13:1 耶和華的話臨到我說：
13:2 「人子啊，你要說預言攻擊以色列中說預言的先知，對那些本己心發預言的說：『你們當聽耶和華的話。』」
13:3 主耶和華如此說：「愚頑的先知有禍了，他們隨從自己的心意，卻一無所見。
13:4 以色列啊，你的先知好像荒場中的狐狸，
13:5 沒有上去堵擋破口，也沒有為以色列家重修牆垣，使他們當耶和華的日子在陣上站立得住。
13:6 這些人所見的是虛假，是謊詐的占卜。他們說是耶和華說的，其實耶和華並沒有差遣他們，他們倒使人指望那話必然立定。
13:7 你們豈不是見了虛假的異象嗎？豈不是說了謊詐的占卜嗎？你們說，這是耶和華說的，其實我沒有說。」
13:8 所以主耶和華如此說：「因你們說的是虛假，見的是謊詐，我就與你們反對。這是主耶和華說的。
13:9 我的手必攻擊那見虛假異象、用謊詐占卜的先知，他們必不列在我百姓的會中，不錄在以色列家的冊上，也不進入以色列地；你們就知道我是主耶和華。
13:10 因為他們誘惑我的百姓，說：『平安！』其實沒有平安，就像有人立起牆壁，他們倒用未泡透的灰抹上。
13:11 所以你要對那些抹上未泡透灰的人說：『牆要倒塌，必有暴雨漫過。大冰雹啊，你們要降下，狂風也要吹裂這牆。』
13:12 這牆倒塌之後，人豈不問你們說：『你們抹上未泡透的灰在哪裡呢？』」
13:13 所以主耶和華如此說：「我要發怒，使狂風吹裂這牆，在怒中使暴雨漫過，又發怒降下大冰雹，毀滅這牆。
13:14 我要這樣拆毀你們那未泡透灰所抹的牆，拆平到地，以致根基露出，牆必倒塌，你們也必在其中滅亡；你們就知道我是耶和華。
13:15 我要這樣向牆和用未泡透灰抹牆的人成就我怒中所定的，並要對你們說：『牆和抹牆的人都沒有了。』
13:16 這抹牆的就是以色列的先知，他們指著耶路撒冷說預言，為這城見了平安的異象，其實沒有平安。這是主耶和華說的。」
1 The word of the Lord came to me:2
"Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying,
and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts:'Hear the word of the Lord!
' 3 Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit,
and have seen nothing! 4 Your prophets have been like jackals among ruins, O
Israel. 5 You have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the
house of Israel, that it might stand in battle in the day of the Lord. 6 They
have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'Declares the Lord, '
when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.
7 Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, whenever you
have said, 'Declares the Lord, ' although I have not spoken?"
8 Therefore thus says the Lord
God:"Because you have uttered falsehood and seen lying visions, therefore
behold, I am against you, declares the Lord God. My hand will be against the
prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not
be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of
Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am
the Lord God. 10 Precisely because they have misled my people, saying, 'Peace,'
when there is no peace, and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets
smear it with whitewash, 11 say to those who smear it with whitewash that it
shall fall! There will be a deluge of rain, and you, O great hailstones, will
fall, and a stormy wind break out. 12 And when the wall falls, will it not be
said to you, 'Where is the coating with which you smeared it? ' 13 Therefore
thus says the Lord God: I will make a stormy wind break out in my wrath, and
there shall be a deluge of rain in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to
make a full end. 14 And I will break down the wall that you have smeared with
whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be laid
bare. When it falls, you shall perish in the midst of it, and you shall know
that I am the Lord. 15 Thus will I spend my wrath upon the wall and upon those
who have smeared it with whitewash, and I will say to you, The wall is no more,
nor those who smeared it, 16 the prophets of Israel who prophesied concerning
Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her, when there was no peace, declares the
Lord God.

真先知常常會遇到假先知對抗的問題，連以西結也遇到這樣的問題。而假先知通常是為了自己的利益說假的預言，來討好當時的人。以至於有些人利用這種特質，將錢給先知，要先知說他們要說的話來蠱惑人心。
說到這裡，傳講上帝的話語的人必須中心傳講上帝的話，這是我們必須要的基本認識，不是為了肚腹，不可討好人，要堅持牧者的使命。因為上帝將教會交託給我們，這一群人是用基督寶血贖回來的，上帝看為寶貝，不能讓他們沉淪。
讓我們每一個傳道者，都成為真先知，讓上帝的話從我們中間流出，使弟兄姊妹的生命獲得餵養與更新，這才才沒有虧負上帝的選召。
