箴言2:1-5

 

2:1 我兒，你若領受我的言語，存記我的命令，

2:2 側耳聽智慧，專心求聰明，

2:3 呼求明哲，揚聲求聰明，

2:4 尋找它，如尋找銀子，搜求它，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，

2:5 你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識上帝。

 

My son, if you accept my words
    and store up my commands within you,
² turning your ear to wisdom
    and applying your heart to understanding—
³ indeed, if you call out for insight
    and cry aloud for understanding,
⁴ and if you look for it as for silver
    and search for it as for hidden treasure,
⁵ then you will understand the fear of the Lord
    and find the knowledge of God.

    在《箴言》談到的智慧和一般人認為的智慧是不同的，之所以不同是以上帝為判斷的中心，因此我們在《箴言》中會一直面對到：「敬畏耶和華」！

 

    「敬畏耶和華」是從心裡對上帝的崇敬，這是人在聖靈中得著光照的自然反應，不是因為人教導來的，也不是謙卑不謙卑的問題，是上帝透過聖靈做工，使人知道上帝的偉大與榮耀！

 

    而對上帝的敬畏不是表現給人看，希望透過自己的敬虔在教會得著地位，受人尊敬。這完完全全是個人與上帝之間的連結與態度。說到這裡，要祈求上帝幫助我們，不要以敬前在教會得地位，這也是偶像崇拜！

 

    我們真的要很小心，在我們的信仰道路中，魔鬼、肉體與世界為我們設下許多的陷阱，我們不得不謹慎與小心，更是要求主幫助，使我們不致竊取上帝的榮耀！
