希伯來書2:10-18

2:10 原來那為萬物所屬、為萬物所本的，要領許多的兒子進榮耀裡去，使救他們的元帥，因受苦難得以完全，本是合宜的。
2:11 因那使人成聖的和那些得以成聖的，都是出於一。所以，他稱他們為弟兄也不以為恥，
2:12 說：我要將你的名傳與我的弟兄，在會中我要頌揚你；
2:13 又說：我要倚賴他；又說：看哪，我與上帝所給我的兒女。
2:14 兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼，
2:15 並要釋放那些一生因怕死而為奴僕的人。
2:16 他並不救拔天使，乃是救拔亞伯拉罕的後裔。
2:17 所以，他凡事該與他的弟兄相同，為要在上帝的事上成為慈悲忠信的大祭司，為百姓的罪獻上挽回祭。
2:18 他自己既然被試探而受苦，就能搭救被試探的人。

¹⁰ In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. ¹¹ Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.^{[g] 12} He says,

“I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters;
    in the assembly I will sing your praises.”^[h]

¹³ And again,

“I will put my trust in him.”^[i]

And again he says,

“Here am I, and the children God has given me.”^[j]

¹⁴ Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— ¹⁵ and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. ¹⁶ For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants. ¹⁷ For this reason he had to be made like them,^[k] fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. ¹⁸ Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

    感謝上帝！耶穌基督不僅是我們的大祭司，祂更是自己成為祭物位我們獻上自己！因為「兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼，並要釋放那些一生因怕死而為奴僕的人。他並不救拔天使，乃是救拔亞伯拉罕的後裔。」

     所謂「亞伯拉罕的後裔」，就是因信稱義的我們這些信徒，我們雖然是有著祖先的罪性，並且天天犯罪得罪上帝和人！但是耶穌基督已經為我們付上代價，成為永遠的贖罪祭來挽回我們和上帝，使我們和上帝重新恢復正確合宜的關係！這樣的關係不在行為上，而是在地位上！我們既然在地位上和好，更要追求行為上的，只是我們必須在耶穌基督再來完全得贖的時候，我們才可以在行為上完全不犯罪！

    然而我們為什麼有把握將來能夠完全得贖呢？就是因為「他（耶穌基督）也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼」！是的，耶穌基督在十字架上得勝了！死已經被敗壞了！魔鬼的能力必定終止的，永遠的勝利是屬上帝和祂的子民的！
