約翰福音4:43-54

 

4:43 過了那兩天，耶穌離了那地方，往加利利去。
4:44 因為耶穌自己作過見證說：「先知在本地是沒有人尊敬的。」
4:45 到了加利利，加利利人既然看見他在耶路撒冷過節所行的一切事，就接待他，因為他們也是上去過節。
4:46 耶穌又到了加利利的迦拿，就是他從前變水為酒的地方。有一個大臣，他的兒子在迦百農患病。
4:47 他聽見耶穌從猶太到了加利利，就來見他，求他下去醫治他的兒子，因為他兒子快要死了。
4:48 耶穌就對他說：「若不看見神蹟奇事，你們總是不信。」
4:49 那大臣說：「先生，求你趁著我的孩子還沒有死就下去。」
4:50 耶穌對他說：「回去吧，你的兒子活了！」那人信耶穌所說的話就回去了。
4:51 正下去的時候，他的僕人迎見他，說他的兒子活了。
4:52 他就問甚麼時候見好的。他們說：「昨日未時熱就退了。」
4:53 他便知道這正是耶穌對他說「你兒子活了」的時候；他自己和全家就都信了。
4:54 這是耶穌在加利利行的第二件神蹟，是他從猶太回去以後行的。

 

⁴³ After the two days he left for Galilee. ⁴⁴ (Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country.) ⁴⁵ When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him. They had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, for they also had been there.

⁴⁶ Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. ⁴⁷ When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death.

⁴⁸ “Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.”

⁴⁹ The royal official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”

⁵⁰ “Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”

The man took Jesus at his word and departed. ⁵¹ While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. ⁵² When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “Yesterday, at one in the afternoon, the fever left him.”

⁵³ Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and his whole household believed.

⁵⁴ This was the second sign Jesus performed after coming from Judea to Galilee.

    主耶穌並不排除行神蹟，因為對於猶太人還是有一個重要的原則：「若不看見神蹟奇事，你們總是不信。」

 

    這也是為什麼主耶穌要在加利利的迦拿行了兩次神蹟，這次是為了醫治大臣的兒子。當然我們也可以說，大臣因為信參與了主耶穌行奇蹟的大事，正如經文說到：「耶穌對他說：『回去吧，你的兒子活了！」那人信耶穌所說的話就回去了！」

 

    然而他回到家就有好消息：「你兒子活了！」

 

    是的，這是主耶穌主動的作為，我們透過信心來領受！我們當感謝上帝這樣莫大的恩典，要不是祂的主動拯救，我們就無法享受永生無限！

 

 

 

 

約翰福音4:39-42

 

4:39 那城裡有好些撒馬利亞人信了耶穌，因為那婦人作見證說：「他將我素來所行的一切事都給我說出來了。」
4:40 於是撒馬利亞人來見耶穌，求他在他們那裡住下，他便在那裡住了兩天。
4:41 因耶穌的話，信的人就更多了，
4:42 便對婦人說：「現在我們信，不是因為你的話，是我們親自聽見了，知道這真是救世主。」

 

³⁹ Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” ⁴⁰ So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. ⁴¹ And because of his words many more became believers.

⁴² They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

    人會信主耶穌，不一定是講員講的道感動人，或是做見證的人很有號召力，而是主耶穌在聖靈裡親自動工，正如這一群撒馬利亞人說的：「現在我們信，不是因為你的話，是我們親自聽見了，知道這真是救世主。」

 

    也因為這樣，人信主是上帝的恩典！正如救恩的五個步驟：

約翰福音4:27-38

 

4:27 當下門徒回來，就希奇耶穌和一個婦人說話；只是沒有人說：「你是要甚麼？」或說：「你為甚麼和她說話？」
4:28 那婦人就留下水罐子，往城裡去，對眾人說：
4:29 「你們來看！有一個人將我素來所行的一切事都給我說出來了，莫非這就是基督嗎？」
4:30 眾人就出城，往耶穌那裡去。
4:31 這其間，門徒對耶穌說：「拉比，請吃。」
4:32 耶穌說：「我有食物吃，是你們不知道的。」
4:33 門徒就彼此對問說：「莫非有人拿甚麼給他吃嗎？」
4:34 耶穌說：「我的食物就是遵行差我來者的旨意，做成他的工。
4:35 你們豈不說『到收割的時候還有四個月』嗎？我告訴你們，舉目向田觀看，莊稼已經熟了（原文是發白），可以收割了。
4:36 收割的人得工價，積蓄五穀到永生，叫撒種的和收割的一同快樂。
4:37 俗語說：『那人撒種，這人收割』，這話可見是真的。
4:38 我差你們去收你們所沒有勞苦的；別人勞苦，你們享受他們所勞苦的。」

 

²⁷ Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”

²⁸ Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, ²⁹ “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” ³⁰ They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

³¹ Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

³² But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

³³ Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”

³⁴ “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. ³⁵ Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. ³⁶ Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. ³⁷ Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. ³⁸ I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

