哥林多前書12:1-11

12:1 弟兄們，論到屬靈的恩賜，我不願意你們不明白。
12:2 你們作外邦人的時候，隨事被牽引，受迷惑，去服事那啞巴偶像，這是你們知道的。
12:3 所以我告訴你們，被上帝的靈感動的，沒有說「耶穌是可咒詛」的；若不是被聖靈感動的，也沒有能說「耶穌是主」的。
12:4 恩賜原有分別，聖靈卻是一位。
12:5 職事也有分別，主卻是一位。
12:6 功用也有分別，上帝卻是一位，在眾人裡面運行一切的事。
12:7 聖靈顯在各人身上，是叫人得益處。
12:8 這人蒙聖靈賜他智慧的言語，那人也蒙這位聖靈賜他知識的言語，
12:9 又有一人蒙這位聖靈賜他信心，還有一人蒙這位聖靈賜他醫病的恩賜，
12:10 又叫一人能行異能，又叫一人能作先知，又叫一人能辨別諸靈，又叫一人能說方言，又叫一人能翻方言。
12:11 這一切都是這位聖靈所運行、隨己意分給各人的。

Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. ² You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. ³ Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

⁴ There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. ⁵ There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. ⁶ There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
⁷ Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. ⁸ To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, ⁹ to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, ¹⁰ to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,^[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.^{[b] 11} All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

    保羅說明聖靈在信徒當中的做為：就是讓信徒認識出「耶穌是主」，因為耶穌是人的樣式顯現在人的面前，若不是聖靈的啟示，人是無法認出祂就是上帝差來的基督，不知祂真為人，也真為上帝！

    聖靈更會在教會中賜下各樣的恩賜，目的就是：「聖靈顯在各人身上，是叫人得益處」。顯明祂是有位格的：「這一切都是這位聖靈所運行、隨己意分給各人的。」

    聖靈既然隨己意分給各人恩賜，也就是告訴我們：恩賜不是學習來的，也不是隨自己的心意求來的，而是要順服聖靈的作為，祂賜下什麼就領受什麼，祂要我們做什麼，就做什麼！因為，聖靈是完全的上帝，就是我們的主！
