鑒察人心的，曉得聖靈的意思，因為聖靈照著上帝的旨意替聖徒祈求。
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

聖靈不只是將上帝的心意啟示讓我們知道，祂也是照著上帝的旨意為每一位屬上帝的聖徒禱告，使上帝的恩典與大能臨到！這是超越我們的想像，完全是上帝的作為！
因此，基督徒的生命世上帝引導的生命，祂不只賜下聖經，也透過聖靈讓我們與祂互動。所以，我們不用擔心上帝是如此的偉大、聖潔、威嚴、公義、…，只要透過上帝和主耶穌所差遣的聖靈，我們就可以運用主耶穌所完成的救恩，來享受上帝豐盛的慈愛與恩典！
因此，我們來到上帝的面前，不是存害怕恐懼的心，而是歡喜快樂的心，領受上帝的恩寵，如同花兒接受太陽的光照之後，更加的鮮豔與美麗！同樣，上帝有要透過我們，讓祂的榮光顯耀出來，讓人感受上帝的奇妙與偉大！
23:23 千夫長便叫了兩個百夫長來，說：「預備步兵二百，馬兵七十，長槍手二百，今夜亥初往凱撒利亞去；
23:24 也要預備牲口叫保羅騎上，護送到巡撫腓力斯那裡去。」
23:25 千夫長又寫了文書，
23:26 大略說：「克勞第•呂西亞，請巡撫腓力斯大人安。
23:27 這人被猶太人拿住，將要殺害，我得知他是羅馬人，就帶兵丁下去救他出來。
23:28 因要知道他們告他的緣故，我就帶他下到他們的公會去，
23:29 便查知他被告是因他們律法的辯論，並沒有甚麼該死該綁的罪名。
23:30 後來有人把要害他的計謀告訴我，我就立時解他到你那裡去，又吩咐告他的人在你面前告他。（有古卷加：願你平安！）」
23:31 於是，兵丁照所吩咐他們的，將保羅夜裡帶到安提帕底。
23:32 第二天，讓馬兵護送，他們就回營樓去。
23:33 馬兵來到凱撒利亞，把文書呈給巡撫，便叫保羅站在他面前。
23:34 巡撫看了文書，問保羅是哪省的人，既曉得他是基利家人，
23:35 就說：「等告你的人來到，我要細聽你的事」；便吩咐人把他看守在希律的衙門裡。
23 Then he called two of his centurions and ordered them, “Get ready a detachment of two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen[b] to go to Caesarea at nine tonight. 24 Provide horses for Paul so that he may be taken safely to Governor Felix.”
25 He wrote a letter as follows:
26 Claudius Lysias,
To His Excellency, Governor Felix:
Greetings.
27 This man was seized by the Jews and they were about to kill him, but I came with my troops and rescued him, for I had learned that he is a Roman citizen. 28 I wanted to know why they were accusing him, so I brought him to their Sanhedrin. 29 I found that the accusation had to do with questions about their law, but there was no charge against him that deserved death or imprisonment. 30 When I was informed of a plot to be carried out against the man, I sent him to you at once. I also ordered his accusers to present to you their case against him.
31 So the soldiers, carrying out their orders, took Paul with them during the night and brought him as far as Antipatris. 32 The next day they let the cavalry go on with him, while they returned to the barracks. 33 When the cavalry arrived in Caesarea, they delivered the letter to the governor and handed Paul over to him. 34 The governor read the letter and asked what province he was from. Learning that he was from Cilicia, 35 he said, “I will hear your case when your accusers get here.” Then he ordered that Paul be kept under guard in Herod’s palace.

保羅被送到凱撒利亞，也是羅馬所派的巡撫腓力斯那裏，好讓保羅換個地方，也使猶太人不要太囂張！
23:12 到了天亮，猶太人同謀起誓，說：「若不先殺保羅就不吃不喝。」
23:13 這樣同心起誓的有四十多人。
23:14 他們來見祭司長和長老，說：「我們已經起了一個大誓，若不先殺保羅就不吃甚麼。
23:15 現在你們和公會要知會千夫長，叫他帶下保羅到你們這裡來，假作要詳細察考他的事；我們已經預備好了，不等他來到跟前就殺他。」
23:16 保羅的外甥聽見他們設下埋伏，就來到營樓裡告訴保羅。
23:17 保羅請一個百夫長來，說：「你領這少年人去見千夫長，他有事告訴他。」
23:18 於是把他領去見千夫長，說：「被囚的保羅請我到他那裡，求我領這少年人來見你；他有事告訴你。」
23:19 千夫長就拉著他的手，走到一旁，私下問他說：「你有甚麼事告訴我呢？」
23:20 他說：「猶太人已經約定，要求你明天帶下保羅到公會裡去，假作要詳細查問他的事。
23:21 你切不要隨從他們；因為他們有四十多人埋伏，已經起誓說：若不先殺保羅就不吃不喝。現在預備好了，只等你應允。」
23:22 於是千夫長打發少年人走，囑咐他說：「不要告訴人你將這事報給我了。」
12 The next morning some Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. 13 More than forty men were involved in this plot. 14 They went to the chief priests and the elders and said, “We have taken a solemn oath not to eat anything until we have killed Paul. 15 Now then, you and the Sanhedrin petition the commander to bring him before you on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about his case. We are ready to kill him before he gets here.”
16 But when the son of Paul’s sister heard of this plot, he went into the barracks and told Paul.
17 Then Paul called one of the centurions and said, “Take this young man to the commander; he has something to tell him.” 18 So he took him to the commander.
The centurion said, “Paul, the prisoner, sent for me and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.”
19 The commander took the young man by the hand, drew him aside and asked, “What is it you want to tell me?”
20 He said: “Some Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul before the Sanhedrin tomorrow on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about him. 21 Don’t give in to them, because more than forty of them are waiting in ambush for him. They have taken an oath not to eat or drink until they have killed him. They are ready now, waiting for your consent to their request.”
22 The commander dismissed the young man with this warning: “Don’t tell anyone that you have reported this to me.”

