26:1 「你進去得了耶和華─你上帝所賜你為業之地居住，
26:2 就要從耶和華─你上帝賜你的地上將所收的各種初熟的土產取些來，盛在筐子裡，往耶和華─你上帝所選擇要立為他名的居所去，
26:3 見當時作祭司的，對他說：『我今日向耶和華─你上帝明認，我已來到耶和華向我們列祖起誓應許賜給我們的地。』
26:4 祭司就從你手裡取過筐子來，放在耶和華─你上帝的壇前。
26:5 你要在耶和華─你上帝面前說：『我祖原是一個將亡的亞蘭人，下到埃及寄居。他人口稀少，在那裡卻成了又大又強、人數很多的國民。
26:6 埃及人惡待我們，苦害我們，將苦工加在我們身上。
26:7 於是我們哀求耶和華─我們列祖的上帝，耶和華聽見我們的聲音，看見我們所受的困苦、勞碌、欺壓，
26:8 他就用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並大可畏的事與神蹟奇事，領我們出了埃及，
26:9 將我們領進這地方，把這流奶與蜜之地賜給我們。
26:10 耶和華啊，現在我把你所賜給我地上初熟的土產奉了來。』隨後你要把筐子放在耶和華─你上帝面前，向耶和華─你的上帝下拜。
26:11 你和利未人，並在你們中間寄居的，要因耶和華─你上帝所賜你和你家的一切福分歡樂。

When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance and have
taken possession of it and settled in it, 2 take some of the firstfruits of all that you
produce from the soil of the land the Lord your God is
giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name 3 and say to the priest in office at the time, “I
declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to
the land the Lord swore to our ancestors to give us.” 4 The
priest shall take the basket from your hands and set it down in front of the
altar of the Lord your God. 5 Then you shall
declare before the Lord your God: “My father was a wandering
Aramean, and he went down into Egypt with a few people and lived there and
became a great nation, powerful and numerous. 6 But
the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer, subjecting us to harsh labor.
7 Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our
voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression. 8 So
the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm,
with great terror and with signs and wonders. 9 He
brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and
honey; 10 and now I bring the
firstfruits of the soil that you, Lord, have given
me.” Place the basket before the Lord your God
and bow down before him. 11 Then you
and the Levites and the foreigners residing among you shall rejoice in all the
good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household.

上帝要以色列人學習感恩，感謝上帝帶領他們出埃及，使他們得著上帝所應許的迦南地，並且有所收穫！尤其是初熟的果子要裝在框子裡面，看見祭司的時候，要對祭司說：「我今日向耶和華─你上帝明認，我已來到耶和華向我們列祖起誓應許賜給我們的地。」
不僅如此，摩西在這裡也將禱詞教導以色列人：「我祖原是一個將亡的亞蘭人，下到埃及寄居。他人口稀少，在那裡卻成了又大又強、人數很多的國民。埃及人惡待我們，苦害我們，將苦工加在我們身上。於是我們哀求耶和華─我們列祖的上帝，耶和華聽見我們的聲音，看見我們所受的困苦、勞碌、欺壓，他就用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並大可畏的事與神蹟奇事，領我們出了埃及，將我們領進這地方，把這流奶與蜜之地賜給我們。耶和華啊，現在我把你所賜給我地上初熟的土產奉了來。」
他們來奉獻出熟的果子之外，還要和祭司以及寄居的一起歡樂！讓我們看見，上帝要以色列人學習分享，尤其要使沒有產業的人一同受到照顧，這是上帝平均貧富的一個很重要的原則，這個原則也影響到今日得教會，願主保守教會也有分享的文化，使大家都不缺乏，感受到上帝的眷顧，歸榮耀給上帝！
