路加福音18:35-43

 

18:35 耶穌將近耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎子坐在路旁討飯。
18:36 聽見許多人經過，就問是甚麼事。
18:37 他們告訴他，是拿撒勒人耶穌經過。
18:38 他就呼叫說：「大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！」
18:39 在前頭走的人就責備他，不許他作聲；他卻越發喊叫說：「大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！」
18:40 耶穌站住，吩咐把他領過來，到了跟前，就問他說：
18:41 「你要我為你做甚麼？」他說：「主啊，我要能看見。」
18:42 耶穌說：「你可以看見！你的信救了你了。」
18:43 瞎子立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，一路歸榮耀與上帝。眾人看見這事，也讚美上帝。

 

³⁵ As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. ³⁶ When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. ³⁷ They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”

³⁸ He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

³⁹ Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

⁴⁰ Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, ⁴¹ “What do you want me to do for you?”

“Lord, I want to see,” he replied.

⁴² Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” ⁴³ Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.