上帝仍然保守保羅的生命，尤其是面對猶太人的壓迫！猶太人同謀起誓，說：「若不先殺保羅就不吃不喝。」竟然被保羅的外甥聽見，最後報告給看守的羅馬兵丁之千夫長，好讓保羅不致遭害！
雖然對保羅而言，生死已經為主耶穌的緣故置之度外，但是主耶穌還是隨時保守，讓他不必受不必要的傷害！正如詩人所說：「求你保護我，如同保護眼中的瞳人；將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下，使我脫離那欺壓我的惡人，就是圍困我要害我命的仇敵。」(詩篇17:8-9)
求主耶隨時與我們同在，保守我們出入平安，因為我們相信上帝適合的愛我們！
23:1 保羅定睛看著公會的人，說：「弟兄們，我在上帝面前行事為人都是憑著良心，直到今日。」
23:2 大祭司亞拿尼亞就吩咐旁邊站著的人打他的嘴。
23:3 保羅對他說：「你這粉飾的牆，上帝要打你！你坐堂為的是按律法審問我，你竟違背律法，吩咐人打我嗎？」
23:4 站在旁邊的人說：「你辱罵上帝的大祭司嗎？」
23:5 保羅說：「弟兄們，我不曉得他是大祭司；經上記著說：『不可毀謗你百姓的官長。』」
23:6 保羅看出大眾一半是撒都該人，一半是法利賽人，就在公會中大聲說：「弟兄們，我是法利賽人，也是法利賽人的子孫。我現在受審問，是為盼望死人復活。」
23:7 說了這話，法利賽人和撒都該人就爭論起來，會眾分為兩黨。
23:8 因為撒都該人說，沒有復活，也沒有天使和鬼魂；法利賽人卻說，兩樣都有。
23:9 於是大大地喧嚷起來。有幾個法利賽黨的文士站起來爭辯說：「我們看不出這人有甚麼惡處，倘若有鬼魂或是天使對他說過話，怎麼樣呢？」
23:10 那時大起爭吵，千夫長恐怕保羅被他們扯碎了，就吩咐兵丁下去，把他從眾人當中搶出來，帶進營樓去。
23:11 當夜，主站在保羅旁邊，說：「放心吧！你怎樣在耶路撒冷為我作見證，也必怎樣在羅馬為我作見證。」
Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, “My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.” 2 At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth. 3 Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!”
4 Those who were standing near Paul said, “How dare you insult God’s high priest!”
5 Paul replied, “Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.’[a]”
6 Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees. I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.” 7 When he said this, a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided. 8 (The Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and that there are neither angels nor spirits, but the Pharisees believe all these things.)
9 There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously. “We find nothing wrong with this man,” they said. “What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?” 10 The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks.
11 The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”

保羅雖然為主的緣故，受到猶大高層的壓迫，讓人覺得無可奈何！然而主耶穌並沒有放棄他，當夜，主站在保羅旁邊，說：「放心吧！你怎樣在耶路撒冷為我作見證，也必怎樣在羅馬為我作見證。」
作者將保羅受逼迫的經歷詳實地寫下，讓我們也有效法的對象；尤其是我們遇到類似的狀況時，我們不會因為群眾的壓力而軟弱，心裡仍然堅信上帝的保守，就不會慌亂！
而保羅的經歷也提醒我們，我們信靠主耶穌不是追求安逸的日子，而是要背十字架、要付代價。也因為這樣，我們更是要堅心倚靠者，且只有主是可靠的，其他的不可靠，也不可靠！我們信主耶穌是為了在上帝的審判台前站立得住，因為上帝透過耶穌基督所付出的來拯救我們，讓我們感受他的大愛！
