27:1 摩西和以色列的眾長老吩咐百姓說：「你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命。
27:2 你們過約旦河，到了耶和華─你上帝所賜給你的地，當天要立起幾塊大石頭，墁上石灰，
27:3 把這律法的一切話寫在石頭上。你過了河，可以進入耶和華─你上帝所賜你流奶與蜜之地，正如耶和華─你列祖之上帝所應許你的。
27:4 你們過了約旦河，就要在以巴路山上照我今日所吩咐的，將這些石頭立起來，墁上石灰。
27:5 在那裡要為耶和華─你的上帝築一座石壇；在石頭上不可動鐵器。
27:6 要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華─你上帝的壇，在壇上要將燔祭獻給耶和華─你的上帝。
27:7 又要獻平安祭，且在那裡吃，在耶和華─你的上帝面前歡樂。
27:8 你要將這律法的一切話明明地寫在石頭上。」

Moses and the elders of
Israel commanded the people: “Keep all these commands that I give you today. 2 When you
have crossed the Jordan into the land the Lord your God is
giving you, set up some large stones and coat them with plaster. 3 Write on them all the words
of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as
the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. 4 And when you have crossed the
Jordan, set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I command you today, and coat
them with plaster. 5 Build
there an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones.
Do not use any iron tool on them. 6 Build the altar of the Lord your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God. 7 Sacrifice
fellowship offerings there, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the Lord your God. 8 And
you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have
set up.”

摩西向百姓宣告如何準備獻祭給上帝的祭壇，要求百姓：要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華─你上帝的壇！可見上帝不喜歡人用自己的力量來是奉上帝，而是上帝要親自來親近人！
我們禮拜也是這個原則，我們不必為自己預備祭牲，是耶穌基督親自成為祭牲，更是自己成為祭司，將自己如無瑕疵的羔羊獻上！也因為這樣上帝的心，真正喜悅！所以，祂透過耶穌基督與我們和好，接納我們成為兒女！
親愛的弟兄姊妹，我們要因為基督耶穌的緣故，來到上帝面前獻上感謝為祭，並且樂意遵行上帝旨意為活祭，這樣的活祭就是在基督裡尊上帝為大，感謝上帝接納我們成為兒女，並為此作見證，這就是我們的敬拜！
