約翰福音14:5-14

 

14:5 多馬對他說：「主啊，我們不知道你往哪裡去，怎麼知道那條路呢？」
14:6 耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡去。
14:7 你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。從今以後，你們認識他，並且已經看見他。」
14:8 腓力對他說：「求主將父顯給我們看，我們就知足了。」
14:9 耶穌對他說：「腓力，我與你們同在這樣長久，你還不認識我嗎？人看見了我，就是看見了父；你怎麼說『將父顯給我們看』呢？
14:10 我在父裡面，父在我裡面，你不信嗎？我對你們所說的話，不是憑著自己說的，乃是住在我裡面的父做他自己的事。
14:11 你們當信我，我在父裡面，父在我裡面；即或不信，也當因我所做的事信我。
14:12 我實實在在地告訴你們，我所做的事，信我的人也要做，並且要做比這更大的事，因為我往父那裡去。
14:13 你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必成就，叫父因兒子得榮耀。
14:14 你們若奉我的名求甚麼，我必成就。」

 

⁵ Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

⁶ Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ⁷ If you really know me, you will know^[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

⁸ Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

⁹ Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ¹⁰ Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. ¹¹ Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. ¹² Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. ¹³ And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

    主耶穌在這裡向門徒說明自己和父的關係，讓我們感受到父與子有美好的交通，是和諧的合一，不是緊張的互相競爭。並且向門徒說到，唯有透過耶穌基督人才可以認識父！

 

    認識父不是靠想像，不是靠人的論述，而是藉由耶穌基督，這是唯一的道路！雖然上帝是不可見，但是主耶穌基督卻讓父在祂身上彰顯，成為可見得！正如祂與門徒的對話：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡去。你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。從今以後，你們認識他，並且已經看見他。」「我與你們同在這樣長久，你還不認識我嗎？人看見了我，就是看見了父」

 

    不僅如此，我們禱告更是要奉主耶穌的名，正如主耶穌對門徒說：「你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必成就，叫父因兒子得榮耀。你們若奉我的名求甚麼，我必成就。」

 

    也因為如此，我們要常常在聖靈的引導下，讓耶穌基督的救恩成就在我們的身上，靠主耶穌與上帝親近！

 

 

 

歷代志下22:10-12

 

22:10 亞哈謝的母親亞她利雅見她兒子死了，就起來剿滅猶大王室。
22:11 但王的女兒約示巴將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從那被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裡。約示巴是約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹子，祭司耶何耶大的妻。她收藏約阿施，躲避亞她利雅，免得被殺。
22:12 約阿施和她們一同藏在上帝殿裡六年；亞她利雅篡了國位。

 

¹⁰ When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she proceeded to destroy the whole royal family of the house of Judah. ¹¹ But Jehosheba,^[e] the daughter of King Jehoram, took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the royal princes who were about to be murdered and put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Because Jehosheba,^[f] the daughter of King Jehoram and wife of the priest Jehoiada, was Ahaziah’s sister, she hid the child from Athaliah so she could not kill him. ¹² He remained hidden with them at the temple of God for six years while Athaliah ruled the land.

    亞她利雅更可怕的作為，就是她兒子亞哈謝死了，就起來剿滅猶大王室。

 

    然而上帝仍然保守大衛家 ，就是透過約示巴將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從那被殺的王子中偷出來，把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裡。她是祭司耶何耶大的妻，她收藏約阿施，躲避亞她利雅，免得被殺。

 

