使徒行傳1:1-11

 


1:1 提阿非羅啊,我已經作了前書,論到耶穌開頭一切所行所教訓的,
1:2
直到他藉著聖靈吩咐所揀選的使徒,以後被接上升的日子為止。
1:3
他受害之後,用許多的憑據將自己活活地顯給使徒看,四十天之久向他們顯現,講說上帝國的事。

耶穌和他們聚集的時候,囑咐他們說:「不要離開耶路撒冷,要等候父所應許的,就是你們聽見我說過的。
1:5
約翰是用水施洗,但不多幾日,你們要受聖靈的洗。」
1:6
他們聚集的時候,問耶穌說:「主啊,你復興以色列國就在這時候嗎?」
1:7
耶穌對他們說:「父憑著自己的權柄所定的時候、日期,不是你們可以知道的。
1:8
但聖靈降臨在你們身上,你們就必得著能力,並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地,和撒馬利亞,直到地極,作我的見證。」
1:9
說了這話,他們正看的時候,他就被取上升,有一朵雲彩把他接去,便看不見他了。
1:10
當他往上去,他們定睛望天的時候,忽然有兩個人身穿白衣,站在旁邊,說:

「加利利人哪,你們為甚麼站著望天呢?這離開你們被接升天的耶穌,你們見他怎樣往天上去,他還要怎樣來。」

 

 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with[a] water, but in a few days you will be baptized with[b] the Holy Spirit.”

Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

    從這段經文的敘述我們會接受路加福音使徒行傳的作只是同一人而且這兩卷書是相連的而且寫作對象是相同的就是「提阿非羅」(《路加福音》稱為「提阿非羅大人」)。然而「提阿非羅」的意思是「上帝的朋友」,有可能是指一群對上帝的真道有渴慕的人,也可能單指一人。不過這兩卷書的確像史學家的筆觸,有可能向一位有學問的「希臘人」介紹耶穌基督。

 

    前書(《路加福音》)敘述耶穌基督的生平,後書(《使徒行傳》)使讀者之道福音如何傳揚出去,尤其是由猶太人到外邦人,還有教會的建立,以及保羅等使徒如何向當權者見證主耶穌。

 

    當然使徒行傳是從主耶穌復活升天和聖靈降臨說起教會也是在這樣的情況被建立起來!求主幫助,讓我們讀《使徒行傳》不只緬懷過去,更要盼望將來:「加利利人哪,你們為甚麼站著望天呢?這離開你們被接升天的耶穌,你們見他怎樣往天上去,他還要怎樣來。」
