馬可福音4:30-34

 

4:30 又說：「上帝的國，我們可用甚麼比較呢？可用甚麼比喻表明呢？
4:31 好像一粒芥菜種，種在地裡的時候，雖比地上的百種都小，
4:32 但種上以後，就長起來，比各樣的菜都大，又長出大枝來，甚至天上的飛鳥可以宿在它的蔭下。」
4:33 耶穌用許多這樣的比喻，照他們所能聽的，對他們講道。
4:34 若不用比喻，就不對他們講；沒有人的時候，就把一切的道講給門徒聽。

 

³⁰ Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? ³¹ It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. ³² Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”

³³ With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand. ³⁴ He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.

    上帝的作為常常是在細微之處。正如一顆小小的芥菜種！而主耶穌來到世間也是像一顆小小的芥菜種，默默地在加利利的小鎮拿撒勒，隱藏了三十年！及使出來服事也是不張揚，在一群窮苦的當中，幫助他們脫離疾病和惡者的壓迫，讓它們身心靈平安！

 

    然而這顆芥菜種卻發展到今日，竟然有億億萬萬人稱祂為主，歌頌祂的名！正如保羅的基督頌歌(腓立比書2:6-11)所說：

 

    他本有上帝的形像，不以自己與上帝同等為強奪的；

    反倒虛己，取了奴僕的形像，成為人的樣式；

    既有人的樣子，就自己卑微，存心順服，以至於死，且死在十字架上。

    所以，上帝將他升為至高，又賜給他那超乎萬名之上的名，

    叫一切在天上的、地上的，和地底下的，因耶穌的名無不屈膝，

    無不口稱「耶穌基督為主」，使榮耀歸與父上帝。

 

    從主耶穌到教會以及上帝國的實現，我們看見主耶穌所說的比喻，將要完完全全實現了，榮耀歸給主！
