主所應許的尚未成就，有人以為他是耽延，其實不是耽延，乃是寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改。
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

從彼得這一段話讓我們感受到上帝的憐憫與慈愛，因為上帝不願意一人沉淪，甚願每一個人都能夠脫離罪惡的轄制，歸向上帝。
這讓我們感受到：上帝是出於愛來救贖我們，不僅救我們脫離罪惡，更接納我們成為兒女，使我們可以得著屬於基督的榮耀。
求主幫助我們來珍惜這份愛，以敬畏的心來回應上帝的愛！