    在亞她利雅篡了國位的期間，約阿施藏在上帝殿裡六年！這是上帝奇妙的作為，讓我們再一次感受「上帝恆保守」！尤其是在預備基督這事上，更是如此！

22:1 耶路撒冷的居民立約蘭的小兒子亞哈謝接續他作王；因為跟隨阿拉伯人來攻營的軍兵曾殺了亞哈謝的眾兄長。這樣，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝作了王。
22:2 亞哈謝登基的時候年四十二歲（列王下八章二十六節是二十二歲），在耶路撒冷作王一年。他母親名叫亞她利雅，是暗利的孫女。
22:3 亞哈謝也行亞哈家的道；因為他母親給他主謀，使他行惡。
22:4 他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，像亞哈家一樣；因他父親死後有亞哈家的人給他主謀，以致敗壞。
22:5 他聽從亞哈家的計謀，同以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭往基列的拉末去，與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰；亞蘭人打傷了約蘭。
22:6 約蘭回到耶斯列，醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗所受的傷，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞撒利雅（就是亞哈謝）因為亞哈的兒子約蘭病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。
22:7 亞哈謝去見約蘭就被害了，這是出乎上帝；因為他到了，就同約蘭出去攻擊寧示的孫子耶戶。這耶戶是耶和華所膏、使他剪除亞哈家的。
22:8 耶戶討亞哈家罪的時候，遇見猶大的眾首領和亞哈謝的眾姪子服事亞哈謝，就把他們都殺了。
22:9 亞哈謝藏在撒馬利亞，耶戶尋找他，眾人將他拿住，送到耶戶那裡，就殺了他，將他葬埋；因他們說，他是那盡心尋求耶和華之約沙法的兒子。這樣，亞哈謝的家無力保守國權。

 

The people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, Jehoram’s youngest son, king in his place, since the raiders, who came with the Arabs into the camp, had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah son of Jehoram king of Judah began to reign.

² Ahaziah was twenty-two^[a] years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year. His mother’s name was Athaliah, a granddaughter of Omri.

³ He too followed the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother encouraged him to act wickedly. ⁴ He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for after his father’s death they became his advisers, to his undoing. ⁵ He also followed their counsel when he went with Joram^[b] son of Ahab king of Israel to wage war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram; ⁶ so he returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds they had inflicted on him at Ramoth^[c] in his battle with Hazael king of Aram.

Then Ahaziah^[d] son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab because he had been wounded.

⁷ Through Ahaziah’s visit to Joram, God brought about Ahaziah’s downfall. When Ahaziah arrived, he went out with Joram to meet Jehu son of Nimshi, whom the Lord had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab. ⁸ While Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he found the officials of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah’s relatives, who had been attending Ahaziah, and he killed them. ⁹ He then went in search of Ahaziah, and his men captured him while he was hiding in Samaria. He was brought to Jehu and put to death. They buried him, for they said, “He was a son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the Lord with all his heart.” So there was no one in the house of Ahaziah powerful enough to retain the kingdom.

    大衛家受亞她利雅的影響，離開耶和華走向敗亡的道路，王和王子都遭難！

 

 

 

約翰福音13:31-38

 

13:31 他既出去，耶穌就說：「如今人子得了榮耀，上帝在人子身上也得了榮耀。
13:32 上帝要因自己榮耀人子，並且要快快地榮耀他。
13:33 小子們，我還有不多的時候與你們同在；後來你們要找我，但我所去的地方你們不能到。這話我曾對猶太人說過，如今也照樣對你們說。
13:34 我賜給你們一條新命令，乃是叫你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛。
13:35 你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」
13:36 西門•彼得問耶穌說：「主往哪裡去？」耶穌回答說：「我所去的地方，你現在不能跟我去，後來卻要跟我去。」
13:37 彼得說：「主啊，我為甚麼現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命！」
13:38 耶穌說：「你願意為我捨命嗎？我實實在在地告訴你，雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」

 

³¹ When he was gone, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him. ³² If God is glorified in him,^[c] God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.

³³ “My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

³⁴ “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. ³⁵ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

³⁶ Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?”

Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”

³⁷ Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

³⁸ Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!

    在主耶穌在猶大離開以後，教導其餘的門徒：「我賜給你們一條新命令，乃是叫你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛。你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」

 

    今日我們也以此為「新的誡命」教導教會的弟兄姊妹要彼此相愛，但是這條誡命的基礎是建立在「主耶穌的愛」，正如主自己說：「我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛。」

 

    而主耶穌在這時候也警告彼得：「你願意為我捨命嗎？我實實在在地告訴你，雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」

 

    之所以如此說，是因彼得以為是的說：「主啊，我為甚麼現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命！」

 

    我們真的不可以憑自己的熱心來事奉主，反倒要謙卑倚靠主！
