37:1 （大衛的詩。）不要為作惡的心懷不平，也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。

「義人」和「惡人」差別在那裡呢？當然是在於有沒有倚靠耶和華為上帝來行善！或許有人說，人不是有能力可以行善嗎？為什麼還要倚靠上帝來行善呢？問題就是出在人根本沒有能力行善，卻又愛自以為是，以自己的努力來取代倚靠上帝，以至於把事情搞砸了，還不知呢！
既然人無法靠己力行善，就要勇敢倚靠上帝，行上帝真正喜悅的事。也因為這樣，我們必須認識到，行善和人蒙救贖一樣，都需要上帝的作為，尤其是聖靈的啟示和賜力量。人若是有能力可以行善，當將榮耀歸給上帝，不是行善的人本身很好、很棒！
保羅也說：「我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是上帝所預備叫我們行的。」（以弗所書2:10）「聖經都是上帝所默示的（或譯：凡上帝所默示的聖經），於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，叫屬上帝的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事！」(提摩太後書3:16-17)
既然一切的美善都來自上帝，讓我們靠上帝來行善吧！
