17:1 以法蓮山地有一個人名叫米迦。
17:2 他對母親說：「你那一千一百舍客勒銀子被人拿去，你因此咒詛，並且告訴了我。看哪，這銀子在我這裡，是我拿去了。」他母親說：「我兒啊，願耶和華賜福與你！」
17:3 米迦就把這一千一百舍客勒銀子還他母親。他母親說：「我分出這銀子來為你獻給耶和華，好雕刻一個像，鑄成一個像。現在我還是交給你。」
17:4 米迦將銀子還他母親，他母親將二百舍客勒銀子交給銀匠，雕刻一個像，鑄成一個像，安置在米迦的屋內。
17:5 這米迦有了神堂，又製造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一個兒子作祭司。
17:6 那時以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。
17:7 猶大的伯利恆有一個少年人，是猶大族的利未人，他在那裡寄居。
17:8 這人離開猶大的伯利恆城，要找一個可住的地方。行路的時候，到了以法蓮山地，走到米迦的家。
17:9 米迦問他說：「你從哪裡來？」他回答說：「從猶大的伯利恆來。我是利未人，要找一個可住的地方。」
17:10 米迦說：「你可以住在我這裡，我以你為父、為祭司。我每年給你十舍客勒銀子，一套衣服和度日的食物。」利未人就進了他的家。
17:11 利未人情願與那人同住；那人看這少年人如自己的兒子一樣。
17:12 米迦分派這少年的利未人作祭司，他就住在米迦的家裡。
17:13 米迦說：「現在我知道耶和華必賜福與我，因我有一個利未人作祭司。」

Now a man named Micah from the hill
country of Ephraim 2 said to his mother, “The eleven hundred
shekels[a] of silver
that were taken from you and about which I heard you utter a curse—I have that
silver with me; I took it.”
Then
his mother said, “The Lord bless
you, my son!”
3 When
he returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, she said, “I
solemnly consecrate my silver to the Lord
for my son to make an image overlaid with silver. I will give it back to you.”
4 So
after he returned the silver to his mother, she took two hundred shekels[b] of silver
and gave them to a silversmith, who used them to make the idol. And it was put
in Micah’s house.
5 Now
this man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and some household gods and
installed one of his sons as his priest. 6 In those days Israel
had no king; everyone did as they saw fit.
7 A
young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah, who had been living within the clan of
Judah, 8 left that town in search of some other place to stay.
On his way[c] he came to
Micah’s house in the hill country of Ephraim.
9 Micah
asked him, “Where are you from?”
“I’m
a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah,” he said, “and I’m looking for a place to
stay.”
10 Then
Micah said to him, “Live with me and be my father and priest, and I’ll give you
ten shekels[d] of silver a
year, your clothes and your food.” 11 So the Levite agreed to
live with him, and the young man became like one of his sons to him. 12 Then
Micah installed the Levite, and the young man became his priest and lived in
his house. 13 And Micah said, “Now I know that the Lord will be good to me, since this
Levite has become my priest.”

假宗教就像米迦這件事情一樣，是出於一群道德有問題的人，害怕被他們所謂的咒詛來傷害，就做一些讓人覺得荒謬的事情！正如他拿了母親的銀子，因為母親的咒詛只好把銀子還給母親，不僅如此還弄假神來保護自己！
為了讓人覺得假神很有能力，還將它弄得像真神一般，又利用真神所揀選的利未人來讓人覺得一切都是「真」的來欺騙人！還自以為是地說：「現在我知道耶和華必賜福與我，因我有一個利未人作祭司。」
我們讀了米迦說的這段話，是不是覺得很荒謬呢？但是今天許多人沒有好好的研讀聖經，又沒有用至聖的真道造就自己，為了表現自己很敬虔，就在網路上或平常說話中引用別人的話語或別人的資料來教訓人，以為這樣人家就會尊敬他，這樣的行徑是不是和米迦一樣？
今天我們要傳講上帝的話語，一定要在內室與上帝有相交的經驗，在暗處領受的，在明處宣講出來，這才是上帝真正的出口！因為他是真正汲於從上帝來的活水，而不用人用過的汙水，如此才真正造就自己和別人！
