11:18 「你們要將我這話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文；
11:19 也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裡，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論；
11:20 又要寫在房屋的門框上，並城門上，
11:21 使你們和你們子孫的日子在耶和華向你們列祖起誓、應許給他們的地上得以增多，如天覆地的日子那樣多。
11:22 你們若留意謹守遵行我所吩咐這一切的誡命，愛耶和華─你們的上帝，行他的道，專靠他，
11:23 他必從你們面前趕出這一切國民，就是比你們更大更強的國民，你們也要得他們的地。
11:24 凡你們腳掌所踏之地都必歸你們；從曠野和黎巴嫩，並幼發拉底大河，直到西海，都要作你們的境界。
11:25 必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華─你們的上帝必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏之地的居民。
18 Fix these words of mine in
your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your
foreheads. 19 Teach
them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you
walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and
on your gates, 21 so that your days and
the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens
are above the earth.
22 If you carefully observe all these commands
I am giving you to follow—to love the Lord your God,
to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him— 23 then
the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will
dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. 24 Every
place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from
the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.
25 No one will be able to stand against you.
The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you
on the whole land, wherever you go.

以色列人顯明是上的子民之記號就是遵行上帝的律法。然而如何遵行呢？就是要透過對上帝的律法的認識，如何認識呢？就是「你們要將我這話存在心內，留在意中，繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文；也要教訓你們的兒女，無論坐在家裡，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論；又要寫在房屋的門框上，並城門上。」
這也就是說要讓自己浸潤在上帝的話語中，自然而然上帝的話也就進入我們的生命之中，這是非常重要的原則！也唯有如此，我們才可以自然而然遵行上帝的命令。
因著有上帝同在的記號，上帝就會在前面為我們開路，會讓一切反對上帝的對敵感到壓力和懼怕，因為上帝確確實實是有大能大力，是人無法敵擋的！我們若順服走在上帝的行列中，我們也是得勝的！因為最終的勝利是屬於上帝和祂的子民的！
