅門造成了耶和華殿和王宮；在耶和華殿和王宮凡他心中所要做的，都順順利利地做成了。
7:12 夜間耶和華向所羅門顯現，對他說：「我已聽了你的禱告，也選擇這地方作為祭祀我的殿宇。
7:13 我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，
7:14 這稱為我名下的子民，若是自卑、禱告，尋求我的面，轉離他們的惡行，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的地。
7:15 我必睜眼看、側耳聽在此處所獻的禱告。
7:16 現在我已選擇這殿，分別為聖，使我的名永在其中，我的眼、我的心也必常在那裡。
7:17 你若在我面前效法你父大衛所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，
7:18 我就必堅固你的國位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷人作以色列的王。』
7:19 「倘若你們轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命，去事奉敬拜別神，
7:20 我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。
7:21 這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』
7:22 人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄耶和華─他們列祖的上帝，就是領他們出埃及地的上帝，去親近別神，敬拜事奉他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

 

¹¹ When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace, ¹² the Lord appeared to him at night and said:

“I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.

¹³ “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, ¹⁴ if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. ¹⁵ Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. ¹⁶ I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.

¹⁷ “As for you, if you walk before me faithfully as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws, ¹⁸ I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’

¹⁹ “But if you^[a] turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you^[b] and go off to serve other gods and worship them, ²⁰ then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. ²¹ This temple will become a heap of rubble. All^[c] who pass by will be appalled and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ ²² People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—that is why he brought all this disaster on them.’”

    上帝親自向所羅門顯現，且向所羅門應許：「我已聽了你的禱告，也選擇這地方作為祭祀我的殿宇。我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，這稱為我名下的子民，若是自卑、禱告，尋求我的面，轉離他們的惡行，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的地。我必睜眼看、側耳聽在此處所獻的禱告。」

 

    這也讓在台灣的基督徒眼睛一亮，也盼望這樣的應許彰顯在台灣！尤其是最近乾旱不雨和疫情擴散之不安，盼望能喚醒台灣的人離棄偶像，轉向榮耀的上帝」因為上帝盼人人能明白真到而得救！

 

    求聖靈大大動工，使台灣人能信靠主耶穌，並對上帝存敬畏的心，使上至執政掌權者、下至平民百姓，都悔改歸向上帝！
