以賽亞書60:15-22

 

60:15 你雖然被撇棄被厭惡，甚至無人經過，我卻使你變為永遠的榮華，成為累代的喜樂。
60:16 你也必吃萬國的奶，又吃君王的奶。你便知道我─耶和華是你的救主，是你的救贖主，雅各的大能者。
60:17 我要拿金子代替銅，拿銀子代替鐵，拿銅代替木頭，拿鐵代替石頭；並要以和平為你的官長，以公義為你的監督。
60:18 你地上不再聽見強暴的事，境內不再聽見荒涼毀滅的事。你必稱你的牆為「拯救」，稱你的門為「讚美」。
60:19 日頭不再作你白晝的光；月亮也不再發光照耀你。耶和華卻要作你永遠的光；你上帝要為你的榮耀。
60:20 你的日頭不再下落；你的月亮也不退縮；因為耶和華必作你永遠的光。你悲哀的日子也完畢了。
60:21 你的居民都成為義人，永遠得地為業；是我種的栽子，我手的工作，使我得榮耀。
60:22 至小的族要加增千倍；微弱的國必成為強盛。我─耶和華要按定期速成這事。

 

¹⁵ 「Although you have been forsaken and hated,
    with no one traveling through,
I will make you the everlasting pride
    and the joy of all generations.
¹⁶ You will drink the milk of nations
    and be nursed at royal breasts.
Then you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior,
    your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
¹⁷ Instead of bronze I will bring you gold,
    and silver in place of iron.
Instead of wood I will bring you bronze,
    and iron in place of stones.
I will make peace your governor
    and well-being your ruler.
¹⁸ No longer will violence be heard in your land,
    nor ruin or destruction within your borders,
but you will call your walls Salvation
    and your gates Praise.
¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day,
    nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the Lord will be your everlasting light,
    and your God will be your glory.
²⁰ Your sun will never set again,
    and your moon will wane no more;
the Lord will be your everlasting light,
    and your days of sorrow will end.
²¹ Then all your people will be righteous
    and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
    the work of my hands,
    for the display of my splendor.
²² The least of you will become a thousand,
    the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the Lord;   in its time I will do this swiftly.」

    雖然被人藐視，但是上帝卻要改變！因著上帝的榮光，反而被人尊崇！

 

    基督徒的生命也是如此，本是被厭棄！信了主耶穌，就脫離黑暗入光明，反倒被人羨慕！正如使徒彼得所說：「  惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬上帝的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。」(彼得前書2:9)

  

    既然如此，我們要為自己能信靠主耶穌來感謝上帝！上帝的榮美彰顯在我們生命，也因此我們就被高舉了！這一切，不是我們能做什麼，而是上帝願意來做、來改變！
