4:8 耶和華的話又臨到我說：
4:9 「所羅巴伯的手立了這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這工，你就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裡來了。
4:10 誰藐視這日的事為小呢？這七眼乃是耶和華的眼睛，遍察全地，見所羅巴伯手拿線鉈就歡喜。」
4:11 我又問天使說：「這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？」
4:12 我二次問他說：「這兩根橄欖枝在兩個流出金色油的金嘴旁邊是甚麼意思？」
4:13 他對我說：「你不知道這是甚麼意思麼？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」
4:14 他說：「這是兩個受膏者站在普天下主的旁邊。」
Then the word of the Lord came to me,
saying, "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house;
his hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has
sent me to you. For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice,
and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
"These seven are the eyes of the Lord,
which range through the whole earth." Then I said to him, "What are these two
olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?" And a second time
I answered and said to him, "What are these two branches of the olive
trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is
poured out?" He said to me,
"Do you not know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord." Then
he said, "These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the
whole earth."

所羅巴伯和約書亞，兩個受膏者站在普天下主的旁邊，成為上帝的代表，要重建耶路撒冷，使上帝的帳幕在人間。雖然他們是軟弱與有罪的人，但是上帝要使用他們！
正如今日，我們在基督裡，雖然也是軟弱與有罪的人，可使上帝卻要使用我們這些卑微的人，來彰顯他的榮耀，而成為尊貴的人！
因此，不是我們比別人好，完全是上帝的恩典，肯使用我們成為祂榮耀的出口！
