2:1 耶和華曉諭摩西、亞倫說：
2:2 「以色列人要各歸自己的纛下，在本族的旗號那裡，對著會幕的四圍安營。
2:3 在東邊，向日出之地，照著軍隊安營的是猶大營的纛。有亞米拿達的兒子拿順作猶大人的首領。
2:4 他軍隊被數的，共有七萬四千六百名。
2:5 挨著他安營的是以薩迦支派。有蘇押的兒子拿坦業作以薩迦人的首領。
2:6 他軍隊被數的，共有五萬四千四百名。
2:7 又有西布倫支派。希倫的兒子以利押作西布倫人的首領。
2:8 他軍隊被數的，共有五萬七千四百名。
2:9 凡屬猶大營、按著軍隊被數的，共有十八萬六千四百名，要作第一隊往前行。
2:10 「在南邊，按著軍隊是流便營的纛。有示丟珥的兒子以利蓿作流便人的首領。
2:11 他軍隊被數的，共有四萬六千五百名。
2:12 挨著他安營的是西緬支派。蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑作西緬人的首領。
2:13 他軍隊被數的，共有五萬九千三百名。
2:14 又有迦得支派。丟珥的兒子以利雅薩作迦得人的首領。
2:15 他軍隊被數的，共有四萬五千六百五十名，
2:16 凡屬流便營、按著軍隊被數的，共有十五萬一千四百五十名，要作第二隊往前行。
2:17 「隨後，會幕要往前行，有利未營在諸營中間。他們怎樣安營就怎樣往前行，各按本位，各歸本纛。
2:18 「在西邊，按著軍隊是以法蓮營的纛。亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪作以法蓮人的首領。
2:19 他軍隊被數的，共有四萬零五百名。
2:20 挨著他的是瑪拿西支派。比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列作瑪拿西人的首領。
2:21 他軍隊被數的，共有三萬二千二百名。
2:22 又有便雅憫支派。基多尼的兒子亞比但作便雅憫人的首領。
2:23 他軍隊被數的，共有三萬五千四百名。
2:24 凡屬以法蓮營、按著軍隊被數的，共有十萬零八千一百名，要作第三隊往前行。
2:25 「在北邊，按著軍隊是但營的纛。亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝作但人的首領。
2:26 他軍隊被數的，共有六萬二千七百名。
2:27 挨著他安營的是亞設支派。俄蘭的兒子帕結作亞設人的首領。
2:28 他軍隊被數的，共有四萬一千五百名。
2:29 又有拿弗他利支派。以南的兒子亞希拉作拿弗他利人的首領。
2:30 他軍隊被數的，共有五萬三千四百名。
2:31 凡但營被數的，共有十五萬七千六百名，要歸本纛作末隊往前行。」
2:32 這些以色列人，照他們的宗族，按他們的軍隊，在諸營中被數的，共有六十萬零三千五百五十名。
2:33 惟獨利未人沒有數在以色列人中，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。
2:34 以色列人就這樣行，各人照他們的家室、宗族歸於本纛，安營起行，都是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 “The
Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each
of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.”
3 On
the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp
under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of
Amminadab. 4 His division numbers 74,600.
5 The
tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar
is Nethanel son of Zuar. 6 His division numbers 54,400.
7 The
tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son
of Helon. 8 His division numbers 57,400.
9 All
the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number
186,400. They will set out first.
10 On
the south will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The
leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur. 11 His
division numbers 46,500.
12 The
tribe of Simeon will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is
Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. 13 His division numbers 59,300.
14 The
tribe of Gad will be next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of
Deuel.[a] 15 His
division numbers 45,650.
16 All
the men assigned to the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, number
151,450. They will set out second.
17 Then
the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of
the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their
own place under their standard.
18 On
the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The
leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud. 19 His
division numbers 40,500.
20 The
tribe of Manasseh will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is
Gamaliel son of Pedahzur. 21 His division numbers 32,200.
22 The
tribe of Benjamin will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan
son of Gideoni. 23 His division numbers 35,400.
24 All
the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, number
108,100. They will set out third.
25 On
the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard. The
leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. 26 His
division numbers 62,700.
27 The
tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is
Pagiel son of Okran. 28 His division numbers 41,500.
29 The
tribe of Naphtali will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira
son of Enan. 30 His division numbers 53,400.
31 All
the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last,
under their standards.
32 These
are the Israelites, counted according to their families. All the men in the
camps, by their divisions, number 603,550. 33 The Levites,
however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.
34 So
the Israelites did everything the Lord
commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that
is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.

在這個時候以色列成為耶和華的軍隊，各支派的軍隊按著「東、南、西、北」（順時針）的方向來排列，而會幕就在中央的地方。聖經在這裡也明說：「以色列人就這樣行，各人照他們的家室、宗族歸於本纛，安營起行，都是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。」
以色列全會眾是如此，今日的教會也是如此，基督才是教會的主、牧者、君王，也就是會幕的位置，我們屬於祂的人，就像各個支派一般！也因此，我們要真正成為基督的教會，就必須高舉基督勝於一切，不是高舉人勝過基督！
基督確實是我們的元帥，祂更是君王直到永永遠遠，我們在永世中雖然也要與基督同做王，但是我們要將榮耀冠冕獻給基督，唯有被殺的羔羊配得一切的榮耀！正如基督所宣告：「天上地下所有的權柄都賜給我了！」（馬太福音28:18）
