3:7 萬軍之耶和華說：從你們列祖的日子以來，你們常常偏離我的典章而不遵守。現在你們要轉向我，我就轉向你們。你們卻問說：『我們如何才是轉向呢？』
3:8 人豈可奪取上帝之物呢？你們竟奪取我的供物。你們卻說：『我們在何事上奪取你的供物呢？』就是你們在當納的十分之一和當獻的供物上。
3:9 因你們通國的人都奪取我的供物，咒詛就臨到你們身上。
3:10 萬軍之耶和華說：你們要將當納的十分之一全然送入倉庫，使我家有糧，以此試試我，是否為你們敞開天上的窗戶，傾福與你們，甚至無處可容。
3:11 萬軍之耶和華說：我必為你們斥責蝗蟲（原文是吞噬者），不容牠毀壞你們的土產。你們田間的葡萄樹在未熟之先也不掉果子。
3:12 萬軍之耶和華說：萬國必稱你們為有福的，因你們的地必成為喜樂之地。」
From the days of your fathers you have
turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will
return to you, says the Lord of hosts. But you say, 'How shall we return? ' Will
man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, 'How have we robbed you? ' In
your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing
me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that
there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of
hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a
blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so
that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field
shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts. Then all nations will call you
blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts.

雖然「十一奉獻」是我們當納的，但是我們願意遵守，就必大大蒙福！我們這樣做不是數量的多少，而是心中的敬畏之表現！上帝樂意我們有一顆敬畏的心，一生一世來跟隨祂，走蒙福的路！
