哥林多前書10:1-13

10:1 弟兄們，我不願意你們不曉得，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過，
10:2 都在雲裡、海裡受洗歸了摩西；
10:3 並且都吃了一樣的靈食，
10:4 也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的，是出於隨著他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。
10:5 但他們中間多半是上帝不喜歡的人，所以在曠野倒斃。
10:6 這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的；
10:7 也不要拜偶像，像他們有人拜的。如經上所記：「百姓坐下吃喝，起來玩耍。」
10:8 我們也不要行姦淫，像他們有人行的，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人；
10:9 也不要試探主（有古卷：基督），像他們有人試探的，就被蛇所滅。
10:10 你們也不要發怨言，像他們有發怨言的，就被滅命的所滅。
10:11 他們遭遇這些事都要作為鑑戒，並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。
10:12 所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。
10:13 你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。上帝是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。

 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. ² They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. ³ They all ate the same spiritual food ⁴ and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. ⁵ Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.

⁶ Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. ⁷ Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”^{[a] 8} We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. ⁹ We should not test Christ,^[b] as some of them did—and were killed by snakes. ¹⁰ And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel.
¹¹ These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. ¹² So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! ¹³ No temptation^[c] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted^[d] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,^[e] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

          保羅用警戒的口吻，來對哥林多教會的信徒說明，以色列人出埃及以後的事情。讓我們聽了也十分警戒，因為在這一群出埃及的以色列人，並沒有全部進入迦南之地。雖然他們經歷上帝透過摩西所行的神蹟，吃過嗎哪，喝過磐石出來的水。但是他們因為不信，得罪了上帝，以致於倒斃在曠野。

    保羅為了讓哥林多教會知道，我們不注重教會的懲戒，會遭受上帝的震怒，所以特別吩咐：「這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的；」「他們遭遇這些事都要作為鑑戒，並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。」

    保羅除了說到上帝震怒的一面，也說到上帝的保守與慈愛：「你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。上帝是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。」

    這也提醒我們，不是靠自己的力量抵擋罪惡，事要靠上帝勝過試探，不要犯罪，使我們維持與上帝有正確合宜的關係！

箴言18:20

人口中所結的果子，必充滿肚腹；他嘴所出的，必使他飽足。

From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled;
    with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.

    自己曾經當過業務員，發現說話的確會使人的財富增加，使個人經濟能力得以提升，尤其是締結別人的買賣，使人雙贏，加上自己也就贏了。所以，業務員通常以「三贏」來自許。

    基督徒也要做「三贏」的事，使上帝贏、聽福音的人也贏、傳福音的也贏！其實這樣的「三贏」是成立的，是來自主耶穌在十字架上已經贏過魔鬼，所以上帝和祂的子民也都是贏！

    既然如此，我們就勇敢邀請人來參加這個「贏」的行列，使他們也靠著耶穌基督贏得永生！

箴言18:19

弟兄結怨，勸他和好，比取堅固城還難；這樣的爭競如同堅寨的門閂。

A brother wronged is more unyielding than a fortified city;
    disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel.

    兄弟發生爭吵是最不容易復和的，一定彼此都非常在意對方的虧欠，這樣的在意竟然連親情都不顧了，表是是非常堅定在心中，是外人無法勸告的，怪不得是「弟兄結怨，勸他和好，比取堅固城還難」！

    更可怕的是「這樣的爭競如同堅寨的門閂」，是無法讓人功入其中。記得在湖口牧會時，有位退休傳道，想使為財產鬧翻的兩兄弟和好，弄到最後不但沒有使兩方和好，自己更是捲入其中。事後我們要處理也很困難，因為彼此的怨恨還在。所以，對於兄弟爭吵的事，一定要慎重處理，不要想一定會成功。

    當然禱告很重要，使雙方都能被主的愛來軟化。我們不能勸說兄弟要相敬愛，因為這兩方都有怨懟時，實在是不可能！所以，唯有主的愛來感動才有辦法，這就是需要福音的大能了！

箴言18:18

掣籤能止息爭競，也能解散強勝的人。

Casting the lot settles disputes
    and keeps strong opponents apart.

    「掣籤」在人看來是很公平，結果是上帝決定的，大家都沒話說，所以可以止息不必要的爭競。這也是告訴我們處理事情要有一點智慧，不然會讓自己限制，無法伸展上帝要我們做的事情。

    面對強大的勢力更是需要倚靠上帝的大能來處理，所以「掣籤」的公平性是大家能接受的，也是張顯上帝大能的手法，是一個不錯的辦法。但是，這樣的方法不能太早用，會讓人覺得無能，非必要時不要隨便用。

    在用此法之前，先存敬畏的心，心尋求上帝的心意，是比較好的。畢竟，這是最後一步，不能太早或隨便用，使人失去敬畏上帝的心。

                          

哥林多前書8:7-13

8:7 但人不都有這等知識。有人到如今因拜慣了偶像，就以為所吃的是祭偶像之物。他們的良心既然軟弱，也就污穢了。
8:8 其實食物不能叫上帝看中我們，因為我們不吃也無損，吃也無益。
8:9 只是你們要謹慎，恐怕你們這自由竟成了那軟弱人的絆腳石。
8:10 若有人見你這有知識的，在偶像的廟裡坐席，這人的良心若是軟弱，豈不放膽去吃那祭偶像之物嗎？
8:11 因此，基督為他死的那軟弱弟兄，也就因你的知識沉淪了。
8:12 你們這樣得罪弟兄們，傷了他們軟弱的良心，就是得罪基督。
8:13 所以，食物若叫我弟兄跌倒，我就永遠不吃肉，免得叫我弟兄跌倒了。

 ⁷ But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. ⁸ But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
⁹ Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. ¹⁰ For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? ¹¹ So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. ¹² When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. ¹³ Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.

    保羅在此警告自以為有知識的信徒，不要以為靠知識支持，可以吃祭偶像之物，就放心的吃，不顧其他信心軟弱的弟兄姊妹。他們看見有人吃祭偶像之物，以致於他們也吃了，可是內心卻覺得不平安，覺得自己得罪上帝了！

    這有就是說，有人因為知識所帶來的自由，卻造成別人的不平安，就是傷了軟弱的良心！就如保羅所說的：「基督為他死的那軟弱弟兄，也就因你的知識沉淪了。你們這樣得罪弟兄們，傷了他們軟弱的良心，就是得罪基督。」

    所以，我們不能因為自己有知識，就自以為我們有權力可以做什麼，反到要謙卑善用知識來幫助人。但是不可以知識就是真理，反到要顧及軟弱的弟兄姊妹，使他們不因為我們的知識遠離上帝，反到要用知是使他們親近上帝。就如「因信稱義」，可以使他們享受福音的自由，不受到罪惡和律法的權勢壓迫，就要勇敢傳講！
