路加福音15:3-7

 

  15:3 因此，耶穌給他們講一個比喻： 15:4 「假如你們當中有人有一百隻羊，其中的一隻迷失了，怎麼辦呢？他一定把其他的九十九隻留在草場，去找那隻迷失的，直到找著了為止。 15:5 一旦找著了，他就高興的把羊兒擱在肩膀上， 15:6 帶回家去，然後邀請朋友鄰居，對他們說：『來跟我一起慶祝吧，我那隻迷失的羊兒已經找著了！』 15:7 同樣，我告訴你們，一個罪人的悔改，在天上的喜樂要比已經有了九十九個無需悔改的義人所有的喜樂還大呢！」

   Then Jesus told them this parable: 'Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

      「悔改」是上帝尋找亡羊之方法，因為「悔改」是「使人離開罪惡，歸向上帝」。而且，上帝喜悅我們「悔改」。正如耶穌在此所說：『一個罪人的悔改，在天上的喜樂要比已經有了九十九個無需悔改的義人所有的喜樂還大呢！』

      耶穌設「亡羊的比喻」，使我們看見上帝是多麼喜悅一個人「悔改」。而這些「悔改」的人，是上帝「尋找」回來的。所以，一切都是上的恩典。上帝做這一些是使祂的名得榮耀。

      不僅祂自己尋找亡羊，也呼召我們與祂一同尋找亡羊。這是主賜給我們的大使命，使萬民成為主的門徒。