    主耶穌在這裡教導門徒：「我的食物就是遵行差我來者的旨意，做成他的工。」

 

    我們若沒有用這樣的心態服事，我們常常是為了肚腹來服事，弄錯了服事的目的，以至於不能體貼聖靈的心意，反而聽貼肉體的需要。以因為這樣，怕得罪人而不敢說該說的話，一味討好人！這樣的作法，就像古時以色列的假先知，不是說上帝要他們說的話，而是說人喜歡聽的話！

 

    今日有許多教會只看虛假的數目，認為教會的人數和奉獻很多，就是教會很興旺！其實主耶穌要的教會不是虛假的數字，而是實際生命的更新，也因此上帝的話語再叫輝的宣講是很重要的！

約翰福音4:1-26

 

4:1 主知道法利賽人聽見他收門徒，施洗，比約翰還多，
4:2 （其實不是耶穌親自施洗，乃是他的門徒施洗，）
4:3 他就離了猶太，又往加利利去。
4:4 必須經過撒馬利亞，
4:5 於是到了撒馬利亞的一座城，名叫敘加，靠近雅各給他兒子約瑟的那塊地。
4:6 在那裡有雅各井；耶穌因走路困乏，就坐在井旁。那時約有午正。
4:7 有一個撒馬利亞的婦人來打水。耶穌對她說：「請你給我水喝。」
4:8 （那時門徒進城買食物去了。）
4:9 撒馬利亞的婦人對他說：「你既是猶太人，怎麼向我一個撒馬利亞婦人要水喝呢？」原來猶太人和撒馬利亞人沒有來往。
4:10 耶穌回答說：「你若知道上帝的恩賜，和對你說『給我水喝』的是誰，你必早求他，他也必早給了你活水。」
4:11 婦人說：「先生，沒有打水的器具，井又深，你從哪裡得活水呢？
4:12 我們的祖宗雅各將這井留給我們，他自己和兒子並牲畜也都喝這井裡的水，難道你比他還大嗎？」
4:13 耶穌回答說：「凡喝這水的還要再渴；
4:14 人若喝我所賜的水就永遠不渴。我所賜的水要在他裡頭成為泉源，直湧到永生。」
4:15 婦人說：「先生，請把這水賜給我，叫我不渴，也不用來這麼遠打水。」
4:16 耶穌說：「你去叫你丈夫也到這裡來。」
4:17 婦人說：「我沒有丈夫。」耶穌說：「你說沒有丈夫是不錯的。
4:18 你已經有五個丈夫，你現在有的並不是你的丈夫。你這話是真的。」
4:19 婦人說：「先生，我看出你是先知。
4:20 我們的祖宗在這山上禮拜，你們倒說，應當禮拜的地方是在耶路撒冷。」
4:21 耶穌說：「婦人，你當信我。時候將到，你們拜父，也不在這山上，也不在耶路撒冷。
4:22 你們所拜的，你們不知道；我們所拜的，我們知道，因為救恩是從猶太人出來的。
4:23 時候將到，如今就是了，那真正拜父的，要用心靈和誠實拜他，因為父要這樣的人拜他。
4:24 上帝是個靈（或無個字），所以拜他的必須用心靈和誠實拜他。」
4:25 婦人說：「我知道彌賽亞（就是那稱為基督的）要來；他來了，必將一切的事都告訴我們。」
4:26 耶穌說：「這和你說話的就是他！」

 

Now Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that he was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John— ² although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples. ³ So he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.

⁴ Now he had to go through Samaria. ⁵ So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. ⁶ Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.

⁷ When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” ⁸ (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)

⁹ The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.^[a])

¹⁰ Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

¹¹ “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? ¹² Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”

¹³ Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, ¹⁴ but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

¹⁵ The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

¹⁶ He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”

¹⁷ “I have no husband,” she replied.

Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. ¹⁸ The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”

¹⁹ “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. ²⁰ Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

²¹ “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. ²² You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. ²³ Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. ²⁴ God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

²⁵ The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

²⁶ Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”

    我們的信仰中心是主耶穌，你認為「祂是誰」，就可以判定我們的信仰是不是正確！

 

    在主耶穌與撒馬利亞婦人的對話中，主耶穌是一步一步的引導婦人來思考「祂是誰」。從請婦人打水給她喝開始，就要婦人注意祂是誰。雖然婦人抱怨祂是猶太人怎能向她要水喝，耶穌回答說：「你若知道上帝的恩賜，和對你說『給我水喝』的是誰，你必早求他，他也必早給了你活水。」

 

    然後從水談到宗教的問題，當婦人說：「我知道彌賽亞（就是那稱為基督的）要來；他來了，必將一切的事都告訴我們。」

 

    主耶穌就直接了當說：「這和你說話的就是他！」

 

    同樣，今日我們要清楚主耶穌是誰？答案就是：「主耶穌就是彌賽亞，也就是基督！」
